To elaborate further upon yesterday..
Comment Commentary
Shin- Go check out the pics ov me scroing with chix on my site!!1 It has spyware and popup adz!
Lewna- Thank you, gracias, arigato gozaimasu, and, uh, the rest. o_O
animangademon- Nah, you have to be forty to be president. Too bad, huh?
James- Oh, I am. Though I've been a little scared of taking the iPod out of its plastic. It's too cool-looking to touch.
Azure- A lot of people group them together, but I don't mind.
Syk- Aw, you do care.
Solo- The shirt is so cool. ;_;
Godel- You have to roll to see if it's effective first. ~_^
Mal- Bah, DDR is already sitting right behind me from a while ago. Besides, arcades for life.

Hm, school-wise, there's not too much to say about yesterday. We won in basketball again, I drew a very pleasant drawing in art (which shall become a substitute comic for when I'm in Pittsburgh).. After school I dragged one of my more reliable male friends to the mall to assist me in shopping for everyone else. He despises Christmas, for several reasons, so he didn't have too great a time. Much of the shopping was done in stores such as American Eagle, Old Navy and the Sanrio Store. He made a nice analogy to Metroid Prime 2 with this: The mall is the dark world, and stores such as Radio Shack and Suncoast are the light bubbles of sanctuary.
In the end, I was satisfied with what I got everyone, and everybody seemed to be equally pleased. Plushies + Nice journals + I Love the 80's shirt = satisfaction.
In return, I got a kickass Homer beer mug, a Stewie shirt ("Why you sick, sick little moo cow"), and a big box of delicious-sounding tea bags.
But the best part was actually giving people things. Last year I had no idea people were buying things for each other, and I felt guilty when I got stuff. Now I have a clear conscience, and it is good.
I've never been very good at wrapping presents. Perhaps I don't have the delicate touch required, or maybe I'm bad with tape, but I'm never very satisfied with my handiwork. I took my time with these, making purdy little to/from tags. My mom decided to stick little nutcracker stickers on them for some reason, so I made the best of it by giving them odd names.
As for gifts from my family.. Well, Half-Life 2 and a 20 gig iPod have already been established, but I also got volumes two and three of Bleach and the Half-Life 2 artbook. I don't like Bleach much (I bought the first volume on a whim a while back), so I'll probably just read those and exchange them for other stuff, and I'm too scared of spoiling the game by looking at the Half-Life 2 artbook. I skimmed through and saw funny, unprofessional HL1 concept art, which was cool.
And the cover rocks. Hard.

We ate at Outback tonight, because my brother's friend's mom coincidentally gave us gift cards for that place. For those of you who aren't familiar with the chain, Outback is a down-under steak house, which, when I look at it now, is incredibly over-the-top. They have wooden carvings of various Australian animals everywhere (I stared at a freaking platypus for two hours as we were waiting to be seated), and they have "G'Day" and "Mate" written all over everything on the menu.. It's hilariously stereotypical.
James and Baron, I'm looking at you.
The food itself was delish. But there's not much to say there.
T-minus four days until I go to Pennsylvania, and die in the below-zero temperatures. I should probably set up a will, huh?
EDIT: It- It has nothing to do with Chise, from the looks of it! SHAME.
