The circle of life, death and updating this damn blog.

Comment Commentary

Shin- Now all we need to do is make Hallmark produce cards about it.

Syk- It got old fast. Same old flashbangs, same old levels, same objectives.

Karmi- What, do you want me to write about how many times I ate Goldfish today? I'm out of topics here.

Well, all the family has left now. It was a pleasant evening. The new baby was predictably smothered (They all start looking the same after a while), but he's not at that age where he starts getting irritating, so he's cool with the Sen-man.

Oh I am so cool.

I was bestowed a couple gift cards, which I am going to ration for after the new year. Because I feel like it, and if I say why Karmi is going to make herself blind.

I think the highlight was when all of the male attendants gathered around to gawk at the wonders of Half-Life 2. Most of them are Halo devotees- casual ones- and they didn't know much about Half-Life 2. They seemed to fall in love. At one point, one of them said, "I can't watch anymore. If I do, I'll go home play Halo 2 and go 'pfft.'"

Assimilation! Victory!

The downside to that is that they're all waiting for Xbox ports. They say that the PC controls hurt their hands.

Shin sent me MP3s (Not WMAs for once) of Trompe Le Monde from the Pixies, and it rocks. So far, I don't like it as much as Dolittle. It seems a lot more mellow, I think, and a lot of the songs sound the same because of that. Dolittle had songs like Debaser and Crackity Jones to break that up.

Of course, I wasn't fond of most of Dolittle at first, either. It will probably grow on me, like so much music does.

It's fun stalling on the comic. I think I'm just going to settle with Comic Sans MS for now, because my Fonts folder is being a big pain in the chair-warmer. It's actually 100% done.. It's just a very large file, and 250free won't host smething this big. That's the penalty for 8-panel comics, I suppose.

Isn't it great how God is doing everything in his power to keep you all from reading this? It's probably for your own good. I mean, this seriously blows.

Or maybe I'm being too Piro on myself.

Azure, you'd better get me that freaking Earthlink account before Tuesday.
