Good to be Bach.

Comment Commentary

Syk- Live action. It was in TECHNICOLOR, too.

James- You were so right about how cool it is to control the Ant Lions.. Man, that was awesome.

Shin- The voices "aren't so bad"? What kind of god-awful games are you listening to?

Mal- Hm.. I think I'm going to have to think of all of your comments and updates as if you said them in a thick Southern accent, just for fun.

Tony- Impressive.. Though I was pretty let-down by Nocturne's soundtrack. The music was a lot cooler when you had it playing in the background of the game, but listening to it by itself.. Nah.

I'd like to get this out of the way for Karmi so she can be quiet about how my posts suck: Super Mario Bros. and Animal Crossing.

Our trip home.. Was insane. Not just a little bit insane, mind you, but Norman Bates + Leatherface + my math teacher insane. Huge.

We were supposed to come back yesterday. We woke up at six, got all our stuff together, drove down to the terminal, said our goodbyes, and walked inside only to find out that our flight had been cancelled. Isn't it generally a habit to call ahead of time to make sure this doesn't happen? Well, my mom didn't, for whatever reason, and so we had to call our family to drive back and bring us home. We slept for most of the day, as my dad was on the phone negotiating with the crazy airline people. He got royally pissed when he found out he had to miss another day of work, so he got all Captain Ahab on us.. Only not with whales. More like commercial airliners.

In the end, we got a flight that worked, but it wasn't at all pretty. We were desperate, though, withering away at my grandmother's house, so we would take anything.

Even a 23-hour adventure that took us from Pittsburgh to Baltimore to Denver to San Jose to Los Angeles.

And it was madness.

We had our dog with us, so he scratched at his cage the entire time. He's a quiet dog, though, so there wasn't much barking, aside from this conversation he had with some other dog on one of the planes. I forget which, because they all blurred together.

Layovers.. They were all, fortunately, short, but apparently not long enough to get me food, no matter how fucking starving I was. There was a Panda Express in Denver just taunting me.

Our luggage didn't seem to appear when we finally got to LAX. We stood there waiting at carousel number two, amongst the.. Rainbow of people you find in that airport, for an hour, and we only found two items. The other five turned out to be in the back room, because they got a direct flight and we didn't. Grr.

I make it sound like it was shitty, but it was a nice adventure. I'm glad to be back.

..And I'm tired. And I want to play KOTOR. So I shall end this post now.

EDIT: Oh, and happy new year. I'm not doing anything tonight.. I'll probably just watch Comedy Central's thing and eat popcorn.
