..
I don't know how to say this without sounding corny, but.. Wednesday was my birthday (O-ho, I stole that directly from Syk's MyOtaku a couple months bad. I remembered it).
I didn't get a ton of stuff, and because of the costs of most things I desire I don't feel let down by that. After all, I did get some pretty awesome things.
-Johnny the Homicidal Maniac Director's Cut-- Haha, this was most certainly worth it. Johnny got a lot less mindless in violence and went on to more psychology and symbolism.. With enough Wobbly Headed Bob to keep me laughing. In fact, I haven't drawn as much anime as of late-- More stuff like what Jhonen Vasequez does.
The ending was kind of sad, though..
-Squee's Great Big Book of Unspeakable Horrors-- The Squee! compilation from Jhonen Vasquez. A lot funnier than JtML in a lot of ways, but in the end I think the "Meanwhile" and other filler stuff in the back was what made it so great.
-Witch Hunter Robin Special Edition-- Yep, this was #1 on my wish list sort of thing.. And quite frankly, I think I had too high expectations for it. The character design bothered me a bit (Their faces are kind of strange) and things are starting off kind of slowly. I hear it picks up after a while, though, so I shall persist (Besides, I got some awesome animations cells, the box, a shot glass and a T-shirt inside, so it was pretty worth it regardless).
-Age of Mythology-- Ohh, I have had a lot of fun with this game already. In my opinion, it's leaps and bounds over Age of Empires.. The variety of God Powers and such is really intriguing. My brother has been paying me to let him watch me play. o.o' He says he would play, but it "looks too hard". That's probably why he never plays any games.
And.. I'm done now.
