Comment Commentary
Shin- That's so un-Seinfeld.
James- There's certainly nothing else like it in the world.. Well, except for Pepsi and Royal Crown.
Shinji- No, there's still Communists.
..Actually, I think Disco Stalin fits that criteria.
Mimmi- Looking at your avatar, I'm getting hungry for chocolate, so we're even.

I'm not feeling nearly as creative or energetic as yesterday, nor do I have the desire to do a good update. My art teacher's finally giving us (the rockin' group of six people who have our very own table and are generally allowed to draw whatever we want) grading on assignments. Before today everybody was just goofing off, and while they were still doing the same today after he told us we had deadlines, I think things will get more productive back there.
I began a crappy little Metal Gear strip in art, basically poking fun at Snake Eater's camo index and silly AI. Don't expect to see it, because it sucks (though Snake was drawn with clean lines).
I've felt like drawing some of the posters you see in Half-Life 2, because they are just that cool. My particular favorite, "Born," is so simple and so deep that I've been doodling it all day. I made an actual attempt at replicating it just now, and the hand in the picture (it's basically a hand with the Lambda symbol on it, but it's cooler than just that) isn't half bad, but it's not half good either. Hooray for large thumbs.

We're beginning the whole Constitution dealie in History this week. There are forty-seven pages of notes we have to copy down from the overhead projector on that goddamn article, which is going to take quite some time. I doubt we'll be doing much else until it's over with. Still, it's better than busywork and reading about obscure gamblers in funny pants and their wagers over petty stuff in 1789. It gives me time to zone out, and to think, and that's good.
..Nothing else worth saying. Oh well.
EDIT: Oh, here's something. We have World War II research essays due in mid-February, and they can be on anything that is involved with the war. I think I'm going to do something comparing and contrasting American and Nazi propaganda, but my teacher says that's an incredibly broad topic. I'll tinker around with it.. Should be interesting.
