Insert a random song quote here.
Comment Commentary
Tony- I checked GameRankings earlier today.. On average, it has 9.1. Most of them are just nines out of ten, and IGN's score just elevates it a bit. I agree with you about IGN often overrating games, though.
Azure- I thought you already gave yourself away to a certain episode of Naruto.
Shin- It will be great if there is, but there's always a ton of other things to do there. Perhaps we shall go head-to-head in the gaming hall this year?
DDG- Ever since I first played the original, I've come off as somebody with a humongous Dante fetish. I'm hoping I'll be able to suppress that with this game, but given my history with the franchise..

Gaaah. This is a travesty. Between Otakon getting L'Arc~en~Ciel and now Anime Central getting The Pillows, Anime Expo had better not drop the ball. I demand Asian Kung-Fu Generation to round out the triad.
If this demand is not met, I have vowed to burn down the Anaheim Marriott, and I have Shin backing me up. We be representin the hood, and so on.

I spent a lot of time messing around in Photoshop today, and I came up with some really interesting results. I'm toying around with a new sort of style for rendering images.. It's very nice-looking, but I need to perfect it. Plus, the effect is always sort of different depending on the image. I'm hoping I can find a consistent sort of result through some alternative method. Sorry, there's nothing to scan this week, unless you want a crappy sketch-comic about teaching blind-deaf children how to speak and cheering up people in the old folks' home with Nazi jokes. I'm afraid that distributing that will result in some sort of e-lawsuit, so I'm not going to bother.

A bit of explaination for today's update title: While I'm on a creative roll with Photoshop and, occasionally, pencil drawings recently, I'm totally out of ideas for anything written. A few weeks back I had a proverbial backup of ideas in the plumbing pipes of my mind, but now I'm totally out. Whenever I'm putting a caption on a piece of art, or coming up with a title for something, the final choice is just a direct quote from whatever song I happen to be listening to at the moment. Case in point is this piece I did for art class today: It's a "distorted" silhouette of myself, with a heavy dark read tone to everything, and a bunch of clouds.
The quote? "We're chained," from a particular Pixies song (Bonus points: Name the song first). It has absolutely nothing to do with the picture. I just needed a quote, and the song was playing, so here I am.
Well, the ever-orgasmic Saturday night Adult Swim lineup is about to start, so I've gotta bail. Salutations.
Closing statement: Well that's just great. Microsoft Word isn't working. What's wrong with this computer now..?
