Paranormality
Comment Commentary
Karmi- y3s.
Shin- Dude.. That would be, like, a kickass band name, man.
James- Not protected AAC from the iTunes music store, apparently.. I tried today, and they're special "protected" files. It's frustrating, though I suppose I could just burn them onto audio CDs and re-rip them.

I realize I haven't been online very much for the past couple of days. I've been sort of busy, not that it's a bad thing.
Yesterday we went up to the mountains (Wrightwood, for you SoCal residents), sort of against my will. My goal was to simply rent GTA: San Andreas and worship it for the rest of the week, but that was not to be. We got all of our stuff on, and began the curvy, road-sickening trip up the mountain.
We brought one of my friends along, and we listened to music on my iPod on the way up. It still blows my mind how quickly the battery can drain. We had it on moderate volume with, for the most part, no backlight, the entire way up, and it was half-drained by the time we got out of the car. Madness, I say.
In all, it was quite fun. We mostly went up there for sledding, which was more hassling than its worth. This snow was really deep, and really flakey, and if you weren't careful you would sink three feet. This happened to me several times.. I suppose the worst one was when I was trying to cross this little creek, and I got stuck at a 45 degree angle right above the creek. I kind of had to do a split to avoid getting wet.. It wasn't pleasant, especially after the rigorous exercises of Phys Ed the past couple of days. Eventually my friend pulled me out, but my shoe remained in the hole. I got it out, but it was filled with snow.
And then we found a snow-sentient with eyes that pierced you very soul. We named him Jeffrey, and we tricked him out with a little snow-hat. Pimpin', man. Unfortunately, our little friend was quickly lost. Cause of death: Boot.
My dad decided to go down the slope once, and seriously jacked up his leg in the process. He had a big leg injury back in high school, and it's been fine since then, but something got zonked out when he crashed. This leads me to this morning, when he was unable to stand when getting out from bed. With no other way to get to school, I just got back in bed, and slept in. That's right, a day out of school. It sort of sucked, though, because I was looking forward to school today, for whatever reason.
Then I played the recently rented Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for a bit. So far, it's unimpressive. It's not the ghettoness that bothers me (though that's my friends major reason for disliking it), it's the gameplay. I'm still early in the game (I'm not out of Los Santos yet), but the missions are incredibly dull. The controls are crap, too. This just makes me want to play Devil May Cry 3 more, just for the gameplay.
And then I found my brain's thoughts rendered in gangsta mode. As in, everything my brain had to say was filled with poor grammar and ended in profanity. That wore off eventually.
My brother also bought The Sims 2: University, which I haven't played much. The gameplay tweaks don't seem that alluring (though I've always wanted to know how to combine households), but as with all Sims expansions, all I want is new clothing and items. I only had a second to play around with it, but there was a lot of stylin' clothing. For young adults, at least- I'm not sure if they added anything for any other age groups.
The field trip to the theme park until 3 AM is tomorrow, and I'm pleasantly excited. I've got my camera ready, along with many CDs (several freshly burned). I'm not bringing my iPod because I'm paranoid about losing it, which I think it sort of ironic. It's designed for portability, but I rarely take it anywhere. Odd, eh?
I'm not sure if I'll put any of the pictures on here or not. Most of them will probably be of my friends.. They're probably reserved for my Xanga. Sorry, guys. :P
I don't know what to ramble about for the 4,000th visit post. I now turn the microphone toward you, asking for rant ideas. 'Till then, I'm out.
Closing statement: The dreams of children are so easily tarnished. That's my brother, who fell flat on his face when trying to climb the mountain of hellishly powdery snow.
