What to do now.
Comment Commentary
Tony- I'll probably rent it sometime soon. Generally, I'm not the type to buy DVDs of movies I'm not that familiar with spontaneously.
Mimmi- It would probably collapse the universe on itself, leaving all of the main characters dead except for two and they have to repopulate the planet. And the last two episodes will totally confuse everybody and they'll have to make a movie.
Azure- I should do a before and after on that.
Shin- I remember for the longest time we were on year-round school.. Three week breaks spread throughout the year, with no real summer vacation. I liked that.
Alea- I think I've come close to perfecting that "style." You know, the cutout with the outline. I've been messing around with that for quite some time.
Tony- Wow, I'd appreciate that. Also, on the note of Digital Devil Database: I'll begin working on Demonary / Lexicon entries this weekend, if you can show me how you want the information to be organized. I'd like to get the groundwork of an article done, too.

Well.. Get out the party hats. It's time for another..
MANDATORY 1,000(x)TH CELEBRATION EXTRAGANZA UPDATE
*engages in celebratory activities*
And with such a celebration extravaganza, there always comes a..
MANDATORY 1,000(x)TH CELEBRATION EXTRAVAGANZA IMAGE
A bit subtle, and more high-brow.. But I like it. *strokes chin*
You'll never, ever be able to stop the chin-stroking. Try as you might, Godel.
Anyway.. Seriousness. Yes.
I've done two or three of these sort of updates before. I've been thinking about this one for a few days now, but the biggest challenge has been "What to rant about?" In past ones I've covered a good deal of stuff- my history on myOtaku, descriptions of my favorite mO members, and so on.. So I suppose the only thing I have left to do now is look forward to the future, and review what I've done recently that I've liked.
Keep in mind these are in no particular order.
THINGS I'VE CHANGED:
- More consistent updating. I can't remember if the Daily Posting Contest happened around el visito three-thousando, but I remember most of my updates back in the day being endless rambles about nothing at all (..more than now, I mean), and there wasn't a steady flow of them. I think that I've improved upon that. Of course, I'm still an incoherent rambling bastard with nothing important to say, but that's a moot point.
I think.
- Decent themes. I remember doing a new theme almost every week, because of some sort of horrifying fixation with Photoshop (again, more than now) and, dare I say it, Paint Shop Pro.
*ominous music*
I remember them all being really cool, but in retrospect, they all just sucked. Plain and simple. Though I'm still far away from anything respectable, I think I've come a-ways with that. At least people don't visit my site one day and go "Oh dear, did I make a typo? This isn't Sennen's site" and thus not comment.
Because I'm a comment whore, through and through.
- I've added some variety, mostly thanks to my scanner, which has bred many a confusing and irrelevant doodle.
But I still love them. They are my babies.
Now, for the things I'd like to do in the future. Prepare for a much longer list here.
- Find some way to cause AzureWolf physical pain. He deserves it.
- Make Shinmaru wear some damn pants instead of shorts. I'm telling you, it's madness, unless your legs are covered in Robin Williams-level fur.
- Find a way to shut up about Anime Expo. I swear, from mid-June to early August I don't talk about anything else. Maybe I'll make my heart set on having a crappy time this year, so I won't go on and on about it for ages.
- More comics, dammit. I just wish my sketches could keep up with my ideas, and I just wish my ideas could keep up with my relentlessly increasing standards. And maybe I could figure out a decent way to actually fix the comics in Photoshop, too.
Someday, old bean. Someday..
- Find more things to talk about. Other people seem to have a neverending flow of subjects.. Mine are kind of like TV Land: They're okay for a little while, but then you realize that you've seen it before. Ten times.
- Create the perfect myOtaku theme. Not just a decent one, mind you, but a freaking amazing, omnipotent unstoppable behemoth of Photoshopped wonder that nobody could trump. Because I'm power-hungry due to low self-esteem as a child.
- Oh, I'd also like to avoid misspellings of words like "omnisient" and stop using made-up words that I think are real, like "replicatable."
Wow, this is a cop-out. Must think of something else to do..
A top ten list of favorite things?
A bunch of quiz results from random sites?
A survey I got through an email?
No.. How about some 1337 speech.
Well, this was pointless. My dad's rushing me to get off soon. I have other things to talk about as well.

We took a field trip to the Museum of Tolerance yesterday, and I had a hard time tolerating it.
(Clever to the MAX.)
As important as the message of tolerance is, I can't handle having it drilled into my brain for five hours by an insane tour guide.
It was sort of funny, though. The tours are on timers, because most of it is short films and presentations, so if your tour guide finishes up early, he or she (or it), they have to stall until they can go into the next room. This happened to us several times..
The bus drives were dull and lonely. My friends shut me out (But not really) and I sat by myself most of the time (sort of by my own choice). I listened to the same two CDs over and over, and I fell asleep. Then I drew a fuzz-ball and some dorky Dante knockoff because I had Devil May Cry 3 on the brain.
Because I knew I was going to buy it later. My mom finally came back from Pittsburgh, which means several things:
a) Food.
b) Clothing.
c) Transportation.
Oh, and family togetherness, too. I guess. o_O
Anyway, I finally got a ride to Gamestop, and I bought it.
Compared to what people have been saying about it, it's not that hard yet. Sure, it took me six tries to beat the first real boss (Cerberus), but I've had much worse with Zelda games. The difficulty is probably going to increase exponentially by the end, though.
I suppose the "hardest" part is how, when you die, you automatically get sent back to the beginning of the mission. In some cases, this can mean going back a very long time, and that's a bad thing.
And yet, despite its frustrating qualities, it's amazing how satisfying I still feel playing it. The style system is awesome (Gunslingaz 4 Life, down with Trickster), and the coolness of the weapons is once again mind-boggling.
I mean.. Three-sided ice nunchaku? How cool is that?
I'll tell you how cool: Very.
Dante seems more annoying in this one, though. Seeing as he's 'younger' Dante, he's more excited and youthful and etc. That's not so bad, but when you watch a hardcore-cool cutscene, hearing Dante shout "Yeah! Woohoo! Hah!" in the background like a deeper-voiced Mario kind of kills the mood.
Nothing else to say today. I'd like to launch a formal complaint against myself for hyping such shit for two days.
Wow, self-loathing. Looks like some things never change, huh?
Closing statement: Alex, the "To Kill a Mockingbird" Flash you showed me the other day has become one of my friend's biggest addictions. Thanks to that, I practically have the entire thing memorized, word for word. I'm not sure if this is a positive or negative observation, but.. Thought you might want to know.
