...*twitch*
o.o' Doctors are as contradictory to each other as TV makes them out to be.

Okay, so today I got out of school to go to the Childrens' Medical Center in LA because of a referral regarding my Scoliosis. We got down there quickly enough- I got some good Mario and Luigi time in.

We got in there after 5 minutes of authorization.. There were a lot of disabled children in there. I, conciously, didn't expect that to happen. I was really caught off-guard. It's sad to see them.. Extremely pitiable. I don't think I'll ever laugh at Special Ed on Crank Yankers ever again.

Anyhoo, the process didn't take long. I had to hop around and bend over for them to examine the back (Yeah, back.. o.o I think they were secretly pedophiles..), and the doctor did the strangest thing.

He basically laughed like Woopi Goldberg in The Lion King at the results we got from a tissue sample from my chiropractor.. Apparently, he has never heard of vitamins to treat scoliosis, or even that scoliosis is caused by lack of nutrients to the tissues. He also, apparently, has spent 10 years studying pediatric back problems.

So. I don't have scoliosis by definition, which means that I don't have my back curved at over ten degrees.

..He wants us to come back in 6 months for another x-ray. "Cases like this tend to correct themselves." But, what if it worsens? Will the expensive, life-threatening surgery be required?

And even then, if I keep a healthy diet, my back will never really get that bad, and such surgery will never be necessary. Few and far between back pains are better than paralysis from back surgery.

Oh, and I changed my OB avatar and banner to a JTHM-ish thing. Wow, that banner has taken me over a month to do. I've had to restart it 3 times.. >_> I think it's worth it. And I'm going to add the full picture as a MyOtaku introduction picture.

I'm going to keep my Witch Hunter Robin avatar, though. I'm not giving that baby up for a while.
