...Ugh.
As some of you have heard from me, "Scrub Day" is supposedly every Friday the 13th at our school, when the 8th grade people are rumored to pummel any 7th grade people into total submission. I really hadn't worried about it that much until my friends received multiple threats from some random people whose names escape me at the moment. Ethan and Frankie were, apparently, not going to school today, but they ended up going anyway. My parents.. o_O Unplugged my alarm clock and kept me out of school.
I was planning on going, though. I had thought of ways to get around most likely scenarios, on the off-chance that something did in fact go down, but I ended up staying here. And I feel cowardly.
It was fun, though, today. I slept in until 11 to catch up on lost time and read Squee's Wonderful Giant Big Book of Unspeakable Horrors until noon when I ate some Trix and watched MadTV. It was good to just have a day to myself, and not feel rushed by the shortest 48 hours of the week (The weekend, of course).
I wonder what Frankie and Ethan will say, though. Frankie will probably call me a coward and ridicule me, and Ethan will probably be silently agitated. Or he may not care.
I'm getting very tired of math class. I don't know what my problem is, though. Up until the second trimester of this school year I have done nothing but get straight A's in math. Maybe it's the teacher's methods, or maybe I'm just too distracted by something, but I'm tired of getting C's on math quizzes.
Oh, what a rude awakening. :p
So now I have a four-day weekend ahead of me. What I'll do will probably go as follows:
-Talk to friends on the phone tonight
-Try to get to the mall tomorrow, but to no avail
-Sulk about it and whine on MyOtaku regarding how boring this weekend is
-Watch Saturday Night Live, get to bed at 1 AM
-Sleep in again, feel bad for not going to church for the 20th week in a row
-Play Metroid Prime nonstop until 11:34 PM on Sunday
-Do math homework that I "forgot" to do until 12:36 at night
