My hair's dropping out! :(
Well, my mum washed my hair on Monday, and it has really fallen out again! I@m not that bothered, it's that people are going to ask me about my hair and to do things with it because my hair is natural and curly with my black self. It's not permed, straightened or anything at all, because of all the stress and I'll be bald!
I so hate black people telling me what to do with my life!

Went to family therapy, and all they do is talk about me.
Me and my supposed 'double loss' of me grandma going to Jamaica and my dad being around less. I did feel like saying that I was in the room, but the atmosphere was more bright and nice afterwards. I did nothing all evening.

He he he.
Yes. Nice revelation. No one fucks with me. I am going to go on a little hunt and one head is going to roll. I'm so looking forward to it. I don't like being manipulated. I've had that done enough in my life before. ^^

Always nice to have someone piss you off
Yes, I'm pissed off because of someone. Ah well, they'll get it in the neck tomorrow *wields swords*... They probably won't see my post anyway, as they never visit my site *grins*

FAMILY THERAPY!
YES, AGAIN IT'S HAPPENING. I DON'T MIND, JUST AS LONG AS MY DAD DOESN'T WANT TO STAY FOR AGES. IN HIS OWN WORDS, HE HAS THE MONEY TO COME DOWN, BUT NOT TO GET BACK HOME UP NORTH IN ENGLAND... Ah well. My mum even asked if I wanted counselling myself, and I was indeed thinking about it. I just don't have to time now. My mum siad she thinks it would be good for me.

At school and not depressed!
It has been two weeks now, and I'm STILL not depressed! *jumps for joy* Also, although school's an unpleasant atmosphere, I'm just glad to be doing something! People may hate me, but I'm a lovely person! (You know that I'm fine if I love myself! XD)

A nice day with friends (and a friends' sister...)
Yes, it's a friends' birthday today, so I went to see a film 'Curse of the Golden Flower' or something like that. Then we had Nando's, which is a restaurant with lovely food.
The film was good, but I knew all the plotlines sadly, and no, I didn't even know the synopsis of the film! It was set 928 A.D. in China, and was about this family up in royalty. The carnage was to such a grand scale! It was pretty mad really! I didn't like the ending, as it left you knowing that the father was going to have his own way, and his wife was going to die sadly.
I love this song. The neediness and the sentiment! *smiles*
What do you think of it?

Looking nice makes me feel uncomfortable
I was wearing my favourite outfit: my waistcoat made by my mum, short-sleeved shirt, shorts, tights and high heels.
I went to a shop to get a t-shirt to decorate for a friend for her bday tomorrow, buy buttons, buy washing-up powder and get my high heels re-heeled.
I couldn't find buttons, but I got everything else. Men kept looking at me in that 'yeah yeah, I'd like a piece of that' look, and it just makes me want to go and run to the hills and come back down when ugly and sour-looking! I got my shoes re-heeled, and it was weird, because the man was kind, but blunt. I had to wait for 30 mins and it cost £6, so I went to the library. I went on the comp and got the second volume of 'Fushigi yugi' because it's just so hilarious. I came back and put the shoes on, and they don't even make the clip-clop sound! Yay! So my day has been good. I listened to my music and was dancing, or should I say prancing about, so I'm fully happy and not depressed! I do appreciate the sun being out! I'm such a summer girl, even though it's not summer!

A & R people
Today, I was sitting at the dining table with my mum, and I asked my mum "if I got famous, do you think the A & R would make me straighten my hair?" My hair isn't striaghtened or permed or anything, and it confuses me to why most black girls striaghten their hair, when it's fine the way it is.
My mum answered "If and when you get to America, they'll straighten it. Think of poor Corrine Bailey Rae!"
Before:
After:
She's a British singer/ songwriter, and she's from somewhere in the north of England, and once she made her debut in America, they straightened and curled it.
Now, I like my hair in its afro state, and people always say my hair is nice and stuff. I've never worn weave or anything. I just think it's mandatory and accepted and expected for black women to have weave in their hair and make it longer and stuff. I'm proud to have nice black hair. My mum says that when the black people from the Caribbean came over, white people called our hair 'problem hair', which is offensive, because it's so veratile in the things it can do.
What are your thoughts?
