   And how are you, Mr...Wilson?!
"My mother used to say to me, 'Elwood,' she'd say, she always called me Elwood. 'Elwood, In this life, you can be oh so smart, or oh so pleasant.' Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. And you may quote me."

- Elwood P. Dowd

   Weirdest Lyrics Awards...
You know the ones I'm talking about...the ones that come out of left feild at ten million miles per hour and leave you going, "Bzuh?", the ones that seem to have nothing, whatsoever, to do with the actual song? I am now accepting nominees for the prestigious award.

For my nomination, I have:

"I felt a little like a dyin' clown with a streak of Rin Tin Tin."
-The Who, Who Are You

Surely you can top that

   Mrs Arafat Needs My Help!!
From my email this morning:

Dear Friend,
This mail may not be surprising to you if you have been following
current
events in the international media with reference to the Middle East and
Palestine in particular. I am Mrs. Suha Arafat, the wife of Yasser
Arafat,
the Palestinian leader who died recently in
Paris. Since his death and even prior to the announcement, I have been
thrown into a state of antagonism, confusion, humiliation, frustration
and
hopelessness by the present leadership of the Palestinian Liberation
Organization and the new Prime Minister. I have even been subjected to
physical and psychological torture.

As a widow, that is so traumatized, I have lost confidence with
everybody in
the country at the moment. You must have heard over the media reports
on the
discovery of some fund in my husband secret bank account and companies
and
the allegations of some huge sums of money deposited by my husband in
my
name of which I have refuses to disclose or give up to the corrupt
Palestine
Government. In fact the total sum allegedly discovered by the
Government so
far is in the tune of about $6.5 Billion Dollars. And they are not
relenting
on their effort to make me poor for life.Hence my desire for a foreign
assistance. I have deposited the sum of $25 million dollars with a
security
firm abroad whose name is withheld for now until we open communication.

I shall be grateful if you could receive this fund into your bank
account
for safe keeping and any Investment opportunity. This arrangement is
known
to you and my personal Attorney. He might be dealing with you directly
for
security reasons as the case may be. In view of the above, if you are
willing to assist for our mutual benefits, we will have to negotiate on
your
Percentage share of the $25,000,000 that will be kept in your position
for a
while and invested in your name for my trust pending when my Daughter,
Zahwa, will come off age and take full responsibility of her Family
Estate/inheritance. Please note that this is a golden opportunity that
comes
once in life time and more so, if you are honest, I am going to entrust
more
funds in your care as this is one of the legacy we keep for our
children. In
case you don’t accept please do not let me out to the security and
international media as I am giving you this information in total trust
and
confidence I will greatly appreciate if you accept my proposal in good
faith. Please expedite action.

Yours sincerely,
Mrs.Suha Arafat

She needs my help! I think I'll hand my banking information over! I'll be rich when she's done!!!!1 Ha ha!

No, seriously, kids. Get anything like that? IGNORE IT. They will take your information and clean out your bank account.

Although it is fun to ridicule.

I can't explain just yet...
Heh. *Points and laughs* You all STILL don't know! HAHAHA!

*clears throat*

Ok, so it's not nice to laugh at those who are less fortunate...after all, you could search to the town's end before you figured out, despite the nice clues I put in the last post...

No music fans in that vast teenage wasteland? Alas, I must give you a hint...they're technically a part of my m-m-mom's g-g-generation...but she's not telling you who it is. :P

There were hints in there...and obviously you're not all deaf dumb and blind, or else using the computer would be awfully hard, wouldn't it?

Ok, ok. Enough of my geeky song references. And I always thought you kids were alright...*snerk*

Crash course in sixties music: it was revolutionary, unlike today's stuff which is just annoying.

One of the truly revolutionary bands were these English guys who first gained attention by...um...completely and utterly destroying the stage after they played. Heh.

ANYway, three of the guys in this band did the stage destruction bit...

But not this guy:

He would stand still and watch the other three, basically thinking..."Where did those IDIOTS come from??"

He never smashed his guitars. Never. Ever. Or did he...;)

Please tell me why the picture is funny now. You'd better be able to guess now...you'd better you'd better you'd bet...

Cuz I ain't telling. :P

On pruning and pictures...
Ok, first of all. As the title may imply, I am pruning my friends list. Do not be alarmed - I'm only removing the people who never comment, who haven't updated in two months, and things like that. If I have defriended you and you want put back on my List of 1337 c00lne55, just post that you would appreciate that. It's merely to make my backroom nice and pretty again.

[If you are a complete twit and go to some people on my friends list and see that I haven't deleted some people who haven't updated in a while, there are reasons: I talk to them over IM, they're my mother, they are Willow-who-will-remain-on-my-friends-list-until-the-sky-falls-due-to-overwhelming-coolness-despite-having-to-leave, etc.]

And the picture I will explain shortly. ^__^
