Well...not much to say again today...we have church tonight...It's Maunday Thursday, traditionally the day the Lord Jesus had the Last Supper and washed his disciples feet, so we have communion tonight. I love the meaning behind having communion, but the bread is really funny tasting...it tastes like cardboard mixed with cake-cones. Yuk.

Of Music Videos, Trigun, and Easter Candy
I have found the coolest website ever. It's Anime Music Videos. It's really neat, but our computer is SOOOOO slow that it takes FOREVER for the music videos to download...we're talking 20 minutes of downloading only gettin' 18 SECONDS of video. AAARGH! I'm going to have to get Thrush to pirate it or somethin'. Oh, Thrushy...JUST KIDDING! PIRACY IS WRONG! I WOULD NEVER ADVOCATE HACKING! PLEASE DON'T TRACK ME DOWN AND ARREST ME!

Off the subject, It's still 3 days until I get to see Trigun...maybe more, if you factor in the fact that we've got relatives coming from Philly for Easter. I don't really mind, that much, because we're going to spend the weekend at my grandparents, (Silver, Thrush and Me, anyway) and Friday we stay up late and watch disney movies, and Saturday we invade the flea market (HA ha HA! Fear US! WE ARE BAD AT THIS PLACE! Silver scared some poor kid by laughing in his face there...he thought it was our cousin for a minute!) in the morning, buy all the hot pretzels in the place, and spend the rest of the day at grandma's. Then Sunday we have two church services in the morning (traditional and contemporary) and then we go back to my grandma's for lunch.

Off the subject again, but every year we get older, Dad brings home MORE Easter candy than the year before. It's funny,really...most parents go gaa-gaa over Christmas stuff, but our dad does it with Easter. And while most parents get less and less candy as their kids get older, my dad gets more and more! Not that I'm complaining or anything, but last year we almost had enough candy to fill two easter baskets a piece! And we're not talking teeny-tiny baskets, either. These things are almost a foot in diameter, and about 5 inches deep. If you think about it, that's almost enough candy to last me a week!* Well, see you later!






* I have no self control when it comes to candy...it's like vash and his donuts...

Normal conversation in the 'Jones' household involving candy:

Ozy: CANDY!

Mom: Save some for tommorrow! You'll make yourself sick!

Ozy: WHO CARES? YUM! *Chomp, chomp, chomp...*

Ozy (next day) I'm out of candy! *Cries* Waaah!

Thrush *who, by some genetic fluke can save candy for MONTHS, and of course still has candy*: So what? Shouldn't have eaten it all yesterday, I'm not sharing!

Ozy: WAAAAH! I Need Sugar! NOW!

Ok, I was playing around on various websites, and found the midis for Rain, Fukai Mori, Gunpowder Tea and His and a whole bunch more....I am now in love with those songs! I put His as my music. Voila! Music from Ozy! I dunno, but this song just seemed to fit her...chaotic and obnoxious, yet cool. Perfect! It's Friday...I love Fridays. They are the days we 1. Get to visit my grandparents and 2. Pick up the Inuyasha tape from Grandparents...we don't have cable, so I have to tape it there. So Friday is our "stay up 'til 2 am watching anime" day...it's going to be even better when Trigun starts...Anime night will be twice as long! Hee hee! Momma ~ where is Rain from? I know it's from Cowboy Bebop, but is it a theme song? I really like it...it's happy yet somewhat melancholy at the same time. I wanted you to know I find your comments encouraging...I don't get out much, and you are always around to say hi. I'm glad you liked the pic...my mom gets that look on her face when SHE does the taxes...it's the one advantage I can see to NOT having a job. Well, got to go. C~ya!

Ok...I heard on the radio this morning that studies and surveys are proving that teens like their parents music better than, say, brittany spears. It took a few minutes for that to sink into my sleep-clogged brain, but then I thought... NO DUH! Adults had the Beatles, Elvis, Led Zepplin, Genesis, etc. etc. etc. Who do we get? Brittany Spears and Justin Timberlake. BLECH! But anyhoo...what will studies prove next? That water's wet? HELLO??? Sorry...I havn't ranted in a while. I found a good site, too, kinda like ob.Anime Chains It's really cool, but if you sign up because I told you about it, could you PLEASE put OzymandiusJones (one word) in the referrer space? I'm trying to get points. Thankies!

Q: Here's a question--who are your favorite anime characters, and what do you like about them? ~ Mamma Vash
A: Well, from what I've read so far, my favorite anime character would have to be Vash, because he tries so hard to be peaceful and it's backfired on him. It's backfired on him quite badly, and yet he still keeps trying. My other favorite characters are:
1. Ryoko from Tenchi, because she's hyper, destructive, and obnoxious, and doesn't apologize for the fact that she is all those things. 2. Mehoshi, also from Tenchi Muyo, 'cuz she's such a DITZ 3.Washu, ALSO from Tenchi, because she's very self-centered. 4. I like Inuyasha from Inuyasha, 'cuz he's arrogant, obnoxious and rude (translation: normal teenage guy) and he's so awkward with Kagome, but you can tell he's got a good heart, 5. Miroku, well, I'm not quite sure why I like him, I just do, and 6. Shippo, just because he's so cute.

Q: What was the first anime you watched?

A: I'm so ashamed...it was Pokemon. But then I discovered Digimon (much cooler), and then Tenchi, and I never went back to Pokemon...picaBob has never forgiven me.

Q: Who is Ozy Jones?

A: Ozymandius Jessica Unicorn Pheonix Alikane Mitsuri Aeglos Battersea Jones is the mixture of every single character I have ever created. Do not question Ozy. You will love Ozy! FEAR OZY! Oh, sorry...her species is based on the Pink Panther, and she's an insane universe-hopping, time-traveling troublemaker.

Q: Do you ever get weird looks?

A: All the time...why do you ask?

Q: No reason. Are Silver Falcon and Thrush Battersea really your brother and sister?

A: Yep. Silverus Gunsly Falcon Siberu Taka Groff Battersea Jones the Tenth and Thrush Kelebros Kalacirya Raonin Hoshikazu Reece Battersea Jones, aka "Darksbane", to give them both their full names...

Q: And do you get along ok?


A: Most of the time...there are moments when none of us like the other one, but most of our time is spent driving Mom (aka Marshmallow Badgermum) and Dad (Chief Ducky Minnihahayankayuey the Fuzzy One) up one side of the wall and down the other...

Q: Really?

A: No...Chief Minnihahayankayuey helps us with Badgermum....

Q: That's MEAN!

A: Not really...we're just joking. Badgermum only finds us annoying if she's really tired. And we don't pester if she's tired.

Q: And do they like anime?

A: NO! Dad's response to seeing a picture of Inuyasha is "Who's she?"...agh! Long hair does NOT mean you're a girl! And Mom's not big on TV in general.
