Animation from Gpetz.com
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
On the darkest night of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
~Robert Frost
Today's poem was not because I was lazy, but because Momma Vash said it was her favorite. It's by my favorite poet of all time, so I was happy to type it. The poem itself is called "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening". It's my third favorite Robert Frost poem, where as "The Road Not Taken" is my first favorite, and "Fire and Ice", which I will post tomorrow, is my second favorite. I also like Edgar Allen Poe, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Walt Whitman and T.S. Eliot, although I do NOT like T.S. Eliot's poem "The Wasteland". It's too depressing. Even though I like "The Raven", I do NOT like depressing poems. I DO like Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, which is really a book of cat poems. It's the best thing I ever read by T. S. Eliot. I found three more pictures to upload...an new Inuyasha picture, and original picture, and an "Original" that's not an original. It's actually from a manga I like, but that they don't have a catagory for it. Hopefully, those'll be up soon. And my two Big O pictures and one Fushigi Yugi picture got up yesterday afternoon. Yay!
