I found the lyrics for "Rain":

I don't feel a thing
And I stopped remembering
The days are just like moments turned to hours

Mother used to say
If you want, you'll find a way
Bet mother never danced through fire showers

Walk in the rain, in the rain, in the rain
I walk in the rain, in the rain.
Is it right or is it wrong,
And is it here that I belong?

I don't hear a sound,
Silent faces in the ground.
The quiet screams, but I refuse to listen.

If there is a hell,
I'm sure this is how it smells.
Wish this were a dream, but no, it isn't

Walk in the rain, in the rain, in the rain
I walk in the rain, in the rain.
Am I right or am I wrong,
And is it here that I belong?

Walk in the rain, in the rain, in the rain
I walk in the rain, in the rain.
Why do I feel so alone?
For some reason I think of home...

Now, could somebody PLEASE tell me where this is used? I know "Tank" is the opening theme, and I THINK the closing theme is "Real Folk Blues", but where does "Rain" fit in? I have yet to see a full episode of Cowboy Bebop...I can't tape three shows at once, and there is NO WAY that Cowboy Bebop would replace Inuyasha or Trigun, so Bebop is going to have to wait...

*WARNING: ABRUPT TOPIC SHIFT! WARNING! DANGER, WILL ROBINSON! DANGER! DANGER!!*

Did you know that the guy who did Spike's voice also was the voice for Roger Smith of Big O? That's pretty neat, 'cuz I love Roger's voice, and voice plays a big part in whether or not I like a character. If the voice doesn't fit the personality, the whole character doesn't work for me.

Take Vash for example. He's my favorite anime character, and I love his voice. "Why?" you may ask, "He WHINES!!!" Yep. That's the point. The actor who does his voice (I can't remember his name, but he's definatly redeemed himself from being a Power Ranger) is very versatile. We have whiney Vash (Oh, I was SO sure it would work out this time! She was a real cutie...but I don't WANNA go to jail...this one will probably be blamed on me too...aw, man...!), Fakey-Bishonen-Vash (My bullets are known for never missing their mark...ecspecially if it's the heart of a beautiful lady...), High-Pitched-Insane Vash (You know, when he's laughing hysterically), Drunk Vash (Gimme back my gun, gramma! *Kuthud* What happened? I dunno, all of a sudden mah head jus' started t' hurt...) and (my personal favorite) the Completly-Normal-Caring Vash...Like whan he was talking to the guys who got hurt in "Love and Guns". The guy who plays Vash is VERY versitile. Also, an interesting peice of information is that the lady who did the voice for Milly also did the voice for R. Dorothy in Big O. From Ditzy-Pudding-Fiend to Emotionless Andriod in ten easy lessons...

Also, many of my favorite characters from Inuyasha have wonderful voices for their personalities: Inuyasha himself has a fairly whiney, antagonistic, tough guy voice, but when he's talking to Kikyo or Kagome in some episodes, he's voice softens until it sounds tender and not-so-sure of himself.

Koga also has a voice that we shall just describe as "cool" and leave it at that. Miroku's voice is perfect for a young, girl-crazed well...whatever he is. And Thrush would slug me if she thought I was forgetting Sesshomaru and his oil-smooth voice.

Now, however, this voice obsession of mine does have a downside: I have trouble imagining a character doing anything until I've heard the characters voice. "Why is this a problem?" you ask? Well...I'm trying to write a Trigun fanfic, and I have only heard three or four lines from Wolfwood. I could work with THAT, but enter Bad Guys and we have a problem. I have not heard a single word from either Knives or everyone's favorite psycho, the infamous Legato Bluesummers. And that, my friends, is why the writing of "Dice the Tornado" has hit a snag....

...However, that will be remidied in a few weeks, and then watch out for some seriously weird fan-fictions...Erhem, sorry, just had to advertise upcoming events. And believe it or not, these are going to be stories...back story, description, and NOT written like a script. Hence why it's TAKING ME SO LONG!!!! *fantasizes about selling Muse on Ebay...Muse, who looks alarmingly like a cat, merely ignores* Sorry. Well, I have to go.

Later,
~Ozy J.

P.S. Has anyone read Akiko? If not, I'll tell you about it soon. Anime Marathon Night Tonight! Four episodes of Trigun, and four of Inuyasha! And Nicholaus Wolfwood! YAY!
