You like me... you really like me!

Wow, I got 6 comments last time... that's actually pretty high by my standards. Tohma, don't be guilty, but feel perfectly free to shoot my mother; Silver Shadows, she has many problems, what are you expecting, she's related to me for god's sake; Phedre, the public library is like 5 miles away on the absolute other end of town and the computers there are slow as frozen dirt in a school zone, plus I'm paranoid and can't stand to be online in public. Yeah, I think I addressed all the issues. I hope I did... o_O

Today my English teacher held me in after class (and I nearly missed the bus, but that's neither here nor there) to tell me that in 11 years of teaching I'm the best writer I've ever had in her classes, and that there's probably nothing more she can teach me... and I'm all like, o_O; okay...? Can I go now? XD I'm getting tired of being told how great I am because so many people think this kind of stuff actually matters to me. It doesn't. I know from experience what the real world's like and I just don't care about school and stuff after all I've been through. It's the same with my mom... the whole reason she's taking my computer time is because she wants me to study for that god-forsaken spelling bee but I really don't care whether I win or not. The fact that I've gotten as far as I have (and this is true in school, too) is merely chance. I'm not trying to be the best. It just happens.

Oh, speaking of which, the 4,500 word book they give us to study for the spelling bee has some interesting words... namely, "pagan", "Lethean", "bonbon" (looooong story, if you know my first name you'll get it), and "sukiyaki" (yum!). It's pretty bizzare, it's like they're watching me or something... o_O

Holy jesus, was this post long enough for you? Unlike Tohma, who left us with a stupid 4-line post. ><
