Panda Feels Very Loved Today.
Panda's Love Bamboo!
Knowing that I was feeling bad I got a very sweet get well message from my dear friend Kevin. You totally rock Kev, I love you much. It makes me happy to get all those get well wishes from you guys. I really mean it. Having to battle this stupid disease is very taxing on the spirits. There really are days I want to give up. The well wishes from friends reminds me of why I keep fighting. I really do love all of you. Thanks. ::huggles everyone::
Now, on top of that today I got a phone call from Dan Woren. If you don't know who he is, you are going to get schooled by a Panda right now. Dan is one of my favorite voice actors. One of his numerous roles include Roy Fokker in Robotech. As you know I am a huge Robotech fan. Robotech is celebrating it's 20th anniversary this year and I am VERY excited that they are doing a Robocon during Anime Expo this year! Robocon is a Robotech convention for those of you who don't know.
Getting back on track...Dan gave me that panda in the first picture. Is that totally cool or what. I decided to take a picture of my newest panda along with some bamboo so he would know it's well taken care of. ^_^ I will have an interview with Dan posted on the site soon. I am currently putting the finishing touches on it. Hopefully I will have a little something extra with this interview I didn't have with my other interviews. Now, did I get all you thinking of what that could be? I guess you will just have to wait and see what surprises a panda has in store for you!
Special Robotech bishie break!
Roy Fokker!
In case you can't read the writing it is a message Dan wrote on the picture for me. It says: "Thanx Panda, That was some great pineapple salad...but don't tell Claudia! Love, Roy" For those of you who remember Robotech, Roy dies at Claudia's place while she is fixing her special pineapple salad. So amongst the Robotech geeks, such as myself, there are many jokes about killer pineapple salad. lol
Oh just in case you guys didn't see it my review of Sakura-con along with my photo album is posted on the site. Check it out! Great pictures so be sure to check them out. For all you rabid Full Metal Alchemist fan girls, be jealous, I got my picture taken with Travis Willingham aka Roy Mustang! ::insert fan girl squeel:: Needless to say Sakura-con for me was a weekend filled with Roys. Roy Fokker and Roy Mustang. How strange. lol
Anywho, I should get going. I love you all and hope you are all having a great week. I'll let you guys know when my interview with Dan is posted. Laters!

Sleepy Head Panda
I am finally starting to feel better but I am still feeling completely drained of energy. I went to the doctor today and had to have a few gallons of blood drawn. Hopefully I am not anemic from the chemo, that would suck. Bah, they should just put in a tap instead of the blood draws! Needles, bah! Anywho, I am trying to get back in the groove here on theO. I did make it through the newest guestbook entries but still need to address the PMs.
I love you all and appreciate your well wishes, you guys rock. I will hopefully be making the rounds to all your sites in the next couple of days. Laters all!

Horton Hears A...
Panda?
Horton may have been able to hear a Who, but I bet he didn't expect a surprise panda aerial attack!
So, RA is like the weather here in my hometown...nasty. I am hoping to be back to my normal schedule soon. Just need to get over this flare up. I love you all! Laters!

Got Plushies?
I am having a bad Rheumatoid flare up tonight. I will leave you with this question. In the picture above, taken at Sakura-con, how many of the plushies can you name? Good luck!

::Insert Witty Subject Title::
Tare Panda!!
I am still trying to catch up on my sleep. I am starting to feel better. A perk to going to the con was that it has helped me get over that insomnia I was dealing with. Now at 10 pm I am ready for bed and I stay asleep until morning. It is great! Now I just have to get rid of this nasty cough and sore throat! ::cough, cough::
I can at least give a bit of an update on my blog today. I met some really wonderful people at Sakura-con who are now members of theO (I'm lookin' at you islandergirlro!) and had just an amazing time. It's been a while since I had this much fun at a convention. It makes me think back to the first time I went to Anime Expo...the energy was about the same. Very cool indeed.
Rochelle, the Tare Panda she gave me and, of course, me!
Rochelle, Anne and I had a great time keeping those Harmony Gold guys in line and out of trouble! You two girls totally rock! I was really impressed by the amount of work these girls put into taking care of the Guests of Honor for the con AND taking care of me and John! They were Guest Liaisons and in charge of making sure the Guests of Honor make it to where they need to be and are generally taken care of. I pretty much followed them around like a lost puppy...er...panda! Thanks again girls, you're the best!
John drawing a puppy while Anne looks on.
Be sure to check out the little write up about the Consulate General of Japan I posted on the front page of theO. The picture is of the Consul General and yours truly. It really was an honor to meet him. Check out the write up when you get the chance.
Well, I need to get to work. I love you all. I should have the interview with Dan up in the next couple of days. I'll let you know when it is posted. I will also get back to all the PMs and guestbook signings as soon as I get caught up. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about you guys! Laters all!

I am back home but unfortunately...
I'm dead.
It has been a whirl-wind weekend for this bear. As you all know John and I went to Seattle to Sakura-con which was incredibly fun. I've got tons of stuff to tell you guys and several articles to write up. We got back on Sunday night and pretty much just crashed. Monday morning we got up before 6 am and back on the road again to drive my dad to Spokane (the other side of the state from Seattle) for a surgery appointment. Needless to say we are both dead tired and my RA is letting me know that I over exerted myself this weekend. ::Phew!::
I did want to give a very special thank you to three very special guys to me. Because of them I had a great weekend filled with lots of great memories including an inside joke concerning asparagus.
(L to R) Harmony Gold Creative Director Tommy Yune, Voice Actor Dan Woren, Harmony Gold Operations Coordinator Kevin McKeever
My weekend wouldn't have been nearly as fun without you guys. I am very much looking forward to seeing you again very soon. You guys rock!
Well, I am very, VERY tired and sore so I am going to get some rest. Unfortunately for me I think I am coming down with a cold. Sore throat and cough...of course it could just be from talking non-stop for the entire weekend! I will have some great articles, amazing pictures and a wonderful interview with Dan finished up soon. ^_^ Off to bed for me. Laters!

I just need to say...
Yesterday's picture post was just supposed to be taken at face value. It's a bunny with toilet paper on it's head. Some Guy got it right, this bunny is pretty famous for his ability to sit still while strange things are balanced on his head. You may have seen the bunny with the pancake...this is him, just with toilet paper. There was no deeper meaning. Nothing more to be gained from it but a chuckle. I do appreciate the concern, I just thought it was a cute picture I thought I would post since I am busy trying to get ready for Sakura-con.
Speaking of which I want you to all know that I will be away for a few days so don't worry if I don't update everyday. I am pretty much ready to go. I am having a little get together in with some of my friends so if you are going to Sakura-con feel free to stop by! You can track me down by going to any of the panels dealing with Harmony Gold or their booth. They will know where I am. ^_^
I really don't have much to report today so I will leave you all with this...
Well, hope you all have a great weekend. I will fill you all in about Sakura-con when I get home. Love you all and I will chat with you guys later. Hopefully I will survive the weekend. >_<;;
Laters all!

I really should go to bed.
I'm Dead.
No wait...
I'm Alive!
No, I take that back...
I'm Dead.
It is very early and I am still working on odds and ends that I need/want to get done before Thursday since that is when I am leaving for Sakura-con. I got the interview questions all done but I still need to get all the laundry done and make sure I have everything packed and ready to go. Stuff like the cameras, video recorder, tape recorder, batteries, cables...all that stuff.
I think I need to have a nice, cute bishie break...
Roy and Black Hayate!
What a cute pup! I get to see Travis Willingham the voice actor for Roy Mustang from Full Metal Alchemist this weekend. I am hoping to get an interview with him for the site. ::crosses fingers:: I know for sure I have some other interviews lined up and will be hanging out with the guys from Harmony Gold. Why them, because they love me and know I rock. ::strikes rock star pose::
Now your question of the day:
What are you wearing right now?!
I am currently wearing one of my many pairs of flannel panda pajamas. It's light green in color and has pandas and bamboo all over. It's 3:35 am, there is nothing wrong with wearing pjs at this time!
Ah, I have instantly become very tired. I must bid you ado. Hope you are all having a great week and don't forget you guys rock! Love you guys much. Your support out weighs all the negatives in my life and you are what keeps me going. ::huggles::
Off to bed for this bear and in the morning (later in the morning I mean) I will make the rounds to sites, respond to PM's and guest book signings. Packing can wait for a little while...I still have Wednesday to get everything. Why do today what you can put off 'til tomorrow! ~_^

So far behind...
Arrrgh!
I'm back! The sky is clear and the sun is shining, this means that my RA is not as mean to my joints. The flare up in my wrists is finally starting to go away, just in time for me to try to finish up my interview questions for Sakura-con which is this weekend. I am cutting it close huh. I hate being this far behind. I guess I will just have to wing it when it comes to my interviews. I really hate having RA. >_<;;
Again, I must say that I currently feel like Xiaomay here:
Arrrgh!
As I write this I am also working on three different lists of questions for interviews. My brain is going to explode. I think the worst part is that while I was having my flare up I started to think of questions but couldn't write since I hurt so bad. It's like being trapped in your body and not being able to communicate. Very frustrating. Arrrgh!
No bishie break today but I am going to share this picture since I thought it was funny.
Poor Al
Your question of the day. Let's see how observant you really are! Main character, bit part, just in the background -- it doesn't matter -- I want you to name me as many manga, anime series or movies that have pandas in them BESIDES these:
Full Metal Alchemist (Xiaomay)
Azumanga Daioh (Chiyo-chan and Osaka's drawings)
Ranma 1/2 (Scribble Panda and Genma)
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi (Hong Kong Arcade Kung-Fu master)
Excel Saga (Mecha "Pandas are cute!" Panda)
.hack//Legend of the Twilight (Pan-da...it's bread)
Gravitation (Reiji's Mecha Panda of Love)
Robotech (2 year old girl's bear that gets blown up)
Macross (same as above)
Panda! Go, Panda! (self explanatory)
Panda-Z: The Robonimation (more mecha pandas)
Hamtaro (panda wanna be hamster)
FLCL (honorable mention for mentioning a panda)
I'm sure there are tons more but my brain is not working. You get points for "honorable mentions" such as the one in FLCL where pandas are just mentioned. Well, let's see what you guys can think of!
Be sure to check out my newest wallpapers I uploaded to the site. I work on wallpapers while I think of interview questions. If I just try to think of questions I end up with writer's block. Speaking of which I really should get back to work. I love you all and appreciate all the get well wishes. You guys rock my socks. I promise to make the rounds to all your sites as soon as I catch up on my work. ::huggles::
