Burn Baby Burn.
Panda Inferno!!
So kids, I have a funny to share with you. As you know, I am very, VERY much against people who steal other peoples work and submit it as their own. Being someone who makes her own wallpapers I find it very offensive when someone steals work. Well, today as I was approving wallpapers I came across a bunch of wallpapers submitted by a member that all had animewallpapers.com and a few other misc. wallpaper site watermarks on them. I sent them a PM...
I thought it wasn't too over the top. I didn't call the person a thief or loser for stealing wallpapers or anything, just asked for screen names to verify they are the actual creator of those papers by checking with the site admins from those sites. If they are then I figured they wouldn't have a problem with proving they are the creator of the papers. Well, here is the person's response in my guestbook of all places.
I like the very mature response of calling me a "fucking bitch". What I like even more is this person's friend tries to cover for them and take responsibility upon themselves saying that their friend didn't know I was staff. If you look at the PM it clearly states that I am an "Administrator" right after my member name. They could have also used the link in the PM to come to my site, which they obviously did to sign the guestbook and see that in my profile it says I am staff on the site. There are also my press releases and interviews I do for the site. Plus, why would someone who is NOT staff be approving wallpapers?!? DUH!!!!
Obviously there is only one thing to say about his person...
Perhaps this image is correct about that person.
Anywho, I just figured that you guys would get a kick out of how this person dealt with me calling them out on their submissions. I already sent Adam an email about this. I wonder when he contacts this person if they will cuss at him too even though he IS the site founder. LOL
Now I don't want any of you guys to do anything silly like flame this person. If you want to help me you can tell me if the wallpapers they do have on their account are actually theirs or if they are taken from other sites as well. Obviously this person is not going to own up to the wallpapers. It's sad, if it really is this person's work they really should just say it is their work. The response I received makes me think they are stolen...perhaps I hit a sore spot.
Now, my bishie break:
Need I say more.
Ok, now that I aired out my dirty laundry I will move on the the few questions I got yesterday. Very good by the way. I had much fun trying to think of answers. Let's get on to business now.
Seto Kaiba Freak: Least favorite Saiyuki villain and why?
Nii Jyeni. Freaky creepy bunny loon. Just the way he carries himself...always with the bunny that really makes me wonder if he is a Plushie. Plushies are a segment of the Furry Fandom. Some Plushies do more with their Plushies than just sleep with them. >_<;;
the fizz: Which would you eat: chocolate covered ants or candy cover cockroaches?
Chocolate...yummy.
I would definitely eat chocolate covered ants. I have been told they are pretty tasty. Cockroaches just seem to "buggy" for me. Ants > Cockroaches.
626 or 627? & What and Why?!?
Oh a Mazda 626 would be great!
626 since it is a palindrome. What is a palindrome, it is a word, phrase, verse or sentence that reads the same forward and back. For example: A rash self-warning: I sign in raw flesh, Sara!
Go on, you know you want to write that sentence backwards, it's the same . The punctuation is just there to make it easier to read. Take that out and you're good to go. Oh and the Mazda 626 would be nice too. ~_^
YueMoon: What was the greatest time in your whole life when u were 14 years old?
Damn you Penicillin!!
When I was 14 the greatest time in my life was surviving a major allergic reaction to Penicillin. I missed 2 months of school, ended up in the hospital, had the Reverend for my church stop by and talk to me about Heaven (nothing gives you hope when you feel like you are getting the "Last Rites" @_@) and ended up with a funky purple rash. Getting back to being healthy was the best thing that happened to me when I was 14.
What are the lyrics to Rainbow - Ayumi Hamasaki?
She has gorgeous eyes...I'm jealous.
Lalala...
Dokokara ka yasashiku hibiku
Itsudatte kikoeteta you na
Sugu soba ni atta nukumori
Yurusu koto de yurusareteta

No rain can't get the rainbow
No rain can't get the rainbow
No rain can't get the rainbow
MiasmaMoon: Would you rather live your whole life without John or pandas?
Pilot or Panda...what a choice.
I would rather spend my whole life without pandas. I would be lost without John. He really is my soul mate. Plus, I doubt any other guy out there would be able to put up with me as well as he does! John > Pandas.
Summoner Rekka: Star Wars? or Star Trek (the next generation)?
The force is with me.
Star Wars...the original three, not the new stuff. I am old school when it comes to my Star Wars. As for Star Trek. I am not a Trekkie. John is though. It just isn't my bag baby.
Mew Wem: How are the main characters (Heathcliff/Cathering) developed in the first 3 chapters of the book Wuthering Heights?
Oh, I am so torn by desire!
Ok, let me see if I can remember anything from waaay back in the day when I read WH. In the beginning we have Lockwood who is the narrator. He is visiting Heathcliff when he becomes more interested in Heathcliff's past after a supernatural happening. He then asks a servant who use to work/live at WH to tell the story of Heathcliff and Catherine. You start out with the end of the story and learn more about the characters as the past is revealed. The beginning chapters set up the dark and brooding mood of the entire story line. The "ghosts" that haunt characters all builds to the characters personalities in which they deal with their "demons".
I know this was kinda broad and vague but it has been a long time since I read the novel so I am not sure what exactly happens in the first 3 chapters. Doesn't Catherine have a diary that sheds light on her personality? I am not sure when that shows up. Or is that a false memory? I don't know. Hope that kinda answers the question.
Well, that just about does it. Phew! Lots of typing for today's post. I plan on getting some rest and then making the rounds to everyones sites. I love you all and hope you are having a great weekend. Laters!

Sing Like A Panda.
I dedicate this to all my friends on theO.
Open Up Your Mind
Even when it seems that nothing can go right
and you want to just give up,
if you close your eyes,
you can see the world from your heart.
In this world when life can be so tough
You must be strong
Just believe in yourself and don't you fear
So open up your mind and close your eyes
Take another look from the other side
Even on a lonely night, when you wander afraid,
you may be alone now, but
your feet can take you however far you want to go, so
Just hold on tight, because if you close your eyes,
look inside yourself, there's a shining light there.
Yes, I want you to believe in everything.
You can take another look from the other side
Just hold on tight, even if your heart is breaking.
Reach into your soul, even if you can't see tomorrow.
Yes, if you have the strength to live,
You can take another look from the other side,
until you find all that is love...
I wish for you to have the strength
to make it through this world,
so open up your mind,
and you'll be able to see...
Just remember you are not alone
So don't you fear
Even though you're miles away
I'm by your side
So open up your mind and close your eyes
I'll be there for you no matter where you are
The stars may live for a long time, but that doesn't mean
that the same days will repeat over and over forever.
Noone can see into tomorrow.
Just hold on tight, because if you close your eyes,
look inside yourself, you'll feel a heartbeat.
Yes, I want you to believe in the future.
You can take another look from the other side.
Just hold on tight, even if your heart is breaking.
Reach into your soul, even if you can't see tomorrow.
Yes, there's another world out there.
You can take another look from the other side,
and you'll be able to find all that is love...
Just hold on tight, because if you close your eyes,
look inside yourself, you'll feel a heartbeat.
Yes, I want you to believe in the "future."
You can take another look from the other side
Just hold on tight, even if your heart is breaking.
Reach into your soul, even if you can't see tomorrow.
Yes, there's another world out there.
You can take another look from the other side,
until you find all that is love...
-----
The song is from Saiyuki and I did just put the translated lyrics up since I am sure it would mean more to you if you actually knew what the words meant versus the Japanese lyrics. I am sorry I haven't been by to visit your sites. I know some of you have been going through some rough patches. I just want to make sure you know that you are in my thoughts and I haven't forgotten about you.
Your question of the day is going to be a Q & A session. I figured you guys like it when I do that so I will pull out my images files and see what pictures I can post along with your questions. Make sure that the questions are good ones...I love it when you guys try to stump me. ~_^
Oh, check out the banner I just made for OB member Test. Be sure to join Test's Save the Pandas club on the OB too!
I love you all and I look forward to your questions. Laters all!

I'm Gonna Rock Your World.
Come dance with me!
My day was a bit on the boring side. John stayed home from work dealing with the tail end of his cold. He actually updated his site so go check it out. He has been really Jonesin' to go on more roller coasters. If you are a roller coaster fan be sure to stop by and give a list of your favorite coasters. Hey, maybe someday we will be at a park with a coaster and YOU can go with him on the rides. Panda + Roller Coaster = Sick. Be sure to stop by his site today as you make the rounds.
I also wanted to give a special shout out to my beefy burrito of manhood James for his recent updates. Speaking of S&M and Man-Faye in the same posts is truly something only a man who is comfortable in his sexuality would do. I just think it is hilarious that some people actually believed that you and Adam were going to change theOtaku to an S&M site. I guess you could keep the site name theO...just change the meaning of the "O". If you don't get that, you will when you are older.
For your viewing pleasure a very special bishie break inspired by James:
Man-Faye!
Ah, now try to get that image out of your head! Be sure to stop by and let James know he is to thank for giving me the inspiration to post that Man-Faye picture again. ~_^
Let's have a question. Something simple today since I have been giving you progressively more bizarre questions. To start off my question of the day I would like to start with a quote from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome: "Two men enter, one man leaves!" Your question for today is: If you were to pick two members from theO to battle in the Big Steel Cage of Prizes (we all know we wouldn't want to kill each other here, so let's just say the winner gets a wonderful prize of their dreams)...who would you like to see duke it out? Who would you put your money on?
VS
James VS Mimmi
Can the coolness of James prevail over the kindness of Mimmi? I think this would be a tough one. Of course with wonderful prizes to be had I would put my money on Mimmi. Why Mimmi, simple, cute always wins. Nothing in the world is more powerful than being cute...and we all know that Mimmi is uber-cute. There is absolutely no way that James could defeat her. My money is on the Sweetness from Sweden -- Mimmi!
"Bust a deal, spin the wheel!" -- What can I say, I have that entire Thunderdome movie memorized. Why you ask, I have no idea.
Well, I have spent the good portion of today getting screen captures from different animes to make new greetings so be sure to check out the latest ones to my greeting card collection. I love you all and hope you are all having a groovy day. Laters kids!

Just a question for today.
Mwahahaha!!
I am glad you all like the bizarre turn my question of the day took yesterday. I decided you all needed a change from the norm. Not much to talk about today since I spent most of it at the doctor's office waiting to get my blood drawn for tests. So I am going to leave you with just the question of the day.
Would your rather live in a world that...
everyone spoke like a poorly dubbed Chinese Kung-Fu movie
OR
all the scenery looked like a Salvador Dali painting?
I would like to live in the Salvador Dali painting since it would be so flippin' freaky. Melting clocks, mutant circus coming to town, bizarre human-esque scuptures that float on their own...it would be such a trip! Plus, I think the terrible VA of poorly dubbed Chinese Kung-Fu movies drives me batty. Mouth moving, words not matching up, terrible over the top declarations of honor and revenge...bah, that would just get old and boring. But the Dali world...strange things all the time, it would definitely never get boring.
Take care all and I will visit with you all soon.

Super quick update!
lu la lu...
Quick update on the status of your missing Panda. John has given me his cold. I have a sore throat and can't stop sneezing. John keeps my score and tells me when I have bowled a perfect game. For those of you who don't get that joke read back a few days in my blog and you will see my question of the day about sneezing a bowling strike or burping a gong. Bah, I am wandering. I have basically spent today watching Azumanga Daioh with John. He is still sick but not as bad as when he got home.
For him I am going to have a special Azumanga Daioh break instead of my typical bishie break.
Osaka watching the "floaters".
Question of the day. Would you rather....
Be slowly beaten to death with a very small wooden mallet...
OR
Consume Kleenex (facial tissue) until you die?
I would rather be beaten to death with a small wooden mallet. In hopes that I would have a blow to the head that would kill me instantly. I wouldn't want to eat Kleenex til I died. That just seems really dry and papery. Bleh!
What can I say, I am in an Osaka mood right now.
Well, I best take my meds and get some rest. I love you all and hope you are all doing better than I am. I will try to get back to visiting your sites soon. I just need to get better. Later kids!

Happy Panda...kinda.
John came home $250+ on the trip!
Ok, I want to get this video slot machine! John said when you get pandas all the way across (which is the jackpot) the pandas on the screen roll around waving their arms and legs in a happiness! He said that these machines were the most popular and there were always people playing the Panda Pays machines. ^_^ Everyone loves pandas...especially ones that pay!
John is finally home, unfortunately he is really sick. I am guessing it is lack of sleep, second hand smoke and too much Vegas. He has a terrible cough and says he feels like he has been smoking! All of his stuff smells like an ashtray. ewwww. He is happy that he did come home with over $250 more than he left with. He was able to buy gifts for our family, go on some roller coasters (he got a great picture on the roller coaster at New York, New York), see Blue Man Group, meals, snacks, drinks (probably too many!), transportation around Vegas and of course-- gambling. He got a lot of stuff AND came home with money. So financial it was a good trip, physically it was a bad trip.
I am going to be away from myO for a little bit to take care of John and work on the interview with Wendee Lee. If you need to get ahold of me please email me. Seeing how John always takes care of me it is about time I return the favor. For once I am in better shape than he is!

To master the technique...
you must bow down to the Panda!
I figured I would start out with an Abenobashi quote since the new hub for Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi opened up on theOtaku. ^_^ The submissions for questions to Ms. Lee are now closed. It's going to take me a bit to get through them all. Sort out all the doubles (dozens) of same questions and pick out some good ones to ask. I am not sure if people actually read what I wrote about the question submissions. Some people asked multiple questions, some asked questions that could easily be Googled...you know, stuff like "What character did you play in ____?" and some people made responses like she (Ms. Lee) was going to answer every single question asked...even when I wrote that selected questions would be picked. Oh bother.
Instead of the typical bishie break I am going to have an Azumanga Daioh break!
Osaka and Chiyo-chan!
Now for your question of the day! Yet another "Would you rather question" since I had some great responses to the last one I decided to do another one. ^_^ Would you rather...
be able to converse with the dead but have to converse solely in jive?
OR
have a "Save Game" function for your life?
I would definitely want to have the save game function. I could save and then if something didn't work out (visualize GTA games...ie WASTED) I could just restart where I last saved! That would so rock. You could try out a career path, ask that person you have a crush on out, try stealing every single Chocolate Cream Pie in your hometown...if it doesn't work out you can just start over! That would be too cool!
Of course being able to talk jive to dead people would be pretty rad too...I am going to stick with the Save Game function for my life. ^_^
I guess that is about it for today. I am off to get some rest. I feel completely worn out. I will probably have to go see my doctor. I bet it is my chemo that is sucking the life from me. I love you all and hope you are having a great week. Laters!

I'm so sleepy...
I'm tired.
I am so sleepy! I haven't been sleeping well since John isn't home. It just doesn't feel right without him here. I did visit with him and he was done with his seminar and was on his way to the New York, New York Hotel/Casino to ride the roller coaster. He loves roller coasters so he should have a great time. I am not a fan of roller coasters...you can ask TheMouse about getting me to go on Space Mountain at Disney World when we all went on vacation. Roller coasters and Panda do not go together. >_<;;
Now before I go any further...
Happy Birthday March Babies!
You wouldn't think I would forget your birthday shout out now do you?! I hope all of you celebrating birthdays this month have a great one! Happy Birthday! ::huggles::
I did get the new list of March anime and gaming conventions posted on the front page of theOtaku. I also finished up an interview for the site. Be sure to check it out. I interviewed voice actor Vic Mignogna. Vic is a really cool guy who is incredibly busy so it really was a miracle that I got the interview him. So far response has been good. Let me know what you think! Oh, and remember, only one more day before I close the submissions for asking Wendee Lee your questions. Let's take a bishie break!
My bishie break today goes with my latest interview!
Phantom Dark!
Now, your question of the day. You have to choose one of the following two...no other choices. Which would you rather....
Belch the sound of a gong?
OR
Sneeze the sound of a bowling strike?
I would choose to belch the sound of a gong. Why that one. I don't burp that often. I am one of those rare people who can't make myself burp. I have even asked John to explain how to do it and I still can't make myself burp. Seeing how that would be far less embarrassing to burp a gong than sneeze a strike. You can't always control when and where you sneeze...but belching there is more control. Thus, I choose the gong.
Now which to do you choose...the gong or the bowling strike? Choose your fate!
I am off to get some rest. I've been a busy bee...er...Panda. Thanks for all you patience with me. I am sorry I haven't been making the rounds. As soon as I catch up on my sleep I will make it my number one priority to visit everyone. Know that I do read all your comments. I appreciate and love each and every one of you. You guys rock my socks and I would be totally lost without you. ::huggles::
Ed is sad. He wants you to read the interview!
Don't forget to read my latest interview with Vic Mignogna. Go now, read, comment, vote...let me know that I am a groovy gal and worthy of being an Otaku. ~_^
