Rum and Monkey to the rescue!

Today was really fruity.

I got out of bed really late because my alarm clock has broken and I cannot afford a new one at the moment.

I feel unusual because my antidepressants are making me hairy.

Last night I had to go and pay Joshua's bail. He's such a jerk. He got arrested for punching the Walmart clerk in the face for refusing to sell him beer. He's only 16!

I want to tell the world that I love you all! You're all so special to me!

I am updating this journal for the first time in ages, because I've been in prison.

I want to say thanks to the academy for giving me this award.

I went to the doctor yesterday, and he said I have bipolar disorder, which makes me different enough to be interesting, but the same as all the other cool people with bipolar disorder.

I am lame, this is my update for today. Oh and today is National Maple Syrup Day too. Everyone to IHOP for pancakes!

That's enough for now. But I'll leave you with this thought - sharing your life with strangers on the internet is the cheapest form of therapy available. Leave a comment and tell me I'm beautiful.

   Chocolate covered...Pandas?

Gettin' back in the swing of things!

I am slowly but surely getting back on my feet. I have finished the final draft of a new interview, did 3 new wallpapers for the Mospeada hub and have 3 different pieces of fan art scanned so I can work on them in Photoshop. I have been very busy since I have been feeling better. Now, I just need to get around to all of your sites and I will be in good shape. ^_^

Let's go ahead and have a bishie break!

Ah, my Saiyuki boys...

Now your question of the day. What are you driving? You can take this question in two ways. What car do you drive and/or what computer are you working on?

I can't drive 55!

First part of the question I drive a 97' Toyota Camry XLT. The second part I am currently "driving" a Titanium G4 laptop. Yes, I am a Mac user! I don't flame PC users so I expect the same courtesy returned by PC users. ^_^

December 16th's Bizarre and Unusual Holiday reminder is "National Chocolate covered Anything Day"! Most everyone loves chocolate. Now chocolate covered ANYTHING is really a day to celebrate! Chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered ice cream...it's all good...well, mostly all good.

Chocolate covered wrestlers?

Maybe not all good. I guess it just goes to show that chocolate can't help everything. Chocolate covered wrestler anyone? >_<

Well, I am going to do my best to make the rounds to everyone sites later today. I have made it to a few. Thanks all all sticking with me even though I haven't been visiting all of you guys lately. You guys rock. Love ya all!

   Happy Holidays!

Puppet Panda Santa!

I know, I am sounding like a broken record. I am still not up to par. I am just lucky there isn't a "lemon law" dealing with wives or John would trade me in for a better "model". >_<;; Not that he would trade me in, after all, we all know that I am a keeper. ~_^ My mom called me three times yesterday but I couldn't even make it to the phone to answer before the voice mail kicked in. She was calling to check in on me. Yes, it took me three phone calls to make my way to my phone which was across the house. Those of you who have been here know my house isn't that big. Needless to say I haven't been doing much of anything as of late. John stayed home from work to "panda sit" me. Let me tell you, nothing makes you feel more helpless than needing someone to help you around with basic things...like getting a drink of water since you can hold a glass.

Enough of this pity party, let's have a bishie break instead!

Kenshin!

Nothing better than a handsome sword welding samurai! Hmm, just thought about this. Kenshin Himura. My maiden name is Shimura...Himura is only one letter off. Where am I going with this? Nowhere. Let's move on. :P

Your question of the day: Do you know/practice any type of martial arts or self protection techniques. Boxing? Karate? Track (ie running away quickly)?

Samurai Neko!

As you know, ALL Asians know martial arts. ::insert eye roll here:: Ok, I know, I hate that stereotype too. In this case, I do know Tae Kwon Do. I am only a brown belt. I ended up having to drop my lessons because of school priorities. My big brother on the other hand stayed with his lessons as well as some other styles of martial arts and weapons.

Speaking of which... single girls looking for a great guy...my big brother is single! He broke up with his last girlfriend and is now back on the market! If you know a girl looking for a really great guy, 5'9" about 160 lbs in good shape, great sense of humor, Japanese, college education (BA in Fine Arts), owns his own home, 2 trucks, jet skis, quad for the sand dunes, loves the outdoors, non smoker.....and of course has the best little sister in the world..me!! You all know he has got to be cute since he is related to me! ::strikes pose:: Drop me a note. Hmm, I should post a picture of him.

I bet he will kill me when he finds out I am putting a "personal ad" of him on my blog. LOL Oh his name is Hiroshi. You know I only do this because I love him! That and my mom has told him she is going to Japan to "get a nice wife" for him. @_@

Wow, did I get way off topic. I guess this is what happens when you have been trapped in bed for days and have little contact with the outside world. >_<;;

Don't forget that December 15th is "National Lemon Cupcake Day"!

Lemon cupcake anyone?

Well, since I am sure you don't want to listen to me being a broken record...you all know that I appreciate all your visits and well wishes during this tough time for me. I have read all the PM's and I will respond once I am back on my feet again. Bah, it sucks being sick. I miss you all and hope to be back to my regular schedule soon. ^_^ ::huge hugs to everyone:: I really do love you all. Thanks for being such great friends.

When I am back full time on the site again I will have a bunch of stuff to put on the site. I have an interview that Magic the Gathering fans will love that I will post once I finish the final draft and hopefully some more fan art. Take care all and I wish you all the best and much happiness.

I was abducted by a Yeti.

Oh the terror!!

Ok, I wasn't abducted by a Yeti, but I was away from the site. Still not up to par but I am now able to sit at the computer to post. I really missed you guys and appreciate all your well wishes. ^_^ Things have been pretty tough for me the past few days but I will get through. I always do. It's times like these that I appreciate the little things in life, like a nice hot cup of cocoa and a fuzzy blanket. My advice to all of you, cherish good health, it really is a gift.

Now today John and I went shopping at the terror of the holidays...Wal-mart! ::insert eerie music:: I haven't been out of the house since Tueday when I went to the doctor so it was nice to escape the confines of the homefront. In other words, I was going a bit stir crazy from being isolated in the house! Now here is something I found a bit amusing. You all remember the Abominable Snowman from those stop motion animation holiday specials right? In fact, I will make him my bishie break for today!

The Abominable Snowman!

He's a handsome fellow. Big white furry man with a killer smile. Every female Yeti's dream guy. Well, when I get to the horror which is Wal-Mart I see a bunch of those inflatable things you can put in your front yard. The Grinch, a snowman, Santa and what looks like the Abominable Snowman. But upon further inspection of the Abominable Snowman I discover something...extra. Here's a picture I took with my cell phone.

The Abominable Snowma...woman?!

This leads me to the question of the day. Either the Abominable Snowman: a) is a woman. b) has gynecomastia. c) is going through a sex change and is on female hormones. What do you think? The Abominable Snowman has a rack! Not just a rack but a nice full Yeti DD cup rack! Oh the horror!

I know they were probably trying to make it look like he had some pecs, but they just come out looking like breasts. >_<;; I think because of that the Abominable Snowman is suffering from gynecomastia, or breast like tissue which grows on a male chest. Poor guy, he basically needs a breast reduction!

Well, that is about it for today. I appreciate all your visits while I was away. I will try to get back to my normal routine within the next day or two. Don't worry about me, I promise to be careful and take care of myself. I am beginning to think that I need to become the "Panda in the Bubble" or wear a helmet and protective gear all the time!

Safety first!

I love you all and hope to make it to everyone's sites soon. Take care!

   My only regret...

is that I have Bone-itis.

Short update today. Futurama fans should get that quote above. I think that episode when That 80's Guy dies of Bone-itis is pretty funny. My dying words will probably be the same.

Your Bizarre and Unusual Holiday reminder for December 8th is "Take it in the Ear Day"!

Arrgh! There's something in my ear!!

I hope you are all having an excellent week and I will chat with you all soon. Love you all!

   zzzz

It's snowing!

I am pooped out. I stayed up til 4am crocheting a baby blanket. My left wrist and index finger is a bit sore but it is worth it. ^_^ I really need to stop that constant repeating motion of crocheting for a little while. I will probably end up with carpal tunnel on top of my arthritis! XD

Speaking of repeating, something I will never ever get tired of is looking a cute bishonen guys! I think we need a bishie break!

Gojyo!

Ok all you non-egg nog drinkers (I am shocked how many of you don't even know what it is!) it's time for your question of the day! Do you like playing in the snow? Snowball fights, snow forts, sledding, skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, snow angels...the list goes on and on! Do you like the snow?

Weeeee!!

I love the snow. Even though in recent years it has made my life more difficult due to my arthritis I love it. Even having to shovel snow I enjoy. No more skiing or really active stuff in the snow for me anymore but I still love to look at it and watch it fall. If I didn't have RA I would be out in the snow everyday. I loved ice skating when I was little. I was pretty good at it. Probably because I wasn't afraid of falling down! Now, I fall down it hurts...but back then, I was made out of tougher stuff.

Hey, I am still up for a good snowball fight, are you in?!

Your Bizarre and Unusual Holiday reminder for December 7th are "Letter Writing Day" and "National Cotton Candy Day"!

Cotton Candy!

Well I am off to visit sites, approve art/greetings/wallpapers, check the OB (which I have been slacking off on, I am bad.) and get some rest. I love you all and hope your week is off to a great start!

   I am so excited!!

I'm going to be an "Aunt"!

I just got news from a couple of close friends of mine that they are expecting their first baby!! They want John and I to be honorary "Aunt" and "Uncle" to their baby!! I am so excited!! I haven't posted their names since they haven't told their families yet. They are going to make the big announcement at Christmas...until then, I am not going to say who they are just incase they read my blog. I am so happy for them. Since I can't have kids of my own I will spoil their baby rotten!!

Congrats to the soon-to-be mom and dad!!

I have already started on a baby blanket. Since I don't know how my RA is going to be I have to work on it every second that my hands feel good. Hopefully I will get it done before the baby is born. I have til July to get it done. Mamma Vash, if I end up failing to finish my blanket, I might have to buy one from you when I see you at AX! At least I know it would be made with love. ^_^

Let's take a bishie break!

Hakkai!!

Now for your question of the day! Egg Nog. Love it or hate it- which camp are you in?

Egg Nog...yummy.

I am in the "Love it" camp. I have developed a taste for the drink. Non-alcoholic of course. I was in the "Hate it" camp when I was a kid. I am not sure what changed about my tastes but I really enjoy it now. I have it every Christmas since John and I have been married. Hmm, maybe this is what they mean by "marriage changes people". Who knew they meant change in taste concerning egg nog.

Your Bizarre and Unusual Holiday reminder for December 6th is for "St. Nicholas Day", "Mitten Tree Day", "Put on your own Shoes Day"!

Jolly Ol' Saint Panda?!

Well, I could repost the picture of Harrison wearing the shoes but that was just a couple of days ago. What's the deal with December and the shoes? The 4th was just "Wear Brown Shoes Day" and now it's "Put on your own Shoes Day". Someone has a shoe fetish.

I better get back to working on that baby blanket. Sorry I didn't make it to all of your sites but I have to do the blanket while my hands and wrists feel good. That and there has been an unbelievable amount of new fan art, greetings and wallpapers submitted to the site I had to go through. Be sure if you get a chance to go check those sections out. Lots of great new additions! ^_^ Love you all!

   Feelin' Fine.

Happy Holidays!

Today was a good day. I am feeling pretty good today. I can't believe how good I felt today. I wasn't sore or sick! It's a holiday season miracle!! I am sure you have all noticed by now that I changed my site to have more of a wintery feel. I thought it would be a nice change. I also changed my banner and avi over on the OB to be in line with my winter theme. I also made the rounds to sites! I am on a roll today!

Hooray for feeling good!

Of course now I feel all pooped out. I hope you guys like the new look of the site. I like the soft wintery blue colors. Plus, it gave me a reason to put that picture of Sanzo in the intro. ^_^

Now let's have a Record of Lodoss War bishie break to fit with the winter theme!

Deelit and Parn, aren't they cute!

The question of the day time! Do you have a favorite holiday movie/show you watch every year?

Can't go wrong with Peanuts!

I watch "A Charlie Brown Christmas" every year when they show it on TV. To me it really makes it feel like the holiday season when I see it. ^_^ Everytime I go by those places they sell Christmas trees I always look for the Charlie Brown tree to see how sad it is. One of these years I am going to buy that sad little tree!

Your Bizarre and Unusual Holiday reminder for December 5th is "Bathtub Party Day"! It's some good clean fun!

Panda Bathtub Party!

Take care and I will chat with all of you later! Love you lots!

Have you been naughty or nice?

Santa Panda!

Today was an excellent day. I went out to lunch with my friend Jen to celebrate her "29th" birthday. It was great, we had a wonderful meal and some great conversation. After I got home from lunch John made it home from his business trip. Sorry I didn't make it to sites today but I have been spending it with John since I've missed him! He bought me vol. 5 of the Alice 19th manga and vol. 6 DVD of Azumanga Daioh! So we are going to be doing a Azumanga Daioh marathon this weekend. ^_^

I just felt really loved today. I got to hang out with my best friend Jen to celebrate her birthday, John came home and I got a couple of long distance phone calls from a couple of very dear out of state friends. I still need to call back to Shawn. I love ya hun, I will call you soon so we can have a nice long conversation! I promise!

Let's have a winter bishie break!

It's a white winter wonderland of bishie goodness!

Your question of the day starts off with a bit of trivia. You all know how I love useless trivia! ^_^ Ok! 29% of adults buy gifts for their pets during the holidays. Will you or have you, purchased gifts for the pets in your life?

I am one of those people who buy gifts for their pets. I get new dog toys for the "boys" for under the tree and they really enjoy them. Usually they get treats like biscuits and rawhides in their stocking. Yes, they have their own Christmas stockings with their names on them. It's fun to give them treats since they have the holiday "spirit" every year. I really wish I could get that excitement about the holidays back. ::is jaded:: :P

Now your Bizarre and Unusual Holiday reminder! December 4th is "Santas' List Day" (Hopefully you are on the "Good" list!) and "Wear Brown Shoes Day"!

Look, Harrison is celebrating!

For those of you who may not been around for this original posting Harrison's picture showed up it was used when I was talking about shoes. I love shoes...but that is off topic. Anywho- Harrison is my cat who I adopted from the vet clinic. He was born with a birth defect so his front legs are really short. He ::clears throat:: likes to "wear" my shoes. I have a theory behind this cross dressing habit of his. My shoes boost up his front half to a comfortable position since his front legs are so short. Why my shoes? John is a guy. Have you ever smelled the inside of a guys' shoes?! 'nuff said.

Well, it's been a slice. Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and be sure to be good, after all today is "Santa's list day", you don't want to end up on the bad list! ^_^ Go forth and be the sweet little angels I know you are! Love ya all!
