   The Horrors of the Internet!!

Before I even start the post, I must warn you, this post does contain a picture that some of you may find...disturbing. @_@;;

If you are prepared to brave my post, continue on at your own risk!!

Don't say I didn't warn you first!!!

Must...write...review!!

Thanks for the visits everyone. I feel better today. I did some writing which made me feel better. I think maybe one of the reasons I wasn't feeling up to par was because I hadn't done any writing in so long. I write in my blog, but other than that I hadn't done any interviews, reviews or articles. So today I sat down and wrote up a review which I am going to submit to the site. I felt really motivated today. I actually got a bunch of stuff done. I made some new wallpapers, greetings, wrote up a draft for an article and worked on a piece of fan art. Needless to say I am feeling so much better today. ^_^

After all the events in my life I have noticed that my online friends have been equally supportive to me as those friends who I actually see in person. For that I am very grateful. This began the gears in my head a-turning. The internet, it's a bizarre thing isn't it?. We have gone from only visiting and associating with those within our immediate area to now having a global community. There are many pluses and minuses to this. Those who prey on children and those who con people with fake emails saying they need to "update account information" from some company. Yet there is so much good out there too. We meet people from around the world with similar interests as our own. You really get the feeling you are not alone. No, not in that paranoid stalker kind of way, but the warm blanket of friendship way.

Speaking of friends, let's have a nice friendly bishie break!

Despite having different personalities, they are still friends.

Now, your question of the day! Do you consider your online friends the same as your offline friends? Have you ever had an online relationship?

Number one reason not to have an online relationship.

I consider my online friends the same as my offline friends. I don't change who I am or how I act online from the way I act in real life. Those of you have have met me in person I am sure will vouch for me there. ::eyes everyone she has met:: Right you guys! I treat my friends online like I treat my friends offline. I only wish I could give you guys big hugs when you are feeling bad. I also love meeting my online friends whenever I get a chance. I have gone to many different states to meet up with friends I have made online. I have never been disappointed. ^_^

As for online relationships. I have never had one. I was chatting with John about this earlier. If we weren't married we would both have used the internet to meet people. I know of many great pairings from the internet, but also many scary stories as well. I guess you just need to watch out for yourself. It's like if you went to a bar to meet someone. How do you know they aren't some serial killer? At least on the internet you have time to "get to know" someone. When it comes to meeting you can arrange something safe, like meeting in a group or something.

I guess it just comes down to the fact you just have to watch out for yourself no matter what. Now stop thinking about the naked guy. Let's move along to the next part of my post.

Now it is time for your Bizarre and Unusual Holiday reminder! November 23 is "National Cashew Day" and You're Welcome Day"!

Unfortunately I can't celebrate "Cashew Day" since John is allergic to cashews. Cashews are related to Poison Ivy and John will have a poison ivy type reaction on his lips if he eats cashews. Also in the same plant family are mangos. So needless to say there are no cashews or mangos in my home. If I eat them, then kiss John, he will break out with painful sores. It is not a pretty sight. >_<

But I will help you all celebrate "You're Welcome Day" by thanking you all for visiting my site today. I appreciate all the visits and reading your responses to my silly questions. I also wanted to thank all of you who have voted on my latest couple of pieces of fan art. If you haven't seen them yet you can check them out in my Fan Art Gallery. You guys are the best!

Panda Bath Sponge!

Oh here is a bath sponge you can use while you take a really hot shower to wash away the nasty feelings you have after seeing the "online relationship guy". He's a whole lotta lovin'. ~_^

Well, I guess that is about it. I know many of you are gearing up for the Thanksgiving holiday and will be traveling. I wish you safe travels. Thanks again for all the support. You guys are really true friends. I love you all!

I'm a little bummed.

Oh bother, I just feel complete worn out today. I am not sure if it is because I didn't sleep well last night, the cold dark weather, my RA and medications or the fast approaching Thanksgiving holiday. I also feel bad since I haven't been visiting everyones sites. I just feel like I am getting pulled in a million and one directions at the same time. I am not sure why all the positive energy that use to surround me has disappeared. ::dark cloud hangs over Panda::

On the Robotech.com message board that I am a moderator for the message boards. A banned member resurrected himself last night. I was out looking for anime when I get a phone call on my cell phone from an employee of Harmony Gold about the problem. Since I am not the only mod on the site I kinda figured it was bad since I was getting a phone call about it. So I get home and take a look, this guy had gone and posted the same crazy gibberish across all the forums and in one of the forums posted 21 different threads with one or two words as the subject line! Needless to say it just pushed all the other threads off the front page. This put a TON of drag on the site so dealing with all of that took a huge chunk of time, over 10 minutes on each one actually. Heck, it even froze up my computer twice! It really is sad how people think they can do this kind of crap on the internet. What a waste of time. Needless to say because I was dealing with that I didn't watch the anime I rented last night.

On a side note, to the HG employee who called me about his problem, I know you are reading this and you better take me out to dinner at AX for dealing with that! Hey and another thing, Steve promised me some DVDs this past summer and I never got them! You boys at HG better do something special for this little Panda!! ~_^

I need to get my life back on track, let's have a bishie break to start!

It's an entire bishie buffet!

Today requires a room full of bishonen guys to help cheer me up. Let's move on to the question of the day.

How do you deal with stress? Do you cry? Destroy something? Take it out on the people around you? Write in a journal or blog? Keep it all bottled up inside so it can fester until you finally explode in a screaming fit of rage?! So, how do you deal with the stress in your life?

Must...not...kill!!

I use to keep everything bottled up inside. That really wasn't healthy. It would make me angry towards those around me and it would make me feel even worse. Eventually I would just explode and cry my eyes out. I then found that writing about my stress would make me feel better. I get all those feeling out of my system and just being able to do that has helped me deal with stress. I sometimes draw when I am stressed, it gives me something else to concentrate on besides what's causing my stress.

You wanna go for a bike ride?

November 22 is "Go For a Ride Day"! Perhaps a roller coaster? Pony Rides? White Water River Raft ride?! So many different ways to celebrate the Bizarre and Unusual Holiday for today!

Well, I am feeling better now that I got to vent a bit. I wouldn't really call todays pity party a rant so I didn't bother firing up the Panda Rant Engine. I hope you are all feeling better than I am. I wish all the happiness and joy in the world. Just don't forget to share it with everyone around you. ^_^ We really need to get some more positive energy flowing around everyone again. I love you all!

Oh, I almost forgot, I am going to be posting my Saizo picture after this post so if you get some time please go by and vote on the little guy. Thanks all! ^_^

   Chocolate + Panda = Happiness!

You wanna piece of me?!

Mimmi got me thinking about the pure joy and unbridled pleasure of some chocolate. For you my dear Mimmi-chan I dedicate this chocolate-covered post just for you. I really do love chocolate, it is definately my favorite candy. In honor of that love I am going to discuss the wonders of chocolate tonight.

Here is some useless trivia about chocolate to fill your minds with!

-Biggest Hershey's Kiss weighed 400 pounds.
-White chocolate does not contain caffeine.
-Quakers felt that chocolate drinks were a healthy alternative to gin.
-Drinking chocolate mixed with milk, wine, or beer was a must in fashionable 17th century society.
-The Theobromine in chocolate is lethal to dogs.
-In a women's magazine survey, 70% of women would rather have chocolate than sex.
-Eleanor Roosevelt at 3 chocolate covered garlic balls every morning because her doctor told her it would help with her memory.

Time for a sweet bishie break!

Bishies with chocolate...now that really is a fan girl's dream!!

Time for you question of the day. Do you love or hate chocolate? If you love it, what is your favorite way to consume chocolate? If you don't like chocolate, what is your favorite sweet treat?

I guess I have already answered the first part of the question- I love chocolate. I would have to say it is a tie between chocolate milk or peanut butter cups. Both are treats I get when I want to have something chocolate-y. Now I am really craving some chocolate milk...oh, hot chocolate would be good right now too since it is so cold outside. Mmmmm, chocolate goodness.

The otaku diet staple.

Time for you Bizarre and Unusual Holiday reminder! November 21 is "False Confession Day" and "World Hello Day"!

Hello everyone in the world!! I have a confession to make, I am actually not a 28 year old anime fan, I am actually a spy for the great Panda Planet where pandas rule. We are looking for a new place to conquer and this planet is one of our perspective planets. Beware of the Power of the Planet of the Pandas!!

Ok, I am done celebrating the holidays. :P

I guess that is about it right now. I am very tired. It's been a busy day for me. If you guys get a chance go vote on my newest piece of fan art I have posted. Saizo should be done tomorrow. I still have to do some shading on him. ^_^ Hope to make it to all your sites soon. Love ya all!

"To master the techinque, you must bow to the Panda!"

Fear the Panda!

The subject quote for those of you who don't know is from Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. Sasshi has to train under a martial arts sensei who just happens to be a panda bear. ^_^

It looks like you guys liked yesterday's post. It was definitely lots of fun to work on. It is always a pleasure. Now, as I have promised in yesterday's post, time for us to talk about the next coolest thing to pirates...ninjas and samurai!! Woo Hoo!!

Tons of movies, anime, manga, video games and many, many books have told the tale of these trained killers. Their codes of honor and unparalleled martial arts skills have been romantisized for ages. What guy wouldn't want to be as sexy yet deadly as them?! What girl wouldn't want a bishonen swordsman to protect her from a band of assassins?! You just can't beat the mystery and romance associated with these skilled martial artists.

Time for your daily dose of bishie goodness!

Bishie goodness from Peacemaker Kurogane!

I did start a couple of pieces of fan art from Peacemaker Kuragane. One is done the other should be done sometime in the near future. One of Saizo and another is of one of those creepy cat girls. That one I will be posting later today. If you have read the first manga you know what creepy cat girls I am talking about. @_@

Now, let's move on to the question of the day! What is your favorite samurai/ninja/martial arts anime/game/movie?

Takeshi Shimura is a great actor!

As you can tell by the above picture my all time favorite samurai movie is Seven Samurai. I love the story and Kurosawa is an amazing film maker. How could it be bad with a Shimura* acting in it?!? (*Shimura is my maiden name. ^_^) This film has been very influential in film making. If you have not seen it, go watch it now!! How can you not love the film that inspired the American western classic "The Magnificent Seven" with Yul Brynner! Which you should all know by now is the name sake of my dog. ^_^

Don't forget, November 20th is a triple threat! It is "Absurdity Day", "Beautiful Day" and "Universal Children's Day".

Celebrate "Absurdity Day" by wearing this stylish personal alarm clock!

It's been fun kids, I love you all. Sorry I didn't make it to all your sites but I have been dealing with a flood of PMs as of late. >_<;; Just trying to keep up on those has been an adventure! Hope you are all having a great weekend and have fun celebrating the holidays! Now go do something absurd while being the beautiful children you know you are! Just don't do anything absurd TO beautiful children...that may get you in trouble. @_@;;

The Panda Guru will now enlighten the masses!

Have you come seeking the wisdom of the Panda?

First off, thank you for all the well wishes. I am feeling okay. Not great, not bad, just ok. Now, you guys know the deal with these question posts of mine, they are very image heavy and those of you on dial up may have a bit of a wait for it to load. I think I got everyone's questions answered. If I missed your question I will post your answer tomorrow.

Now, on with your questions!

Mew Wem: Find the anti-derivative of f(x)=(x+2)(3x-4)

This Panda hates math.

You are an evil, evil person. Don't I need to know the value of "f" to solve for "x"? Oh holy night! I haven't done stuff like that in ages! When I read your question I had a mini panic attack like this was a pop quiz for school and I didn't study, not only that, didn't even bother going to class until that day! To top it off I don't have anyone to cheat from! ::looks around at everyone elses work:: Oh man...

enin: Do you drink tea and if so, what is your favorite kind?

Panda's love tea!

Tea, yes I do drink both hot and cold teas. I do enjoy myself a good hot cup of green tea. For a treat I love milk tea from Tibet. One of my friends went trekking in Tibet and brought back some for me. It was oh so tasty! I have a bit of an international flavor when it comes to tea. ::looks at teas:: I have tea from Japan, Tibet and of all things some Earl Grey from somewhere in the former Soviet Union. Can't go wrong with a good cup of tea. ^_^

James: If Pandas were to form their own political party, what do you think their platform would be?

I'll be taking Washington by force!

By nature pandas aren't very, when I say "very" I mean not at all, political. They enjoy eating, sleeping and once in a while a bit of world domination. Otherwise they are very easy going. If a pandas were to pursue politics they won't take the typical healthcare, education, debt deduction platforms like all those other generic political groups. Wishy washy I say! Oh no no no! None of that "I am going to say what I think the masses what to hear" campaign promises. Pandas would take the view of "vote for our party or be destroyed!". We strongly believe that things would run much more smoothly if everyone would just do as I say. In other words, if you are not for us, you are against us and therefore must be, let's just say, "taken care of". I've got your support now don't I.

Now the second part of your question my dear James.

Also...does the bleeping in Jerry Springer annoy you? I mean, sure, you don't want people to be offended. But at the same time, the constant bleeping means that you can't hear what people are saying. Am I the only one who finds this highly frustrating?

Yes, I understand your ::beep::ing frustration. You are trying to listen to these ::beep::beep::beep::ing guests on the ::beep::ing show tell their ::beep:: problems and all you get are ::beep::ing beeps! I guess this is why they have those ::beep::ing tapes of the show you can buy that are uncensored. ::beep::beep::! I ::beep::ing hate those beeps too.

BubblesMegee: Do you think emotions help or hinder everyday actions in life?

Emotions: Help or Hinder?

I feel emotions are a very complicated thing. Strong emotions cause many problems in life. Arguments and hate to beautiful poems and love all come from emotions. Some people are driven by hate while others do things out of love. I think it is a mix of the two. It can help but it can also hinder everyday life. From my life an example I can use is getting my chemo injection. I hate it, absolutely hate it. But I do it anyway since I know (hope?) it will help me. I do it for my friends, my family and myself. I do it out of love of life and wanting to be able to enjoy it in the long run. Hate and love both in one decision in my life. Life is a giant mixed bag of emotions.

Chocobo Gene: If you could go anywhere, where would it be and why?

Up, up and away!!

If I could go anywhere I would go to Japan. I would go visit family and friends then go sightseeing and shopping! Oh what fun I would have!

pandaro: could i be your first mate, captain?

Sure thing! Now go plunder me some bamboo!

jacks heartache: what cult classic film do you secretly love?

Let's do the Time Warp Again!!

Oh Rocky Horror most definitely! I love the RHPS. I have yet had the chance to go see a midnight showing. I would definitely go if given the chance. I would take my newspaper, rice, toast, squirt gun and probably even dress up. What the heck, it would be a blast. I know I would do the Time Warp! My second choice for favorite cult movie would be Cannibal: The Musical. Those songs get stuck in my head.

Mamma Vash: If you could live in any period of time, any country, when and where would you live, and what would you be doing?

Well I'm off!

I have thought about this quite a bit. Needless to say I am a nerd and watch the History Channel a lot. I will be watching something about a time period I would think would be cool to live during, then I would realize all the negative things in that time. Mostly healthcare. A little bloodletting here, hacking off a leg there...we have come a long way in medical sciences. After taking all that into consideration I would like to be in the here and now doing what I do everyday...minus being sick. Yes, our time has it problems but I think things are much better now then in the past. We have more acceptance of alternative lifestyles, interracial relationships and religions. Not perfect, but getting much better. Afterall, we have the internet! Look how big our "community" has become! I now have friends all over the world. That is really amazing.

mouse bag: if you could be any colour which colour would you be?

I'm blue!

I would be light sky blue. Why, whenever I look up at a clear blue sky I feel happy. I want that same feeling for everyone else. How can you not smile when looking at a beautiful blue sky?

hEvN: Okay, I'm Captain Greybeard Orangebeard... I really need to know if it is grey or orange... or greyorange?

Orange or grey?

Now I my hypothesis is that it is orange but all the images of your have been in black and white, thus, more of a grey shade. This confusing people they call you both so everyone knows they are referring to you! "Ahoy Capt'n Greybeard! ::notices beard is actually orange:: Orangebeard!" This accident happening so much your name just became Greybeard Orangebeard! I guess Blackbeard had a much easier time.

SomeGuy: Who's dumber, Joey or Phoebe?

Joey. Did he come up with Smelly Cat? No, Phoebe did! What can we give Joey props for...making the poster for VD. My vote goes to Joey.
"Set another place for Thanksgiving. My entire family thinks I have VD."-Joey

#2: That said, who's dumber, Kelso or Fez?

Fez: "You're whipped like the family pig."
Kelso: "Hey, I am not pig whip"

Sorry, this one is a tie. @_@

#3: That said . . . if Kelso falls in the woods, does he make a sound?
Yes, from miles around the word " PICKELWEASEL!!" is heard echoing in the woods.

aoi': Purple or Violet? Are they the same or not?

Violets are Purple!

Violet is the name of a flower, purple is the name of it's color. I hope that answers your question. :P

Shinigami: Do you like Spongebob?

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

Ah Spongebob. I think he is ok. I am not a huge fan but I can tolerate his silliness for a little while. ^_^

blackwings: Who would be on the casting sheet for the part of 'Panda's Bishie Harum'?

Saiyuki boys for sure!

Who would I choose? I would have to start with all of Minekura's bishie boys and then continue on from there. It would take me far too long to list everyone. ~_^

Sara: Which are cooler: Pirates or Ninja(s)?

Ninjas are silently sexy...but Pirates are Panda's pick!

Funny you should mention that. My plan, before I started feeling sick yesterday was to post about the next coolest thing to pirates...ninjas and samurai!!! I will probably use that post tomorrow. ^_^ I guess it proves that great (devious) minds think alike!

Now to answer your first question Sara-chan, I would have to say pirates. Why, they have so much flare and swarthy-ness to them that ninjas just don't have. Ninjas are silent and deadly not loud and flashy like pirates! For their "stage presences" I give props to pirates over ninjas.

Question numba 2: If you're a pirate, what is your awesome pirate-y gimmick? Every pirate needs a gimmick.

Me pirate-y gimmick would be posting my radically awesome panda jolly roger flag everywhere! I would plaster my flag everywhere. It'll be on stickers, those little flags you stick in your car windows, annoying pop up ads...that would be my shtick. I shall claim this land as Panda Land! ::sticks mini flag in ground:: Arrr!!

anatema: Can you dance?

Shake yer booty!

My dancing skills are just about the same as the animation. Being, well, panda shaped, does not make dancing my forte'. I love music, I love groovin' along, but I am more of a watcher of those who can dance then a dancer. Now give me a karaoke microphone and I am all over that! ::starts to sing "I Will Survive"::

Q2: Can you swim? [I cannot :(]

Outta the pool!

I am very much like a fishing bobber. I can float very, VERY well. I took swimming lessons when I was just a wee little panda cub. I can swim but I am not a strong swimmer. I usually poop out quickly. One time I was out cliff jumping with friends and I ended up pooping out so I just stayed in the water bobbing around. One of my friends ended up "towing" me back to the shore. LOL

Q3: How many hours of sleep do you get per night?

It's like sleeping on air!

Not nearly enough. Usually I find myself not getting enough sleep at night because of my arthritis. I get pretty sore if I stop moving my joins for too long. I need to get up and move around. Another thing that keeps me from getting the rest I need is one of my dogs. Brynner feels that he needs to let us know if someone, somewhere is doing something. Sometimes he wakes up barking! He hops to his feet, looks around with a really confused look on his face and then realizes that he doesn't know what he is barking at. What a loon. Really makes me wonder what he was dreaming of when he woke up.

BankofKev: If a Panda fell off a tree in the forest alone, would it make a sound?

Can I get some help here?!

No, pandas are pretty padded and are use to falling out of trees. If there is any sound it would be similar to that of a fluffy pillow hitting the ground. ::thwup::

Shinimegami: When you were a child, were you spoiled?

I am NOT spoiled!!! ::pouts::

Oh how I wish I were spoiled. When I was a kid we use to get up before the sun would rise to go out and work on the family farm. Many times we missed the school bus (which was a good thing since the ride was over an hour long) and my dad would take us to school on his way into his other job and Japan Airlines. After school we would come home and work on the farm until it got dark. Needless to say I loved the fall and winter since we didn't have to wake up as early. I never got an allowance since all the chores we did around the house were because we just did them. Some of my friends would get money for helping out, we were just expected to help out. My dad loved saying "We give you a roof over your head, food for your stomach and clothes on your back." I don't think I consider my childhood as being hard, but definitely not spoiled. But John does spoil me now...after all, I need to make up for lost time! ~_^

zels hoseki: What's your favorite snack food?

I have a special soft spot for any snack food with a panda on the packaging. "Hello Panda", "Panda Land","Panda World" and a bunch of others are some of my favorites. They may not all taste the best, but they are so cute! Otherwise I would have to say my favorite snack food, one that I get for the snack itself, would be

Monkey Orange: Baby Blue or Powder Pink??

Baby Blue!

With a question like that it makes me think of babies?! I know I am not having one...@_@;;

sailor firestar: Have you seen the Gravitation anime? Do you like it better or the manga?

Yes I have seen (and own) the Gravitation anime. I am like you, I prefer the manga. I feel the manga has more story to it than the animation. It's just like any of your favorite books, the book is always better than the movie. :P

KitsuneTsuki: Do you like ice cream? If so, what is your favorite flavor?

Why yes I do, I enjoy ice cream very much. I would have to say my favorite flavor is peanut butter cup or just plain vanilla...which I can put peanut butter cups into! You scream, Pandas scream, we all scream for ice cream!!

Ok, time for your Bizarre and Unusual Holiday Reminder! November 19th is "Have a Bad Day Day"! I really don't encourage anyone to celebrate this one. I know! You can celebrate it by wishing it upon those you don't like! >_<

Again, I thank all of you for the well wishes and the great questions. It was fun coming up with all the images and responses. I knew I could count on you guys to come up with something interesting to ask me. ^_^ I still haven't been able to make it to many sites but I hope to remedy that this weekend. I love you all and hope all is well with you and yours.

   Shiver me timbers!!

Arrrrrr!!

Ahoy Matey! Prepare to embark on a voyage of swashbuckling adventure as I take ye across the rolling seas on a Panda Pirate's excursion in search of battle, treasure and romance! Yo Ho Ho, it's a Pirate's life for me!!

Ok, I know that my intro there is a bit over the top, but we are talking about pirates! I also know that Talk Like A Pirate Day was back September 19th, but I am in a bit of a maraudering mood today. Pirates are so flippin' cool! What other criminal is so cool? No one! Burglars...I don't think so. Drug dealers...no way! Murders...they just can't hold a candle to the sheer awesome coolness of pirates! Blackbeard! Captain Blood! William Kidd! Jean Laffite! Bartholomew Roberts aka The Great Pirate Roberts! Anne Bonny and Mary Read (female pirates rock!)! And of course Jack Sparrow...need I say more!?!
Pirates rock my Panda socks!

Do ye have what it takes to be in me crew?!

Now I bet you are wondering what exactly do the Panda's Pirates do. Well, if you have ever plundered a quiz or survey off of a friend's blog, you qualify! Like any good pirate crew we do have rules, break the rules, ye be off to Davy Jones' Locker! The main rule, no plagiarists allowed! Plundering a quiz and/or survey is fine...but stealing someone's work and claiming it to be your own is forbidden! Do this and you walk the plank!! If ye has what it takes to be in me crew, take this flag and display it proudly where ever you would like! Arrrr!!

Time for a Pirate Bishie Break!

One Piece!

Arrrr ye ready for the question of the day? It be a super easy one! What is your pirate name? Just go to Rum and Monkey (which is one of my favorite sites to waste time on) and use...er...plunder their Pirate Name Generator to get your answer!

My pirate name is Captain Scurvy Dog the Frilly.
Take Ahoy! The Pirate Name Generator today!
Created with Rum and Monkey's Name Generator Generator.

Now, for my fellow Buccaneer Dark Phoenix I would like to give a treasure chest of doubloons and the use of a Cat O' Nine Tails (a nine thonged whip) to use on people who flame fan art! Thanks for happy thoughts and the cute panda picture you posted for me on your site. ^_^

I would also like to take this time to bestow a Letter of Marque (license by the govt. to attack and loot enemy ships) to the vivacious vixen, sexy siren of the sea, Kei-chan!! She can also keelhaul any scallywags who post spam in the Manga Workshop on the OB!! And why does she get this wonderful license from me? It's because I wanted to give her a special shout out and thank you for a very cute piece of panda art! ~_^

It be time for the Bizarre/Unusual Holiday reminder! November 17 is "Take a Hike Day" and "World Peace Day".

Peace!

Well, it was fun being a Panda Pirate for a post. Mind you I could never compare to the coolness of Shin and his Pirate Pimp persona on Halloween! Hope you guys are having a great week so far. I am off to upload some more greeting cards and wallpapers to the site. Be sure to check them out if you get a chance. Love ya all and know when I say "Go take a hike!" I only mean for you to celebrate the holiday! Peace and Pirates to you all!

   Puuchuu!!

Get your groove on!

Lots of great responses to yesterday's post. Thank you much everyone. I loved reading everyone's choices. After reading through all of them ::looks at BankofKev talking about AX:: I went through some of my old photos and thought I should post some for you otakus to enjoy. A few people you might recognize and even pictures of John and me for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

John and Miriam Sirois, the VA for Akane Tendo in Ranma 1/2, at the Viz Video Private Party. Viz Video rented out The House of Blues in Downtown Disney. If you watch the extra included in the last Ranma 1/2 DVD box set they have footage from that party. Me, John and our friend Jay, who was working for Newtype at the time, all went together. It was fun but I think if we had an Otaku.com get together it would be much more fun!

A special picture for the fizz Richard Cox (VA of Ranma and Inu Yasha) and Miriam Sirois (Akane) signing autographs. When Richard gave me his autograph he drew this silly face with it. What a loon. :P

Bask in the glorious splendor which is a Panda! Yes, that really is me, hopefully you won't have nightmares now! Like I have told you guys time and time again, I am shaped like a panda. If you were to draw me, you only need to use circles! Who wants to huggle a skinny, bag-o-bones panda? No one! Everyone loves their pandas....squishy!

For fans of Excel Saga, like my dear Shin Koshi Rikudo, creator of Excel Saga, signing autographs. Unlike his character in Excel Saga he is really soft spoken and subdued.

Well, that is it for tonight. One of these days I will post some more pictures of some of the anime/gaming people I have met if you guys want me too. ^_^

Time for a bishie break!

Nabeshin!!

Nabeshin is the man! He can pull guns out of his afro, his car has (had?) wings and he just rocks! So, if you guys couldn't tell, I watched some Excel Saga today. I also made some wallpapers and greetings for Excel Saga and Puni Puni Poemi. Feel free to check them out. I'll be uploading them after this update.

Now, the question of the day! In anime/gaming, what is the most obnoxiously cute character? This character is one that gives you cavities when you see it since it's so flippin' cute?

There are many, many saccharine sweet characters it is really hard to choose. Puuchuus are cute, but I am not going to be like Sumiyoshi or Space Butler and be taken in by their cuteness. I think I would have to say that Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh in that penguin suit is the cutest. When I see it all I can do is go "OMG, that is so flippin' cute!!". There are lots of characters like the Di Gi Charat characters that fit the bill, but I picked Chiyo-chan since I really like her character too. Many of those cavity causing characters I can't stand...but Chiyo-chan is just so cute I can't hate her! Her cuteness has pulled me in!

Fear the cuteness!!

I am also going to add a new section to my daily blog. Bizarre and Unusual Holidays!

November 16th is Button Day and Have a Party with your Bear Day!!

Let's Party with a Panda!

Well, hope you guys enjoyed the pictures. Thanks for the visits and I am now off to visit sites and upload those greetings and wallpapers. Love you all much and may the cuteness of Chiyo-chan's penguin dance fill your dreams.

I gave my heart to you...

and I am happy I did.

Today I feel like the luckiest Panda in the world. I can't believe the responses I received on my posts for yesterday. I have never really just vented like that on my blog before about my personal stuff. I have mentioned here and there that I wasn't feeling well but never like yesterday. I was always afraid that you guys would be annoyed by it and think I was a whiney little brat. I took a chance, opened up, and you guys were there to support me. I really feel like you are my friends, true friends. You really are the best support team anyone could ever ask for. I love you all.

Now before I get all weepy and turn this blog into a sappy Lifetime (Television for Women) movie...let's move on!

To give the the poor guys a break from the bishie-iousness of my site, how about some fan service instead!

The girls from Love Hina!

I am sorry about the poor quality of the scan, my scanner is on it's last leg. I hope it survives just a little longer since I have some fan art I need to scan before it completely dies. I would love to get a new scanner. Maybe Santa will bring me one this Christmas! Until I get my new art scanned, you guys will have to make due with the new greetings and wallpapers. I am going to post those today after this update. Go check them out when you get some time. ^_^

Anywho, I received the above signed picture and an animation cel from one of the VA's in Love Hina, Rebecca Forstadt, as a gift. She has worked on many different animes including Cowboy Bebop and Robotech. When it came in the mail I was really excited since I haven't been adding to my anime cel collection in years! Now I have the bug again...that is bad.

Now, for the question of the day! If you could meet anyone in the anime/gaming industry, who would it be and why? This could be the creator of a game or manga, voice actors, directors...anyone!

I have been very lucky since I have had the opportunity to meet many in the gaming and anime industries. One person I would really REALLY love to meet is Kazuya Minekura the creator of Saiyuki, Wild Adapter and Bus Gamer. She is just a year older than me too! It is weird to think that someone who is my age (basically) is doing such amazing work. I would love to get some original sketches and an autograph from her. That would be this little fan girls dream. ^_^

Go! My cuddly army of super cute panda cubs! Smother them in love!!

I guess that is about it for today's post. Needless to say, you guys have successfully help cheer me up. I am so happy that I can open up to everyone. It makes me feel happy and loved. I love you all and wish you all the best in the coming week. May the warm, snuggly, cuteness of the baby pandas put a smile on your face that will last forever. ^_^

Now off to submit some greetings and wallpapers AND visit everyone's sites! ::skips away happily::

Rant or Rave, choose your poison!

What the heck, how about a second post!

Ok, so after writing up that huge rant post I decided that really isn't what I wanted to leave you guys with. Because of that you are going to get two separate posts for today. If you feel like reading my original "rant" post, feel free to read the post directly below this one. I just needed to fire up the rant engine to get some stuff off my chest.

I went on a shopping mission today. It was successful. I ended up getting Azumanga Daioh vol 2, 4 and 5 DVDs, Wolf's Rain vol 3, Peacemaker Kurogane vol 1 in the collectors box and vol 12 Kare Kano manga. I also bought Heston a new Nylabone to chew on and a replacement toy fish for Brynner. It's cute, if you ask Brynner where his fish is, he will go find it and bring it to you, even if there are other toys out. He knows which one the fish is! This is the 3rd toy fish he has received. ^_^

On a funny note, while I was wandering around looking at different DVDs and games I looked up and right in front of my face was, of all things the exact movie of El Santo that I had posted in yesterday's post! It was quite funny. I had to chuckle out loud in the store and point it out to John. He was quite amused by the fact I had just mentioned it and there it was...like it was waiting for me to purchase it. Creepy in a way now that I think about it. @_@

Maybe I need to start thinking about large sums of money and it will appear before my eyes! Of course if that really worked I would have a swarm of bishies...not to mention a large herd of yak...invading my home. But still, if only I could just mention stuff and have it happen.

::win a million dollars, win a million dollars, win a million dollars::

Time for an animated gif bishie break!

If I were Noriko I would be hugging Ryuichi too!

Now for your question of the day!

If a movie was made about your life, which actor/actress would you cast to play the ever important role of you?!

Aki Maeda!

Aki Maeda is the actress I would want to be me. Afterall, it is a movie and if you cast someone who actually looked like me no one would watch the film!! That is why I choose Aki since she is so cute and a talented actress. ^_^

Remember, only read the next post if you are up to a ranting panda!

Well, now I am really tired of typing. I hope everyone is having a good weekend and am off to make it to the sites I missed. Thanks again for all the well wishes, you guys are the best. ^_^
