Still feeling icky.
Friends got your back when you need them.
I still feel sick. I tried to get some rest but couldn't. I basically stayed awake until 7:30am. I got a couple of hours of sleep and now I am back up since my tummy is angry at me. I appreciate all your well wishes, they really do make me feel better and remind me why I put myself through all this. It's to make sure I am going to be here and healthy for a long time to come. ^_^ I love you all.
During the early hours of the morning I did make it to a few of your sites, made a little sheepy gift for Mimmi and 3 new Gravitation wallpapers. Since I couldn't sleep I thought I would do something productive. Hopefully my late night/ early morning comments made sense. If not, you know why. ^_^
Bishie break time!
Friends support you no matter what.
I am sure you have seen this on other sites. Now here is it on mine. Just think of this as a "Limited Edition / Director's Cut" of my question of the day.
1. Who are you?
2. Are we friends?
3. When and how did we meet?
4. Do you have a crush on me?
5. Would you kiss me?
6. Give me a nickname and explain why you picked it.
7. Describe me in one word.
8. What was your first impression [of me]?
9. Do you still think that way about me now?
10. What reminds you of me?
11. If you could give me anything what would it be?
12. How well do you know me?
13. When's the last time you saw me?
14. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't?
15. Are you going to put this on your journal and see what I say about you?
16. What song are you listening to right now?
17. Do you love me?
Friendship is a two-way street, never forget I am here for you too.
Have fun with the survey everyone. Thanks again for all the support. I really do appreciate your support. I know things will be ok, I just need to keep on keepin' on. I love you guys...you rock.

Chemo makes you feel like crap.
Click here for Alien piccy only if you don't mind blood.
The caption: My tummy hurts.
Well, I started my chemo again today. This is going to be a short update since my tummy is feeling like it is trying to escape my body. Perhaps it is not my stomach that is upset, maybe it's one of those Aliens...soon it shall burst from my body, give everyone a toothy grin and run away.
Time for a special alien bishie break!
Power-hungry, universe domination minded, evil and oh-so squid-alicious!
Well if you were a Invid girl I am sure you would find him very sexy!
I will leave you with a question: Do you believe in aliens?
I think the universe is such a huge and vast place there has got to be something else out there. Heck, we are still discovering species here on our own planet in the oceans and jungles! I don't think we are alone.
I am going to crawl back into bed right now.
Sorry such a lame update everyone, not feeling so hot. I will try to get to everyone's sites when I am feeling better. I did try to make it to a few sites and I hope I didn't come across as sounding rude or whatever. You know how it is when you are sick. Sometimes what you say (type) comes across as being mean. I don't mean too. I love you all and hope you are having a great week.

I am feeling a bit...
sloth-like today.
I believe it is from that Halloween sugar high I have been on. I am now at that oh-so-awful sugar low...blah. The weather here in Washingon is grey, cold and gloomy. It looks more like winter than fall. November is one of my favorite months. There is just something about this time of year I just love. ::looks out at the changing colors of leaves::
I am not sure if you have seen, but Adam has posted a survey for members to respond too. Be sure to check it out. It is on the front page of the site. Take a few minutes and make your vote count! Tis the season to vote! ^_^ In the section where it asked for your opinion...I left mine blank since I figured Adam was probably tired of hearing from me about changes that need to be done for the site. >_<;; I thought I would give him a break.
Go fill out your survey now!!
Be sure you fill in for the "positive" comments that having me on staff is the best thing that has happened to the site! ::watches tumbleweed roll by:: Or not. Okay, fine then...be that way! ::pouts::
I think I need a bishie break...
Wild Adapter bishie goodness.
I just absolutely love Kazuya Minekura's art work. She is so talented. If you haven't made the connection yet, Minekura also does Saiyuki.
Now with the passing of Halloween and everyone getting tons of candy and other tooth rot I think this is a very appropriate topic of discussion. Let's move right along...
Looks like you are getting a cavity from all that candy!!
Question of the day: Have you ever had a cavity? Braces or retainer? Wisdom teeth extracted?
I have had a couple of cavities. I know, bad Panda. I also had braces for many years. After I got my braces off I had to wear a retainer for a while after that. As for my wisdom teeth I had all 4 pulled out in 2001. Lucky for me they weren't impacted (still under the gumline) but it still really sucked. I hate having dental work done.
Go brush your teeth!!! Now!!
I love you all and hope you are all having a wonderful start to November. Take care and I am off to visit the sites I didn't make it to yet. Later all! ^_^

Time for more sugar!!
Happy Birthday to the November babies!!
Since I know you all didn't get enough sugar in the past couple of days I think we need to all have some birthday cake! I would like to wish all those celebrating November birthdays a very happy one and may all your birthday wishes come true! ::huggles::
Not much going on with me today so this update is, well, a bit lame. Sorry all. ::time passes:: Oh! I know!
Time for a much needed bishie break!
Tall blonde bishie goodness.
Question of the day: What is your favorite way to waste time?
I like just wandering around the internet. Going link by link just to see where I end up. It's definitely a great way to waste time. Sometimes you find something interesting...other times you end up getting swamped by pop ups or on a porn site. I guess that is the chance you take when wandering around in net.
I need to do some exercises!
I think I need to do some exercises. I have eatten far too much candy in the past couple of days. I am feeling a bit blah. Hope everyone had a great Halloween and you all aren't getting sick of all the candy. Take care and I will see you all around the site! Love ya all!

Happy Halloween!!
Trick or Treat!
Happy Halloween all! For this special holiday myO is dedicated to the spirit of Halloween! ::sets out huge bowl of the "good" candy:: Help yourself! I have one tv set up with scary movies and another one with games like Silent Hill for everyone to play. You can help me pass out candy to all the visitors and when the little kids all turn in for the night we can share scary stories!! WooooOOOOOooooooOOOOO!! Scary!!
Time we had a scary Halloween bishie break!
Halloween Vampire Spookiness!
Now I have a few question for you trick or treaters!
1. What did you dress up as this year?
2. What is your favorite candy to get trick or treating?
3. What is the worst thing you got trick or treating?
4. What was the best costume you saw this year?
Remember, don't eat all your candy in one day!
To answer my own questions:
1. A Panda!!
2. I use to love getting (and still do) Milkyway. Mmmmm, yummy!
3. Those "Halloween" mini books that teach a lesson. I wanted candy, not a life lesson!!
4. I am not sure what he was, but he had this tiger print cape, large feathered head dress with tons of peacock feathers and a scary mask. His plumage impressed me.
Be safe all!
Thanks for stopping by myO for my little Halloween get together. It's been fun. Take care and I will chat with all of you when you come down from the sugar high all the candy has put you on. ^_^ Happy Halloween!!

For Sale: Cardboard Box Home!
Oh, it's so roomy!
I was in a pretty "white trashy" kind of mood. I think it comes from watching the show Cops all day. Why was I watching Cops all day. Well, it makes me feel better about my own life. Really. If you ever feel like your life is bad, just watch an episode or two of Cops and you will realize how good you got it. ::watches tv as drunk, dirty, overly-hairy man is wrestled to the ground as the "beeps" sound out every time he cusses:: Ah yes, trashy drunk white guys who think they can lie to cops are the best*! (*best example of what not to do!)
I think we need a bishie break!
Homeless and beat up...just how I like my bishies.
Ok, maybe not. But don't you just want to take them into your house and nurse 'em back to health? ^_^
Now, I have very high expectations from you guys today with my question. I expect only the highest quality of white trash answers from all of you! As you can see by my test score below I am not as white trash as I was hoping I could be, thus, I need your help.
I AM 32% WHITE TRASH! The white trash in my blood will not keep me from becoming a doctor or a lawyer, but it will keep me from a good haircut and any sort of fashion sense. |
Let me set up the scene. I am in need to decorate and furnish my "new" 1969 single wide trailer with beautiful orange shag carpet. I moved into the place after the meth lab that was here got busted. I got my rusted out Trans-Am out front next to my 3 washers, 2 dryers and what remains of a fridge. The dozens of feral cats and a few mange ridden dogs lounge around the weeds and empty malt liquor bottles. I have invited you over to my trailer park for a "trailer warming" party. I am wearing my best muu-muu and have my hair in those pink foam curlers. I have 5 year old hard candy covered in dust for you to snack on when you get here.
My question to you is: What "As Seen On TV" item would you order for me?
I think I am going to have to get myself those space saver bags. You know, the ones you cram all your junk into and suck the air out with a vacuum. I can store all my muu-muus in there without worry of water damage or spiders! Which you know will be a major problem in my swanky trailer. "Think smart, think safe, think space saver!"
Hurry, operators are standing by!
Well kids, I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and if you are going out on Halloween be safe. I love you all and want to make sure you all are back here. Take care and I am off to try to get to all the sites I have missed earlier.

Stressed is Desserts spelled backwards!
So let's start today's post with cookies!
Everyone have some cookies? Ok, let's begin the post for today. I am pretty sore today so it's going to be a bit short. I had a bit of a stressful time as of late. With all the medical stuff, family stuff and to top it off...I lost a big chunk of information I had for an article for the site. ::hair falls out from stress:: Oh dear.
Adam did put my convention list up in the news section. So if you want to see what cons are going on in November the list is now up on the front page of the site. I am going to be listing them every month. If only I had the money to attend them all. Hopefully I will get that interview put together to have posted in the next few days. I just need to get my ducks in a row again.
Time for a chibi bishie break!
Oh so cute!
Time for your question of the day. Accents. Do you see (or would that be hear?) yourself as having an accent? Do you sound like you could be in a Monty Python skit or the movie Fargo? A cab driver in Brooklyn? A southern belle? Northeastern? Mafia hitman? Texan cowboy? The Crocodile Hunter? Or are you more like my mom and have a very thick "first language" accent? She is very good at speaking "engrish". Perhaps a Hispanic accent or Romanian? I also want to know if you find any particular accent more appealing to you?
I only have an accent when I speak Japanese. My Japanese has a very thick "American" accent. My english on the other hand I find myself totally void of accent. I sound like I could be a newscaster for CNN. So I guess you can say my accent is that of no accent? I don't know. Maybe Mamma Vash can explain how I sound since we have talked to each other quite a bit. ^_^ I find most all accents really appealing to me. It is just fun to listen to all the different tones and inflections in the different accents. One that I really like is the Australian accent. I think it is the slang I enjoy hearing the most. Very cool. Now for you guys who are in Australia...is there different accents for the different regions? Just a bit curious. ^_^
Oh one last thing...
Thanks everyone.
I appreciate all the support with my new experimental drug treatment. Hopefully I will only get benefits and no side effects from it. Let's all keep our fingers crossed. I have tried to make it to a few sites but my fingers are really bugging me. I think I can go to a few more, but if I don't make it to your site, I am sorry. I will visit all of you when I am feeling a bit better. I love you all and I am off to take my meds right now then head off to bed.

I got run through the mill today.
So, which would you like first, my good news or my bad news. Might as well go with the bad news. I went to my Rheumatologist today. It was a beautiful autumn day and a very nice hour and 1/2 drive to see my doc. Well after my exam and review of my blood work my doc gave me 2 options. One was to go back on the chemotherapy drug in addition to the medicines I am currently taking, which is approximately $5000+ a year. Or I could stay on the medicine I am on right now and go to the next set of Rheumatoid Arthritis medication which all require having an infusion of medication, which means I have to go to the hospital to have this done AND it would cost more than $15,000 a year. Option 2 has great results, my mom is on an infusion drug and she has to go every 8 weeks for about 3 hours while the drug is slowly injected into her. Option one has been known to cause some major liver problems but has really good results dealing with the pain of RA.
I opted for option 1 since cost is a major issue. I can't afford to pay for option 2, which by the way is the price after insurance. I don't even want to know what it is without! @_@ Because of my choice I have to have my blood drawn every two weeks to make sure my liver is doing ok. If it works, I am all for it. Needless to say my doctor is keeping me under close watch. He said if I even get a tummy ache I need to let him know. :P Oh well.
Now don't worry about me. I am not to upset by this. I am a bit bummed that I am back on the chemo, I was just growing my hair long again! No biggie, I like short hair anyway. So let's move on to the good news!
After my appointment John took me out shopping for manga and anime! I picked up Kare Kano manga vol 11 and the DVD collector's box of Azumanga Daioh that includes vol 1 and Azumanga Daioh vol 3 DVD. Why not vol 2 you ask? Well, for some reason vol 2, which has 4 episodes cost $22 and vol 3 with 5 episode cost only $19. I am going to see if I can find vol 2 someplace else for less than $22. New anime and manga always makes things better. ^_^
Now, time for a special Halloween time bishie break!
Domokun! He's got a winning smile!
Ok, so Domokun likes to listen to loud rock music, farts when he gets nervous, and lives with an old rabbit in a hole in the ground...someone might find those trait appealing! ::looks around finding no one responding to the pure fuzzy bishiness of Domokun:: Well, I tried.
Let's move on to the question of the day! It's been a while since I asked this question so I think it is ok to recycle. Plus, recycling is a good thing to do! ^_^ What do you want to be when you grow up?
I always loved working with animals and I got a degree in veterinary medicine. But because of my RA I can't work in the vet clinic anymore. I am now pursuing my next love, which is writing. I know I need more experience and examples of my writing to put in my portfolio, but I feel that I am at a good start. Considering this is going to be my second career I feel I am off to a good start. ^_^
I am worn out!
Well, I am off to check out the sites I missed today, the OB and see if there is any odds and ends that need to be done around theOtaku before heading off to bed.
Oh, and yes, as soon as we got home John went back to GTA: San Andreas. His character is now earning money by being the manager of the world's oldest profession (Translation: He's a pimp). His company's account receivable needs to collect at least $500 from the clients to allow him to afford a new coiffe (Translation: He needs those bitches to give him his money so he can go get cornrows!). I guess John wants me to come help him pick out a tattoo for his character now. ::rolls eyes:: Oh what fun it is to be a Thug.
Take care all and I will chat with you all soon. Have a great day! I guess I need to go help pick out a tattoo right now. :P

Yes, I am a...
Lemming!!
Ok, so I am not really a lemming, but I have jumped off a cliff because my friends did. :P
But John is a lemming. He is just like all the other GTA fans today. I have lost John to his new obsession...Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. He bought it for himself. But not to worry about me he was kind enough to buy me the Gravitation manga vol 8 and rented vol 1 and 2 of Azumanga Daioh to watch while he goes on a video game rampage on the urban streets of San Andreas. He has a large 40oz of malt liquor and some chips and salsa for his adventure in mayhem. Last I checked in on him he was driving around beating up crack dealers with a baseball bat. God help us all.
I think I need a bishie break...
I just love Hakkai's eyes in this piccy!
Now, time for you question of the day. If you could spend a lot of money today on one unnecessary, crazy, frivolous thing- what would it be?
I would go by a new car. I would by a new VW bug that is white with black above the wheel well on the fender so it looks like a panda! I really don't need it, but it would be fun to have. It would be so cute!! Oh if only I had a bunch of money to burn!! ::pout::
Money!!
I hope you are all having a great day and I am off to visit the sites I haven't made it to yet. I love you all!
