   I'm Outta Here!

Time for me to hit the road! I am visiting the inlaws this weekend. I love them like they are my own parents, the only thing I don't like is....THEY ONLY HAVE DIAL UP INTERNET SERVICE!!!! ::passes out:: X_X The horror huh. I can't think of anything scarier to post right before Halloween than that! So I will not be able to be as active on the site as I usually am. But not to fear, I shall return. Or maybe you should fear! Actually if there is anything we should all fear is the panda heads on my site now. I don't think I will keep them up since they are a bit too busy for my taste. I will leave them for the weekend until I can figure out what I want to do with my site. I just figured the gradient thing was just too plain...but the panda heads are too busy. I need to find a happy medium. Time for a cute bishie break... Aren't they cute all chibi like. LOL My question for the day is this: What should I do for my site's background? Should I change the colors and intro? What the heck should I do? I can't answer my own question yet. Maybe I will work on it this weekend when I am not hangin' with the family. Those pandas are staring at me right now. @_@ I do promise to respond to all the questions you guys left me that I missed from my question day and all the guestbook signings when I get home to faster internet.    Panda Questions Answered...kinda.

Questions-O-Plenty! You guys asked some good questions. I am still not up to par, in fact the RA is not bugging my right knee so I am having trouble walking. I am a bit of a hobble bear. ::waddle, waddle:: Let's get to these questions! KamiyaUsagi- What is ur favorite type of music? Play that funky music Pandaaaaa! -I have a very mixed bag of music I enjoy. Everything from anime music to showtunes. I think the only thing I don't really like is the hardcore rap stuff. Just not my bag baby. sailor firestar-Where do you get all your great panda pics? -Friends, stuff I have, calendars...all over. If you find something that is panda related and super cute be sure to send it to me! ^_^ I have a fairly large collection of panda items...which I am sure is not a surprise to you guys. Whenever I find something with a panda on it I buy it. Books, calendars, greeting cards....whatever! If it has a panda it has to be a part of my collection. Mew Wem- What's the silliest dare you've ever done? -Hmm, silliest. Probably going out on the town wearing an outfit that my friends picked out for me. It was one of those...No matter what we choose you have to wear it. I would have been better leaving the house with a crate on my head. Really. >_<;; BrokenWing: What makes you love pandas? -How can you not love something so cute??!! When you say your favorite animal is a panda everyone smiles. I have never had anyone freak out like they do if you say snakes. Pandas after all are the international symbol/mascot for peace. Pandas are so influential all around the world. Pandas for Peace! pandaro: What is your theory on why the chicken crossed the road? -To avoid the rabid yak of course! chainedangel: Do you have any tattoos or piercings? -Why yes I do. I have both ears double pierced and a tattoo on my left ankle of a rose bud. jacks heartache: What is your favorite non-anime movie? "It is good to be King!" -There are non-anime movies?! Hmmm, I have to say it is something older. I do love the musical "The King and I" with Yul Brynner. Yul Brynner...what great abs!! If you haven't seen "The King and I" put it on you list to watch on a lazy day. My dog is named Brynner after him too! TheAngelHasFallen: What qualities do you look for in a friend? If you think this is funny, you are probably a friend of mine. -Sense of humor is definately at the top of my list. Understanding me is also up there at the top of the list. Sometimes my humor is lost on some people. If you don't get me, you probably don't like me. If you understand my sense of humor you are among the smarter people in the world with a more refine and classiness about yourself. In other words you are a groovy kid with a smart head on your shoulders. ~_^ iluvsasuk: What is the secret of immortality? Wandered around the site and realized it was a great place to be and I never left. Great people and conversation...what more could I ask for?! Axim: If you could go back and live your life to this point over again would you? -Nope, been there and done that. Baron Samedi: I PMed you the wallpaper. Do you like it? -Yes, I love it, how can I not love it with pics of Sanzo?! It's on my desktop right now. ^_^ SakuraChan: Which Saiyuki series did you like the most? -I haven't seen Gunlock yet which is airing in Japan now. I would have to say the original since it was my first exposure to Saiyuki. Mamma Vash: What is your most favorite thing to wear? -My flannel panda jammies!! Do you have a plushie you like a lot? -My favorite would have to be my giant Tare Panda. I would love to find a Sanzo, but alas, the only ones I can find are on eBay for $$$. zels hoseki: What is the dumbest thing you've ever done? -There is so much to choose from....I would have to say falling off the monkey bars and using my arm to break my fall. This was at a Japan Airlines company BBQ on the 4th of July at the house of my dad's boss. What makes it really dumb was the fact I was told not to play on the monkey bars AND after it happened I said it was ok. I was such a tomboy I didn't want to look like a wimp. It was actually broken and when it swelled up really big my parents figured it wasn't ok and I went to the hospital. Oh bother. blackwings: What is your favorite thing to do on your birthday? -My favorite thing is to go out for a nice meal with my friends and family. Sw33tZ: How do you react when you see blood? -It doesn't bother me. I think it is because I was such a rough and tumble little panda that I would see lots of my own blood from cuts and other wounds. Working in veterinary medicine and assisting in surgery I saw lots of blood so it really doesn't bother me. Heck, I just went to the doctor today to get more blood drawn. Ok, I think I got them all. I am sorry I didn't have pictures to go with all my answers but I am not working at 100% and it's hard to be creative when you are hurting. I am sure you can all understand that. I am off to take care of some stuff around the site and I will give you all a day off from questions! This still ended up being a long post even though I didn't feel very good. I am quite proud! Of course I didn't do any proof reading so if there are some type-os I am sorry. I am lazy and, well, just lazy. ^_^ I am not sure how much I will be on the site this weekend since I am going up to the inlaws.    Like a bat from the rafters!!

Beware of Count Pandula!! I was in a bit of a dark and brooding mood this afternoon. I ended up watching some Hellsing and had the hankering to make some wallpapers and greetings. So I gathered up my strength and made 2 simple wallpapers and 3 greetings. One wallpaper for Hellsing and one wallpaper and 3 greetings for Vampire Hunter D. I guess you can say the Halloween season is inspiring me. Dark and brooding = Sexy Bishie Goodness. Just like Shin...dark and brooding. ~_^ Now my question is dealing with "monsters". When you were little were you afraid of monsters or "creatures of the night" like vampires, swamp monsters or the chupacabras? Did you have monsters living under your bed or in your closet? What did you do to get rid of them? For me I was afraid of the creatures living in my closet. When the lights would go out they would sneak out of the closet and hide under my bed...waiting for me to put a foot down on the floor so they could grab me! To combat the wave of evil creatures that would lie in wait for me I would take my stuffed animals and line them up around my bed. The would "stay up" all night and guard me from attack. I am not sure when I out grew that. I better go check my closets and under my bed...@_@ Beware of the jiggy Chupacabra! I hope you are all doing well. I am feeling a bit better but I am still not back to my normal self. I did make it to everyone's sites who commented on mine yesterday. Soon I will make it to all my friends on my friend list!    You forced me to do it!!!

I have to unleash my army of cute baby pandas to glomp all of you!! Feel the wave fluffy softness engulf you in obnoxious cuteness!!! Ok, so it really isn't that scary of an army, but have you ever seen anything so cute?! It just gives you cavities from being so flippin' adorable!! Ok, let's move on from the overflowing sweetness of the plethora of chibi pandas. I want to give you guys something. I know it isn't much but it's something I can do...kinda. I love you all. I decided that I didn't want to submit this fan art to the site I wanted to dedicate it to all of my friends here on myO. Your support during my flare ups of Rheumatoid really means a lot to me. It is really hard not to get depressed when I am in pain, but you guys keep my spirits up. For those of you who don't know I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is a painful autoimmune disease that attacks your joints and disfigures them. Currently there is no cure for the disease, only meds to slow down the progression of the disease. I appreciate your friendship and your visits to my site even though I haven't been able to keep up with my visits to your sites. ::huggles:: Thank you all. Oh, I am getting all emotional. I think we need a bishie break. I wonder if Homura would come by my place and nurse me back to health. ~_^ Your answers to yesterday's questions were very entertaining. ^_^ The question for today is an easy one again. What is your middle name? Love it, hate it...doesn't matter just share it. I am a oddity when it comes to middle names. I know I am odd, but more so for the fact that I do not have a middle name. Nope, don't have one. Very odd huh. When I asked my parents about it they just said that they never really thought about it. I was always jealous of my friends who have middle names, even the ones they hated. It just isn't fair. :( Weird huh. Time for some rest. Thanks again for all the visits. You guys rock.    Emus are very good swimmers.

Emu!! Thanks for all the visits and well wishes yesterday. I really appreciate it. I am still not feeling well so this will be another short update. I didn't spend much time online at all today. It's weird not spending time online...it feels like I am really missing out on stuff. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better and I can get back to my usual schedule. ^_^ So, I guess you are wondering about the emu huh. I just thought it was cute. Have you guys ever been around emus? There is a really ill-tempered one running loose here in my hometown. Animal control has been trying to catch it for a while now. He is a sly one. A few times they almost get it but is ends up breaking free. It's not a happy camper either...he'd probably peck your eyes out! When I was working at the vet clinic animal control would stop by to get more drugs for their dart gun. You can shoot that crazy bird full of enough drugs to take down an elephant yet it still runs around like...well...a chicken with it's head cut off. So where am I going with this? I don't know. Let's move on... So cute! My question for today is an easy one. What animal are you most like? Shin, don't say yak. I am sure you all know what my answer is the emu. No, not the emu. The zhu xiong of course!! For those of you who don't know, zhu xiong means "bamboo bear" or as it is better known...the panda! I enjoy eatting, sleeping, playing...you know, the important things in life. Need to sleep off my meds. I hope you are all doing well and I will chat with you soon. Love you all! ::huggles::

   Oh So Sad!

I need a hug!! I am having a major flare up of my arthritis today. Very painful. I will visit your sites when I am feeling better. All my joints hurt. Poor Panda! On top of that did you guys see the Saturday night episode of Wolf's Rain. Oh so sad. I just wish I could have helped poor Toboe! I guess it is the veterinary technician in me that just wants to make the animals feel better. I know it is just an anime but it made me feel so sad! I just sat on the floor next to my dog Heston, who was using me as a pillow, and I watched the episode while petting his head. So very sad. Poor Little Toboe! ;_; Time for a question. If you could be either a Action Hero or Super Hero which would you be? What would your gadgets or powers be? What would be your weakness? Beware of the Panda! I would be a Super Hero with the ability to read minds. My weakness would be that I have arthritis and physically can't do a lot of activities.    The Wild, Wonderful and Wacky World of...

The Wombat!! Why a wombat? Why not a wombat?! They are cute...in a giant guinea pig kind of way! You guys were way too hard on Mr. Yak. Take it easy on the wombat okay. PLUS, yesterday you had plenty of cute panda pictures to make you all happy. ^_^ I am glad you all liked my answers. I will have another panda question day soon. I promise. Today was a day. Not bad, but not exceptionally good day either. Tonight we are having some friends over to play some football on the PS2 and eat pizza. Should be interesting. I wrote up a review of an anime that was actually on the list and submitted it. Hopefully it will be up soon. I plan on doing some more fan art. I went for quite a while without doing any art and now I have the drawing bug again. I'll let you know when I have something posted. I was also thinking of taking pictures of things around the house and posting them here in my blog. Are you guys at all interested in the habitat of this Panda? If you guys are I will do that. If you think that is boring then I won't. Whatcha think? Are you interested in my surroundings? Speaking of pictures... Say cheese!! Now my question for you guys is this. Do you like getting your picture taken or do you like taking pictures more? Are you happier in front or behind the camera? I really like taking pictures. I am not one to really be in the pictures though. I think this stems back to my shy nature. Yes, I am shy. I have worked really hard to overcome it. I get really nervous and anxious around people. I am always worried that they won't like me because of the way I look. After all, I am not a super model. Being shaped much like a panda I am more "rolly-polly" than "oo-la-la". I am definately more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. I'm just kickin' back. Since Mr. Wombat was here to greet you I can just kick back and relax. After all it is the weekend.    Panda answers your tough questions!

Welcome to an extra special Panda Expose! All of your deepest darkest panda questions will be answered in this tell all post!! Nothing is held back!! Be prepared for some shocking responses from the Panda you thought you knew!! You will be on the edge of your seat with excitement!! Let's begin answering these questions! Chocobo Gene: Where did Panda come from? You're kidding me, you don't know!?! Well, this particular Panda is a gift from the gods!!! No, wait, what exactly do you mean where did Panda come from? I came from over there. ::points down the hallway:: I am a US born citizen to Japanese parents. I am in Washington State. My nickname was given to me by my hubby back when we first met. I think that covers everything...unless you mean actual pandas. They are from China. zels hoseki: What about the adorable pandas? Pile-o-Pandas! I wouldn't let you guys go without a cute panda picture. I made it back later and posted one yesterday...along with a special treat for those who responded! ^_^ A yak just doesn't have the same sex appeal that a panda does. ~_^ chickenburger: What's with the yak? Back by popular demand....Mr. Yak!! He's a yak, you just need to bask in his yak-y splendor. RavenSama: Did I ever dress up as an anime character for Halloween? If I did, who did I dress up as and did I get any weird looks and/or comments? Arrrrr!! Ahoy mateys! I actually have never dressed up as an anime character for Halloween. People in my small hometown would have no idea what I was. They would probably think I was just a loon. If I were to dress up as a character I would go as the video girl from Battle Royale. In fact I am working on the costume right now. More than likely I will just stick with cosplay at cons. myoshi: If Car A was aproaching Car B, coming from a different direction 240 miles away, as 50 mph and Car B was going 70 mph. How long will it take for the two to meet? Vaaaarrooooooooom!! Arrrgh! Story problems...no!!!! ::panda gets in car C and drives away from story problem at 120 mph.:: Shinigami: What do I think of yaoi and yuri? Love should be unconditional. Love is love. I don't have a problem with boys loving boys and girls loving girls. To each their own. I think if someone doesn't like yaoi or yuri they should just avoid it. I enjoy stories like Gravitation and have been trying to find FAKE...but I haven't been able to find volume 1 yet. Love is blind...it shouldn't matter if the one you love is the same gender as you or a different race or religion. Mimmi: If I were actually a panda, how would I spend my time? Perhaps I will wear a fashionable box on my head. I would probably spend my time in a zoo, eatting bamboo, sleeping, playing with toys. Perhaps have my own webcam so all those panda voyeurs can watch me 24/7. Godel: Why does theOtaku fanbase have such a low standard of fanart? You aren't going out like that are you? I figure it has a lot to do with the age of the artists as part of the issue. Many are just starting out and still need to get some more practice in. As for the lined paper, I see it as being like fashion. If you are willing to leave the house wearing something tacky and have people see you, that is your own problem. I wouldn't want anyone to see my art on lined paper or submit stick figures with my name on it...but if that is what medium they have to work with and that is the best work they can do AND they are willing to put their name to it...it's their name as an artist on the line. Baron Samedi: Of course there is something different about me in that first picture from yesterday!! The haircolor...isn't it obvious?! Sw33tZ: How was my day? D'oh! Well, it was pretty good. Except I had a bit of a brain fart. I was working on a review for an anime and when I went to the list to submit it, it wasn't on the list! ::bangs head against the wall...er...box:: I just assumed it was on the list and I was wrong. Oops. I guess I need to check the list first before just writing up a review. :P Other than that it was a pretty good day. My latest art pieces seem to be doing pretty good. Of course it is only a matter of time before they get voted down. Oh well. I am happy with them.    We've replaced your Panda with a...

Yak, let's see if anyone notices. Sorry guys, I am not going to be able to do an update tonight. I am busy doing some writing for the site and my internet service is acting up. I will be lucky if I get this posted before it goes down again. I will leave the floor open to any questions you guys have for me. I will answer them in tomorrow's post.
