Pandas worry about their friends.
Hang in there!
I made the rounds to some site and there are a few of you who are having some rough times right now. I just want to send a big panda bear hug out to you guys. Remember, if anyone ever needs someone to vent too, feel free to shoot me an email. ::big bear hug to everyone::
I spent the morning feeling really sore. I hate when the weather gets bad, it really messes with my joints. But not to worry. I am feeling much better now. ^_^ I popped in my video of Kumoricon since I did an interview with PMBQ which I am finally getting around to finishing. It is a pretty good interview that I hope everyone will enjoy. ^_^ I only have 2 more to write up...unfortunately I have zero motivation right now. I need to get my panda butt in gear! :P
My bishie break today is a special thank you bishie break!
Thanks!
I really appreciate all your visits. You guys are the best. ^_^ I love you all. ::huggles:: Now for your question of the day! Some of you may have (or have not) noticed Adam's announcement on the front page of theOtaku. He is running a contest dealing with myO blogs. If you haven't heard about it check out the front page. Now my question is...are you going to enter the contest?
I am not going to enter the contest since most of my daily ramblings are not thought provoking. :P I think it is a great opportunity for us to find some other interesting blogs out there. I know there are tons of great myO's that I haven't seen yet. I wish the best to everyone who enters! ^_^
Getting your myO plugged on the front page would be a great benefit on your ranking that is for sure! ~_^
Just hangin'out!
Well, that is about it for me. I need to finish some work, check the fan art, check the boards and visit some sites that I missed today. Love ya all!

I am an entertaining Panda!
Cute!
It was a good day. I got a lot of writing done today so I feel like I at least accomplished something. Had some friends (with dogs) over to sing some karaoke and hang out. I love living in my own house. ^_^
In case you didn't notice, my Kumoricon article has been published on the site. Be sure to check out Kumoricon: Anime Mecca for the City of Roses and let me know what you think of my little article. I also made a photo album you can check out.
I think I am ready for a bishie break now...
Gaiden guys...what hotties.
Now for your question of the day. Can you read a book while in a car? Do you get car sick or are you fine? Do you get motion sickness easily?
I cannot read in the car. I get really sick. REALLY, REALLY SICK. I even get a woozy if I am in a plane and reading. Ugh. Just thinking about it makes me feel sick. As long as I am not reading I don't get motion sick easily. :P
Even more cute than the other piccy!
Thank you all for stopping by and leaving comments. You guys are the best. Take care and have a great week! Love ya all!

Sorry such a late update!
I'm tired...
I stayed out too late yesterday. John's old college roommate Mike's birthday was yesterday. Mike's wife threw a suprise birthday party for him. We were all suppose to be there at 2. Mike had to stay late at work until about 5. So the party didn't start til 5pm. Saw lots of people we hadn't seen in years, it was great fun.
Oh so tired...
Let's take a bishie break...
Sanzo. ^_^
Question of the day: Have you ever had a suprise party thrown for you or planned one for someone else? How did it go? Did you keep it a secret?
I have never had a suprise party thrown for me, but I have gone to plenty of suprise parties. This last one was kept a suprise the entire time. It was great to see Mike so suprised by all the turn out. It was really fun. ^_^
Pandas love to party!
That is about it for today. I need to get some more rest. I am still completely exausted. Hope this post made some sense. :P
Love you all and chat with you all later! ^_^

Final Panda Sign Lesson!
This is the most important panda lesson of all!!
Final panda lesson: Just use caution around pandas, you never know what wacky, crazy thing they might do!!
Well, today was an ok day. I got most of my Kumoricon photo album done. When it is ready I will post the link to it so you guys can check out the pics. I am slowly but surely getting everyone's phone numbers back into my phone. Thank goodness. I was feeling a bit lonely not having any phone numbers in my phone.
I am not really sure what to talk about tonight so I will just go to the Bishie Break!
What a cutie!
Now, the question of the day....hmmm, I know! What was your favorite toy as a child?
Do you still own this toy? What about it did/do you love so much?
My favorite toy is a stuffed horse my parents bought me when I was 3 years old and in the hospital. I named him Charlie (Yeah, I know, he's a Charlie Horse) and he has always made me feel safe. I still have him now which makes him 25 years old this past August! I think my little stuffed horse is older than many of you! LOL
He is so special to me when John and I got married we had a memory table that had pictures and stuff from when we were growing up and Charlie got to sit at the center of the table. ^_^
Doesn't it just make you feel all warm and fuzzy thinking about your favorite toy?!
I hope all is going well and I wish you all the best this weekend. Love you all!

This Space for Rent
Sorry guys, I couldn't think of a good title for this post. :P
No Smoking!
Panda lesson: As you can see, even the ancient cave pandas have carved in stone this very important message for future generations. Be healthy and considerate to those around you, pandas say NO SMOKING!
I got my new phone today. It is a Samsung e316. It's pretty nice but I really need to download a good ringtone since the ones that come with the phone are really obnoxious. It also has a camera on it. Pretty cool huh. Unfortunately for me, they told me that they transfered my phone numbers off my old phone to the new one. They didn't so I have to get all my friends and family to give me their numbers again. So give me your number if I had it before...or if you want me to call you! :P
It is going to be a major pain in the bottom inputting all those names and numbers again, but for my friends I am more than happy to do it. ^_^
Bishie Break time!
Why don't I ever see cute guys like this at the bar?!?!
My question for everyone is this: Have you ever tried smoking? Did you do it because of peer pressure? What did you think of it?
I have to admit that I have smoked before. I tried it back in high school since my friends were, but they didn't pressure me into it. I guess it was more out of curiosity of what was so flippin' great about it. Never got into it since it just wasn't me and the health problems it causes are not worth it. Icky.
Cute piccy huh, it just made me smile when I saw it so I wanted to share it with you guys. ^_^
That is about it. I have some more writing to do and I am putting the finishing touches on my photo album of Kumoricon pics. I hope everyone is doing well and I appreciate all your well wishes for my mom. You guys rock! Love you all!

Busy, busy, busy...
::sniff, sniff:: Do you guys smell something?
Today lesson: Pandas don't always watch where they are walking.
My phone is dead. I am going to go buy a new phone tomorrow. I took it into the phone place and they said I could send it off to be repaired, but they couldn't guarantee anything...but if I buy a new phone it would come with a warranty. So needless to say I shopped around today and found a phone I like. It will be so nice to have a phone again.
I did go to Seattle today with my parents. My mom had to go to a doctor appointment. She has to have surgery on her elbow. Last summer she had the left side replaced and in 2 weeks she is going to have the right one done. The arthritis has basically eatten away at the joint so much she has to have them replaced. This is what I get to look forward to..ugh. On an up note we did have lunch at my uncle's Japanese restaurant and got to go shopping at Uwajimaya, a Japanese grocery/gift store. I got a bunch of snacks including "Hello Panda" cookies! Neat-o huh! ^_^
I think it's time for a bishie break!
I wouldn't mind snuggling up to Sanzo and keeping him warm. ~_^
Now for your question of the day! What is the most nasty, gross, icky thing you have ever stepped in?
I would have to say the worst thing I have stepped into was a placenta on the floor of the surgery suite when I was working at the veterinary clinic. They are green, bloody and slimy. The green stuff stains your clothes and stinks. It got on my shoes and made them all nasty. Ugh. Icky!
Ewwww, stinky smelly pandas!
Hope all is going well for all of you who have gone back to school. Best of luck to a wonderful school year! Take care and I love you all!

Snacks! Mmmmm...Yummy!
After all, we all know you are what you eat!
Panda sign lesson- Pandas realize that you are what you eat, thus, pandas like to eat things that are sweet!
So today was an okay day except for the fact that my cell phone died. But not completely which is what makes it even worse. I can hear people when they call, but they can't hear me. ugh. John called me several times and the last time he called I could hear him telling his co-workers that "I bet Gail is really mad right now." I was yelling into the phone "YES, YES I AM REALLY MAD RIGHT NOW!!" Grrr.
Anywho. I promised that I would mention something about the con today. I finished writing up one of three articles that I am submitting to theOtaku so be sure to keep an eye out for those. I think, because my dear BankofKev wants me to talk about it, the Sailor Moon Slumber Party. ::sigh:: Ok, so John and Kev see on the schedule there is a gathering where you are suppose to show up in your pajamas with pillows in tow so you can sit around and watch some videos. SOMEHOW they convince me to put my panda jammies, panda hoodie (which I made) and my panda plushie backpack on and go to this event. Please note, they are still in their regular clothes.
I waddle down to the room and before I even get to the room, the smell hit me. HOBO...Horrible Otaku Body Odor...oozed out of the room. I look at Kev with a very pathetic look on my face and mouthed the words..."Don't make me go in there!" He of course thinks this is just hilarious and starts to laugh at me. I felt like a little kid begging my parents not to drop me off at the slumber party. I just wanted to go home! So, needless to say, I didn't go to the slumber party, but ended up wandering around the con in my panda jammies instead. I must say it was more embarrassing, but not as stinky. :P
Let's have a nice little bishie break right now!
Cute chibi kamui, just want to eat him up!
I kinda forgot to post this before I left for the con so here is my birthday greeting to everyone with a September birthday. I am sorry if I missed your birthday if it has already happened. Better late than never!
Happy Birthday September Babies!!
Now, question of the day. Have your friends ever made you do something you didn't want to do? Like wear your jammies out in public? Eat something gross? Sing karaoke in front of a big crowd?
You all know what my answer is...yes. I of course, being the cheesy panda that I am will go along with it. Need proof, look at this!
The panda jammies pants have cute chibi pandas printed all over them!
Not my best picture, but you have to give me a break, I was running on a couple of hours of sleep, feeling very arthritic AND just experienced some really bad HOBO. I dare anyone to look better than me after all of that! :P
Well, I need to finish up my articles and try to make the rounds to everyone's sites. I really did miss you all very much and I am really happy to be back home here on theOtaku. Love ya all!

I am back!
I'm a dancin' fool!
I am finally back home after Kumoricon. I will have an article up on the site about my little adventure soon. I still have to get organized. It was a good time. Still very tired. While there I had a bit of a flare up with my arthritis so it was pretty tough getting out of bed in the morning. But it was all worth it. I had a great time.
Now, lesson time! As you can see by this sign, pandas like to dance. They may not dance well, but they like to dance. Just give pandas a DDR pad and they are good to go!
Bishie Break time!
I wonder if Hakuryu knows the guys have another vehicle?
Now for your question of the day! I know you have all been missing it. :P What is your astrological sign? Do you believe they tell your personality type? Or do you think it is just a bunch of silliness?
I am a Capricorn. I like to think of the astrological signs as entertainment. Many of the personality traits are so broad that they can fit almost anyone. As for Chinese calendar, I was born in the year of the Dragon. Same thing there, it's all just in fun.
zzzzz
Well, it has been one very long weekend with many stories to tell. I will get some rest and give you guys a proper update tomorrow. Missed you all very much and I am happy to be home. ^_^

Pack-O-Pandas!!
Don't say I didn't warn you!!
Okay kids, I am back! Thanks for all your well wishes. The doctor's appointment was boring. Got a ton of blood drawn, have to go back in 2 weeks. Panda the Pin Cushion is what you can call me. :P My hands still hurt but at least I can type. I was going bonkers yesterday not being able to do anything. I couldn't even open the refrigerator door to get something to drink! Waaaaa!
Enough of this self pity, time to get back to our panda sign lesson! Today's lesson: Beware of Panda Gangs. Much more dangerous than a rabid pack of wolves...a Pack-O-Pandas are an obnoxiously cute bunch who when you least expect it, knock you down! If you see a Pack-O-Pandas comin' down your street, be careful!
Now I am going to be gone this weekend since I will be at Kumoricon. Remember....
Come see me!
Since I am going to be gone that means you get the entire weekend off from the Panda Sign lessons and questions of the day. PLUS, I am not going to leave you with homework either. Now don't you wish I were your teacher in school?! Now I don't want to spoil you guys. I want you to all grow up to be doctors. You don't want to have a blue collar job like a mechanic and be all greasy all the time now do you? Unless....
Hmm, blue collar work isn't so bad I guess....
Well, I will leave you with a question for today. Have you ever been in a fight? What happened to cause the fight? Was it stopped or did someone "win"?
I have to admit, I was in a fight in grade school. I was in 3rd grade and on the playground a boy was calling my friends and I names. We just ignored him until he started to use racial slurs at us. I just snapped. I can handle teasing and name calling but when you start in on racial slurs..that is stepping over the line with me. I ran up to him and grabbed his hands and twisted his fingers until he started to cry. This boy was twice my size and I made him cry. Of course he said he was going to tell the teacher and I said to go ahead and do that since I will tell her what he said to us. Needless to say he didn't want to get into trouble for his comments and let everyone know a little girl made him cry. :P
Fighting is bad. Don't do it. I haven't been in a fight since then. No one ever picked a fight with me or my friends after that. Just like the sign tells you...Watch out for those pandas!
I'll see you when I get back!!
I wish you all a wonderful weekend. I will be back with lots of stuff to tell you about the con and all the interesting events. Take care and thanks again for all the well wishes yesterday. I do feel a whole lot better. Love ya all!

Good Advice from Panda.
Don't be a litter bug.
Hi this is John. Gail can't do an update tonight since her hands are so sore. She has a doctor's appointment tomorrow so hopefully she will get some advice from him as to what she can do to make her pain go away.
She just wanted me to at least put the panda sign up and said to remember the sign is giving you good advice. She said she will be back as soon as her hands stop hurting.
Her question for the day is about garbage. Are you good at recycling or do you just throw things away?
That is about it. Panda will be back soon.
