Thanks for the friendship!
Cute and Cuddly!
Thanks again for all the well wishes. I appreciate the comments and phone calls. I really love you guys. ^_^ I spent all of today in bed feeling sick. I can't wait until I get regulated on the meds so I can be myself again. Things will be ok, just gotta get through this medication rollercoaster. ^_^
John just made me a little bit of soup and it was really tasty. I am a very lucky panda to have such great people who love me and worry about my health. I truly am blessed. ::hugs everyone tightly::
Let's take a bishie break...
Tenpou and Kenren...yummy!
Question for the day...What was the last game you played? Was it a video game? Card game? Board game? Or was it something else like a party game like spin the bottle or a scavenger hunt?
Last game I played was Simpson's Hit and Run on the PS2. It was fun, it was mindless, it was good. :P
I am going to get going since my arm is still sore. It feels better than yesterday so hopefully the new meds are starting to work. ^_^ Love you all!

Dance to the music!
Dancin' panda!
Thank you all for all your well wishes. I am feeling ok today but today was just the first day of taking my new meds. So far, only felt a bit of an upset tummy. My right shoulder really hurts today. I am not sure if the arthritis is moving into that joint too. I can't even lift my right arm up. Because of that I am going to make this a very short post. I will make it to everyone's sites when my arm get's well. Poor panda...
Time for a well deserved Bishie Break!
Those bishie Saiyuki guys always make me feel better. ^_^
Even though I don't feel good right now, I do enjoy DDR when I do feel good. My question for everyone here is...Do you like DDR? Do you play at home or out in public? Would you ever enter a competition?
I love DDR, only willing to play at home, would never do it in public. I don't think everyone wants to see a panda flopping about like a fish out of water!
Let's thank the band for the great dance music tonight!
Thanks again for all the well wishes. Hopefully :: crosses fingers :: this new drug will work better than the old one. Love you all!

If I only had a hammock!
Lazy summer days are the best!
Today was yet another day of mixed emotions. I went to my doctor appointment and the good news...no more Methotrexate injections! Hooray!! So happy!! No more pokes with needles and injections!!
But.....
The bad thing...new medication is a pill I have to take 3x a day AND it has some nasty side effects. My doc said it will cause me to be sick when I first get on it and I have to have my blood work checked every 2 weeks. He also mentioned this drug has the side effect of hairloss just like the Methotrexate does. Ugh. I was so happy thinking that I was getting off the chemo only to get on a new medication that is just as bad if not worse! But if it actually helps me, I am all for changing drugs. I am just glad I don't have to get injections anymore! Of course I now have to get my blood drawn twice as much as I did before. Oh bother.
Let's have a somewhat dark and brooding Bishie Break!
I just love his eyes!
Kiba isn't as dark and brooding as Alex Row...but he does have that quiet, mysterious, loner thing going on. And some really stunning eyes! Now Shin, don't worry about not having a pack of rabid fan girls hunting you down. You have a arthritic Panda who is stalking you! ~_^ Don't you feel special?!
So today I after visiting Sara's site I really wished I could hang out on a hammock all day. It was such a beautiful day the only think I could do after my doctor's appointment was sit on a lawn chair with my dogs standing over me drooling. That just doesn't have the same coolness that a hammock does.
Now my question to you is this...What/where is the most comfortable place you like to relax?
For me it is my bed. I love snuggling up with my pillows and blankets and reading manga. My cats usually sit on the bed next to me purring and it is just so relaxing and comfortable. It really is my happy place. ^_^
Don't you just hate it when you can't get comfy?!
I guess that is about it. I will let you know what that new drug does to me. Hopefully it doesn't make me so sick I can't get online. I guess if you don't hear from me I am sick. I will keep you posted. Love you all!

Super Cute Chibi Post!
Chibi Panda!
Thanks for all the well wishes for my friend. I am sure things are going to work out just fine. ^_^ Sorry I am a bit late on the post today. I was busy working on trying to get my website updated and was having some problems and lost track of time.
I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow. Ugh. It makes me wish I were younger again since I was so much healthier back then. Which is what made me decide on the chibi theme for today. ~_^
Chibi Bishie Break time!
Cute chibi Goku!!
For your question of the day...what is your fondest childhood memory? What do you miss the most about your childhood? What do you miss the least?
I think my fondest memory is watching cartoons on Saturday mornings with my big brother, eatting soup and sandwiches for lunch then going out for the entire afternoon to play. Not a care in the world is what I miss the most. Didn't have to worry about bills or "adult" things. The thing I miss the least is riding the school bus. I hated that. I love being able to drive myself around!
Look at chibi me dancing!
Well, I have to get going. Thanks for stopping by and reading my ramblings. I love you all and will visit your sites soon! Later kids!
Chibi panda playtime!
Oh, and I hope the super sweet chibi-ness of this post didn't give anyone cavities!!

Money is the root of all evil.
Woo Hoo! Pandas can get away with anything!!
So today was a day filled with many mixed emotions. I woke up to the sound of my phone. One of my friends got fired from her job with no reason, no warning, no nothing. Just turn in your key, here's your paycheck, there's the door. It was really weird since just last week at her work it was "everything is great!" from her boss. So I spent the day with her cheering her up. Going to a dessert bar was a tasty way to drown her sorrows. Things are ok now, she already has a new job! It's at the vet clinic I use to work at. ^_^ It was pretty fun, we went into the vet clinic and I got to visit with my old co-workers and my old boss. He was telling me when the weather is bad he thinks about me and if I am feeling ok. He is such a great guy. ^_^
Anyway, we are just viewing this as a little vacation for her before starting at the clinic. She starts Monday. I am very happy she doesn't have to worry about finding a job. She has bills to pay and seeing how this came out of left field it was like someone dropped a bomb on her. Thank goodness things worked out. The day started out bad and ended on an up note. Hooray!
Ok, so moving on to the theme of today's post. My dear friend, BankofKev, who you may have noticed leaving me comments, gave me a little mission of finding something that could work as a mascot for us. Thus the pandas robbing the bank. :P I am still looking for the perfect mascot, but I just wanted him to know that I am still on the job. I will not give up until I find the perfect BankofKev/Panda mascot!
Now, let's take a moment for a dark and brooding bishie break....
There is just something sexy about a dark and brooding man...
Dark and brooding, that is how I felt this morning...but now I am back to being my happy panda self!
If only I were rich...
Now since this post has been about money...let's continue on! My question for the day is this...Are you good with money? Can you save money or are you a spender? If given a million dollars, what would you do with it?
I am BAD with money. ::looks at comic:: That is were I would be if it weren't for John! I am a spender. I love to spend money. I am getting better, but if you gave me money and a place to spend it, it would be spent. All and all, if given a million dollars I would pay off my bills, put some away and give myself a little fun money to just buy stuff. If only I had a million dollars...but wait!
Perhaps this plan will work for me!!
Just kidding. I never buy lottery tickets. Of course these tickets with pandas might make me want to buy them! :P
Thanks for stopping by and reading my ramblings. I love you all and I hope your week is progressing a bit better than my friend. Later kids!

Play ball!!
I'm having a ball!
It's been a good day. I got confirmation today that I have an interview set up with PMBQ the creator of the online comic "Tea Club" at Kumoricon. She does a great job with pandas too. The ninja panda, sumo panda, cupid panda and big butt panda are some of my favorites. ^_^ So remember if you are in the Portland, Oregon area September 4 to 6th be sure to check out Kumoricon. I'll be there!
I am really looking forward to Kumoricon. It is going to be fun. I have 2 interviews set up while I am there so it should be interesting. Things are looking up for me. ^_^ Be sure to come find me at the Robotech Panels on Saturday 12 and 5!!!
Let's take a few moments for a Bishie Break!
Saiyuki bishie goodness...
Now the question of the day! What is your favorite sport? Do you enjoy just watching or playing it?
I have enjoyed Tae Kwon Do and basketball. I use to play b-ball in school and did Tae Kwon Do afterschool. It was a lot of fun, but it took a lot of time. As I got older I had to quit sports to concentrate on my studies. I still enjoy playing b-ball with friends. No more TKD for me though, arthritis doesn't put me in the best shape for freesparring or board breaking. :P
I just can't play ball like I did when I was younger....
Well, it's been a good day. Hope everyone else is having a great week. I will chat with you all later! Love you all!

Plump Panda=Diet
OMG, I really need to loose some weight!
John and I are back from our trip out of town. It was a get together with his classmates. I was out of place, not because I was the only Japanese girl there...but because I was the only one with out a herd of kids AND pregnant. I kid you not, all the women were pregnant except for me!! I am happy to be home and away from all the "when are you going to have kids" questioning. It was 102 degrees out at the park, we stayed for 5 hours and I really have no idea how all these pregnant women could stand the heat!!?? I have gained a few extra pounds and that heat was killing me, I have no idea what it would be like to be 8 months pregnant and out there!
I am so happy to be home in the air conditioning and away from all the sticky children. Let's move on to something much more pleasant...Bishie Break time!
They are just so cute!
Now for my question of the day! Are you in good shape? Are you happy with your physical appearance and weight? If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
I am in a shape, not a good one. It has become very difficult to keep up on my exercise with the pain from my arthritis. I have gained a few extra pounds that need to be lost, but I know they will just come off as soon as I get back to exercising and STOP going to all of these BBQ and parties! I started my exercising again but the massive amount of BBQ's that we have been going to haven't been helping. Ugh. I am so jealous of you guys who can eat everything and not gain weight. Darn you!
The only thing I would change about myself would be something I am already working on...losing that extra weight. Otherwise I am happy with myself. ^_^
I will start that diet as soon as I finish this snack...
I am sorry for not updating yesterday or making to everyones sites. I hope everyone has a great week and I will chat with you all later. Love you all!

I gotta ask you a question....
::whispers:: Hey, can I tell you a secret?
Today was a pretty good day, no complaints. I got a bunch of stuff done around the house, spent some time on the boards slaying the spam in the OL and getting some interviews set up. All in all, very productive day. ^_^
I am going to have a special Bishie Break today...
A youkai bishie break!
Now for the question of the day. For some reason it seems like everyone tells me their secrets. I feel honored since it means I am trusted with this information. I have tried to do this back with a few friends who then "spilled the beans." Have you ever shared a secret with a friend to only have them tell your secret? What did you do when the secret came out? Do you keep your secrets to yourself now or are you still willing to share your secrets with a select few?
I can't believe you told my secret!!!
I don't really have very many secrets. All and all I think my life is pretty open. I don't always share everything with everyone since I don't think anyone would really care. I do remember this one time I told my best friend in junior high about the crush I had, she spilled the beans I was totally embarrassed. Other than that there haven't been any real life altering secrets in my life. I guess it goes back to my life being an open book. It's large print with lots of pictures. :P
I'll bake some cookies for everyone!
I think we all deserve some good homebaked cookies. ^_^ ::passes out panda shaped sugar cookies::
Well, I love you all and I will chat with you later. Hope you all have a great weekend. John and I are going out of town so I may/maynot be back in time to put up an update. We'll just play it by ear. Take some cookies and have a good one!! ^_^

Crates...Fun for People and Pandas!
Crate...tasty...
So, have you guys noticed that it seems as though pandas have a thing for boxes and crates? It seems like I have a bunch of pictures of pandas in boxes or playing with crates. I guess this just shows how easily amused pandas are. :P
Today was a good day. Had to go get some more blood work done...not only am I a drug guinea pig I am also a pin cushion! I think they should just put in a tap, this way they don't have to keep poking me with needles!! My mom came with me and we went out shopping and to lunch. It was a good time. She bought me a new skirt (it has a bamboo pattern!) and green blouse. It's a really cute outfit. Even though I had to go to the doctor, at least I got a new outfit! ^_^
After a nice day shopping with my mom my dad wanted to go out to dinner. So when John finished work we went out to this nice Italian place. They had pianist playing classical pieces while we enjoyed our meal. We got to visit and eat tons of pasta. It really was a great way to finish off the day. I haven't felt this good in weeks. I am very happy right now. ^_^
What could make it a better day...a Bishie Break!
I just love this picture...Sanzo....::sigh::
Seeing how I have this box/crate theme going, I have to have a matching question! When you were a kid did you ever play with boxes...like those giant cardboard boxes that appliances come in? How did you play with them and if you had one of those huge boxes right now...what would you do with it?
Weeeeeeee!!!
I use to love to play with those huge boxes. My brother and I would take the box..usually a fridge box or one that a washer and dryer came in, and pretend it was a rocket ship or tank. Other times I remember using it like a fort. Those were some good times. If I had a box right now I would probably use it to play with the dogs. I would crawl inside and move the box around...it would probably freak my dogs out! LOL
Crates...great toy and fashionable head gear!
Well, I hope everyone is having a great day. Thanks for all the supportive comments, I really to appreciate them and they really do make me feel better. I love you guys, you really are the best. I'll see you guys around!! ^_^

Come hang out with a Panda!
Come hang out with me...don't worry, it's not in a tree!
With everything going on in my wacky life it is nice to have something fun to look forward too. John is going to take me to Kumoricon in Portland, Oregon during Labor Day weekend. The con goes from the 4th through the 6th. It is at the Downtown Marriott so if you are in the area be sure to attend the con. If you can make it let me know so we can meet up!
One of my favorite things in the world is meeting the friends I have made online. I did get to meet Mamma Vash at Anime Expo and I would love to meet more of my online friends at Kumoricon!! Party with a Panda!! ^_^ I will be at both Robotech panels on Saturday the 4th.
Don't forget to put it in your calendars!
As many of you know, Robotech is one of my all time favorites. It is actually what got me really into anime. I had always watched anime, but never really loved it. Now my question of the day is going to be an easy one for all of you otaku anime fans. What anime hooked you into the fandom? What made you love it so much and what is your current favorite?
Since I already answered the first part of my question, my current favorite is Saiyuki. Which I probably didn't have to tell you guys that either. Ah Bishies..can't go wrong. ^_^ Speaking of which, I forgot my Bishie Break today. Well, those boys need a day off once in awhile. ~_^
Thanks for stopping by my blog and reading my ramblings. I will leave you with this piece of fan art that was made for me..of me. Love ya all!
So..what does it mean when you start getting fan art of you?
