What's all this then?!?!
Pandas are law abiding citizens!!
I am a fairly law abiding individual. I can't say I have never broken the law, but the major ones I have not...you know, stealing things, killing people..that kind of stuff. Just little things like I've had 2 speeding tickets. I feel the need for speed!! :P
Today I was driving through town when I saw something that disturbed me. It was a teenage girl using an eyelash curler while driving! Girls (and maybe some of you boys with interesting hobbies) will agree with me that an eyelash curler is evil!! Not only is it evil but it is something you should never use while driving! What a loon. This just re-enforces my desire to stay in my home and never leave. @_@
Now let's take a break from the worries and stresses of the past week...time for a Bishie Break!!
Ah, isn't that better? I know I feel much happier now. ~_^
Ok kids, time for you all to come clean and tell the truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth! Question of the day time!
In your hometown what is the craziest law breaking thing you have heard of? What happened to the criminals? Have you ever broken the law?
In my town, which is filled with looney people, has had sooooo many stupid criminals I am not sure where to start. I guess one of the stupid things that happened was someone climbed over the gated area of a local lawn and garden center. Lifted, yes LIFTED a riding lawn mower over the fence and drove it off into oblivion! The cops knew the mover was driven away since it was leaving a trail of oil as it went down the road. The funny thing, the person got away with it! The crazy thing is no one saw the criminal!! I don't know about you but seeing someone driving a riding lawn mower down the middle of the the street, downtown, I think I might make mental note of that as being a bit odd.
As for my criminal record....only 2 speeding tickets. I am a good little Panda!! ^_^
Well, it's been fun. I get to doggie sit this weekend. It should be fun. My dogs love having other dogs over to play with. It is like being in a house of 2 year olds. Lots of yelling by me to stop doing something and them ignoring me. It should be a good time. :P
Hope everyone has a great weekend and be on the look out around theO, Adam is going to be adding something to the site hopefully this weekend. ::crosses fingers:: Well, I am going to take a nap then hit some myO sites. Naps are good. I love taking naps. It helps a panda from being cranky. ~_^ Love ya all!!
Nap Time, not just for toddlers and senior citizens anymore!

Panda Play Day!
Pandas on playground equipment= Danger!!
Ok, so when I say play day I mean I had some fun today, not really going to the playground. Plus, me at a playground equals trouble!! I'll get into that later. My mom and dad called me up and wanted to take John and I out to lunch. We went out for Japanese food...yummy. I had some Torikatsu-don and it was so filling. I love it. On the menu they had Onirigiri and it made me think of being a little kid. I got all excited and pointed it out to my mom and she just laughed and asked me if I didn't have enough of those growing up. I swear, it was my favorite snack. Going out to lunch with my parents was a blast. We talked about tons of stuff. My mom has RA like I do and we talked about our aches and pains. She is actually in better shape right now than I am! Poor me!!
So, getting back to the subject of Pandas and Playgrounds. I was a very, VERY dangerous child. I was such a tomboy growing up that I was always getting hurt doing things I shouldn't be doing. If there was a tree..I would be in it....at least until I fell out. >.<
When I was little I broke my arm. It was the 4th of July and I was on some monkey bars. My big brother was there as well as a few of my dad's co-workers' kids. My brother told me to be careful, but I was just as tough as him so I knew I could handle it. Yes, this is where the "I told you so" comes into play...I lost my grip and fell as I was swinging to the next bar. I fell backwards and put my arm out behind me. *CRUNCH!!* Broke my arm. I went to the hospital and got a cast. It was pretty cool to have a cast! My doctor told me I could not use it as a weapon to beat my brother. Sheesh, my doc knew me well. :P
Here is a graphic re-enactment of the events of that day.....
Pandas can't be trusted on monkey bars!!
I really do think that the safest thing for pandas is just to stay seated and not move at all....unless it is to eat some bamboo! It really is dangerous being a panda at a playground!!
Now, my question to everyone is this...Have you ever broken a bone? When did it happen and what did you break? If you haven't, did you have a family member or friend who did? Did you think having a cast would be cool since people could sign it?
Well, you guys already know that I broke my arm. I thought the cast was cool since it showed everyone how "tough" I was. I was doing stuff "with the guys" and I was a rough and tumble kinda girl. It was fun getting all the attention and getting it signed..but it was so hot and itchy! Especially since it was in the middle of summer!! Ugh. If I break any bones I am going to make sure I do it during cooler weather!! :P
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day and we are sliding into the weekend it should only get better! Love you all and hope everyone is as happy as I am right now.
Smile!! A Panda Loves You!!

.Hack/Panda?!?!
Isn't Crim suppose to be riding a grunty with sunglasses?
Don't worry kids, I am done with my ultra violent mood I have been in for the past few days. I think it's from watching stuff like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill and Battle Royale. So I have switched gears and have been watching some "friendlier" programming.
So last night I was in a bit of a .Hack mood. Watched some .Hack/Legend of the Twilight. I decided I am adding Balmung to my list of bishies. He doesn't rank as high as Sanzo or Eiri....but he makes the cut. There is just something appealing about having a guy running in at the nick of time to battle a monster to save you.
My, what a big sword you have!
Now, the question of the day. Do you prefer video games, board games or card games? What is your favorite game? What makes it your favorite game over other games?
I actually like card games the best. When I say cards I mean regular old fashioned playing cards, the kind you play poker or solitaire with. I think I like card games since they are are so low tech. You don't need an external power source to play. You can play by yourself or with a group of friend. Make up games or play games that everyone knows like poker. They (cards) just seem more versatile to me which is what I like about it.
Perhaps I should get into other card games....
Very short update today. I didn't get to sleep again til 4am and I am not sure how long this insomnia is going to last. I wish I could get back to a regular sleep cycle. I really do think this lack of sleep is making me a bit on edge. I responded to a post on the OB and someone took one of my statements the wrong way. I tried to explain, but still, I hate it when people take what I say the wrong way and put words in my mouth. I think I am going to bed...for the entire day. Ugh. I love you all and I hope you are having a groovy day.

I have an idea for the OB spammers!!
Perhaps by initiating the BR Act!!
Ok maybe going Battle Royale on the spammer would be a bit much, but sometimes you really just need to get your point across!! Well, the real reason I am talking about BR is because I really don't have anything I can think of to talk about. I didn't get much sleep again last night and I am really sore today. If the OB did go BR I know what job I would get! There is only one job for a sweet, cheery, happy Panda.....
This would be the perfect job for me if we went BR!!
Super short description for those of you who have not seen Battle Royale. A class is picked at random to be put on an island and fight to the death. The last one alive gets to go home. Just for fun I am going to post this for you guys.

Now the question of the day. If you were stuck in a Battle Royale situation. Would you participate? What weapon do you think you would end up with? Would you be willing to kill your classmates to survive?
Well, with my luck I would get some stupid weapon...like the paper fan. I would just hide/avoid everyone until the end. That way there would only be one person you have to kill to survive. I don't think I could kill my classmates so that is why I could go that hiding route to survive.
I would be dead right away if I were in BR.
Well, I guess I have wasted enough of your time. Hope everyone is having a great day and I love ya all.

More proof pandas are easily entertained.
Sometimes the simple things in life are the best.
I didn't go to sleep until 4am. I just couldn't sleep. Lucky for me Pulp Fiction was on IFC so I had something to watch besides cheesy infomercials and repeats of old shows. I stayed up just looking through the OB and reading some odds and ends of posts. The spam seems to be coming back. I wonder if spammer have a life at all. Of course who am I to judge since I am up at 4am reading the spam! :P
Now getting back to the simple things....
Gojyo really is bishie goodness isn't he!
Get this, John is friends with a guy who is a real life Gojyo. Last time I saw TJ he was wearing a cowboy hat, baggy jeans that barely hung on to his hips, no shirt so you could see his muscular tan chest, he has this wonderful exotic look to him since he is of mixed heritage. He is tall, thin and just...a real life bishie! It is really funny since John has been calling TJ "Gojyo". John's co-worker came over and I had my Saiyuki manga sitting out. Vol 3 has Gojyo on the cover and she is like...OMG, it's TJ! I could just spend the day looking at TJ and not be bored...truly the simple things in life are the best. I really need to get a picture of him to post for you girls. ~_^
So what is the simplest activity you like to do to keep yourself from being bored? Why do you get so much joy from something so simple?
I enjoy looking at Minekura's art books. I never get tired of looking at bishies. Hmmm, bishies....yummy. ^_^ I think I get so much enjoyment from looking at the pictures is because they are so cute. There aren't many guys who actually look like that in real life...it gives me something to dream about.
Or perhaps you can just say that pandas are easily entertained....
Just give a panda a tire and it's a rip roaring good time!
Thanks everyone for all the well wishes yesterday. It is amazing that I have had that many visits. What is more amazing is thinking back a few months when James deleted...yes DELETED 2000 hits from his myO site so someone else could be in the #1 spot...yet look at where he still is in the ranks!! That is with 2000 hits subtracted!! I am never going to make it to the top 50! :P
If I didn't make it to your site today I am sorry. I had some odds and ends to attend too so I will try to make it tomorrow. Sorry! Love you all and hope your week is off to a great start!

You guys are the best!
You guys rock!!
Today was a good day. Yet another hottter than hot day, but I am staying inside with the dogs in the A/C. Thank goodness we have air conditioning. I can't even imagine living here if we didn't have A/C. I love technology. I am feeling a bit tired because of the chemo, but otherwise I am in good spirits. ^_^ I do have some great news!
Thanks everyone for visiting my site, really, you guys rock!
To celebrate this milestone we should have a Panda Party! ::throws confetti:: This brings me to my question of the day! What was the best party you ever went too? What was the worst? When at a party are you the center of attention, hanging out alone watching everyone or somewhere in between?
Best party- Friend's sister's wedding reception when the limo got stolen..it was a good time. (If you want to know more about that story look back a month or two in my blog and you can read about it. :P)
Worst party- 4th of July party with my dad's co-workers when I was a kid. I broke my arm. Breaking your arm really puts a damper on your fun.
Party status- I am usually somewhere in between. I like to mingle and people watch but I am not the center of attention. Last night I think my friends would beg to differ. We had some karaoke fun at my house and I was singing at the top of my lungs "I will survive"...I think that qualifies me as the center of attention. After all, there was no way to escape the melodious sound of my voice!! >.<
Panda Party!!
Thanks again for visiting my site. I really appreciate all the support you guys have given me. I really have a great group of friends here on theOtaku. I love you all. ^_^

I am a sleepy Panda...
I am so tired I am gonna fall asleep at the computer!
This heat is just bringing me down. I just feel like the heat just sucks the energy straight from my body. Perhaps the rant yesterday did me in...but you know, that rant sure got you guys going! Thanks for the responses. I appreciate them. It is nice to know I am not the only one who feels better after a good rant! As a thank you I have treats for everyone!
Nothing like an ice cream treat on a hot day! Tasty!
I had mentioned that I did have some good news. Well, John is going to be the manager of the store he works at! He gets a company vehicle and everything. Neat-o huh! Another thing is that I had an idea for an addition to theOtaku and I ran it by Adam and he says it's a good one. I am not going to say anything quite yet (yes, I am doing that thing that James always does to us...he's such a tease!) but I promise as soon as things are in motion I will spill the beans. ^_^
One of John's friends dropped by the house on his way through town. He was on his way back home to Seattle from South Dakota. I guess he is working on putting together some concert to help the Native Americans..some sort of fund raiser. He was telling us about some of the people who are going to be performing and one of the bands is Pearl Jam! He actually talks to Eddie Vedder alot! In high school I was in love with Pearl Jam so as soon as he mentioned the band I went all fan girl on him. I swear..I need to learn some self control. ::thinks back to screaming like a fool at AX cosplay masquerade at Bad Luck/Nittle Grasper skit:: I am so embarrassed. At least John is use to me freaking out like that...thank goodness!
Things have been pretty good for me the last couple of days. To top it off I have a very rare picture to share with you guys...
He is so cute when he smiles!
Can you believe it! A picture of Sanzo actually smiling! This is actually only the 2nd one I have found! If anyone finds more, be sure to send them my way. Just looking at that pic makes me smile! ^_^
Ok, question time!
What is your favorite hot weather treat? Do you like ice cream? Shaved ice? Just a nice cool drink? What treat just makes your hot summer day better?
For me, I love root beer floats or chocolate milkshakes. I am torn between the two. Last night I had a root beer float and I just reminded me of being younger and tagging along with my brother to all his Little League games. After the games they would always go out for root beer floats and since I was always tagging along...I got one too! What great memories.
Well, time for me to get going. Hope everyone is having a great weekend and I will catch up with everyone later. Love you all!

Beware of the Panda Bear!!!
This is what I think of stupid people!
If you couldn't guess already I am in a bit of a mood. Perhaps it is the constant blazing hot weather I am suffering through which is making me irritable or maybe I am just being a moody Panda...who knows. Anyway, I feel it is time for me to fire up my rant engine and let loose some feelings that I need to get off my chest. If you would rather not read my rant just look for the "End Panda Rant Engine" icon and then you will know it is safe to read my blog again. ^_^
I really, really hate people who submit stolen art as their own to theOtaku. I am not sure if they think the moderators are stupid or what, but it really makes me mad. Yesterday I was going through the fan art approving art when I came across this art that looked really nice. I was quite impressed. But something wasn't quite right about it. It was stolen art from an artist on yerf.com! Yes, I know furry art, what do you expect from someone with a screen name of Panda?!
To top it off they also submitted a couple of screen shots as their own work...one of the screen shots had the subtitles still on it!! It was soooo obvious that all of it was stolen I am not sure if this person is completely void of common sense or what! I know how much work it is to become a good artist and then there are these jerks who try to take credit for someone's hard work! It really pisses me off! How dare they do this to the artists!!
Not only that, this person submitted each of their piece at least 5x each...under 2 different accounts!! They are stealing art and wasting my time that could be used to do other things for the site!! It's one thing to use images as a fan on your site, but to take credit as being the actual artist in search of praise for it makes me sick! It would be like me trying to take credit for all of Minekura's work! Sheesh! Some people are just plain stupid.
Wow, I feel so much better now. I just needed to get that out of my system. ^_^ Let's move on to the question of the day! (Sheesh, this post seems almost bi-polar, ranting link a loon one minute to being chipper the next! @_@)
Stupid people are everywhere. What is the most stupid thing you have seen someone do? What was the most stupid thing you have done? Do stupid people know they are stupid or are they too stupid to know it?
Someone else being stupid- While I was working at the vet clinic there was a client who brought in their dog since it was sick. It basically had eatten something it wasn't suppose to. We went in to surgically remove the blockage...it was a bag of marijuana!! The dog got into the owners stash and ate the bag of pot! Stupid is doing illegal drugs then leaving it out for your dog to eat...thus risking your dogs life for your habit AND getting caught with a bunch of drugs! Can you imagine if this idiot had kids with them leaving drugs out like that?! Scary!!
Stupid me- There are so many stupid things I have done it is hard to pick just one. Hmm, I think it would be accepting a gift (a cd of my favorite band) from a guy who had a crush on me in high school. He became a bit of a stalker after that. He would send me countless letters, cassette tapes of songs to remind me of him, phone calls, flowers at work, drive by my house at night (mind you, I lived about 10 miles from town so it wasn't like my house was on the way to the store or anything!) and even gave me a ring! @_@ I am dumb for taking that first gift. I still feel bad about that.
As for stupid people knowing if they are stupid, I don't think they know. I guess it goes back to that old saying....ignorance is bliss. :P
I promise to be back to my normal, bishie picture posting self tomorrow. Not to worry about me, I got some great news tonight that I am really excited about. I will clue everyone in later. ^_^ I think we all have days when a good ol' fashioned rant just makes you feel better. ^_^ Love you all and thanks for reading my rant!

It's still too hot!
If only I had a Slip n' Slide!!
Wow, yet another hotter than hot day. It think the sun has taken a new proximity to my hometown...like it is now my next door neighbor! It is really hard being a panda in this heat! The neighbor kids are out using their Slip n' Slide and it sounds like they are having a good time. For those who don't know, a Slip n' Slide is a long piece of plastic that has a "sprinkler" built in so you can run and slide on the plastic. I had one when I was growing up and it was lots of fun. Ah, summertime memories...
I wanted to send out a happy birthday wish to all those who have recently had a birthday. You all know how bad I am about remembering birthdays so I think I am going to just have to put a birthday greeting out at the beginning of each month. If I missed your birthday, sorry! Birthday greeting to everyone! :P
I had mentioned to Monkey Orange that I would post some bishie pics for her. So I looked through the pics I had saved on my computer and settled on these...
Hakkai in human and youkai form....he looks sexy either way!
And...
The Saiyuki boys in handcuffs....saucy! ~_^
Ok, enough bishie-ness for right now...moving on to the question of the day!!
What was your all time favorite birthday or any occasion present? What made it so special to you? What is on your wish list right now?
My all time favorite gift was the very first panda drawing John made for me. It's not super fancy, but it was something he made just for me and that means a lot to me more than some super pricey gift. Right now I really don't have anything on my wish list. I wouldn't mind a new car...but I can do without. :P
I guess that is about it for now. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and it continues on to be a great weekend. Love you all!
