Ever wonder how you get into some situations?
Sometimes it just feels like my world is turning upside down.
I stayed home from work for the 3rd day this week. I woke up in pain around 3am and after taking more pain meds and much tossing and turning finally fell back to sleep around 7am. Which is the time I needed to get up. I was so sleepy from my pain meds I couldn't even open my eyes. I eventually got out of bed and puttered around the house. If any good came out of this was I got to spend some extra time reading everyones myO sites! There is always a bright side to every situation. ^_^
I did read all your comments on my last post. I promise not to include any pictures of fan naked men in this post. But I did get my point across didn't I. ~_^ Todays subject is a bit more tame. Much less disturbing. Shoes. I love shoes. I love tall shoes. I am only 5'2" tall so tall shoes are a standard with my outfits. When you are as short as I am if you don't wear heels your pant legs touch the ground. That is not cool. I do have a limit on height though. I am afraid of falling from my shoes if they are too tall. Can you imagine trying to explain those injuries? LOL
I would wear these because they look like fun!
Lately I haven't been able to wear my tall shoes since my RA has been flaring up. But I do have some shoes that have 4 inch heels I wear to work. I can wear them to work since I sit at a desk all day! If I had to stand I would wear sneakers. On a daily basis 3 inch heels are my norm. The tallest I have are 6 inch heels. They are great! Poor John, he has given up most of the closet floor and under the bed to my shoe racks.
Now my question of the day to everyone is this....
What are you favorite pair of shoes right now? Are shoes a fashion accessory to you or just for protecting your feet? What's the craziest pair of shoes you own?
My favorite pair of shoes right now are not shoes, they are slippers. I have these black furry Steve Madden slipper boots that look like panda feet. Since I have been so sore the past week they keep my panda peds nice and warm and they have this great padding at the bottom so it is like walking on pillows. I see shoes as being a fashion accessory but I will only buy good looking shoes if they are comfy. The craziest pair of shoes I own would be my platform boots with 6 inch heels. All I can say about them is...saucy!! ~_^ ::insert cat calls and whistles::
Well, I hope everyone has an excellent day and remember not to judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes. That way you will be in his shoes and a mile away. :P

Pandas can never be supermodels.
Does this bucket make me look fat?
I guess I can never be a supermodel. Pandas just don't have the body for it. Oh well. I guess I have to find another way to make my fortune. ::shrugs:: I definately know I will not make my fortune doing what I did today. I skipped work since I didn't feel very good and spent the day sleeping, watching Saiyuki and looking around at a few myO sites. Speaking of Saiyuki and visiting sites, I did take this quiz from Shinigami...
I thought it was quite funny...a bicycle? It makes me think of this....
This makes me laugh, Sanzo on a bike....too funny! LOL
Ok, now today's post seems to be very image heavy, sorry to all of you on slower than slow dial up connections. ^^;; I think it is time for the question of the day!! Today's question comes with a word, or should I say picture, of warning.
What do you think of online relationships? What do you think of all those match making website out there? Would you ever use one? Do you know anyone who has?
I think starting a relationship online is ok. I don't think you should "fall in love" with anyone without actually meeting them in real life first. And even then have a long friendship first. There are just too many scary "fake" people out there that make it difficult for the honest ones. I have seen the Yahoo personals since one of my old co-workers was very active on it. I think it is a bit lame. You fill out these silly "likes/dislikes" and you can post pictures. I saw about 3 Cindy Crawford pictures posted. Yeah, I am sure those "girls" look just like her. Infact, all with the exact same picture! I would never use one since I am already in a great relationship. I do know of several relationships that started online and continue today. Of course I do know of several that ended being really a waste of time. I guess it comes down to what you feel is best for you.
Now for your PSA (Panda Service Announcement) on internet dating safety! Always remember, the person who says they are a cute boy/girl who wants to be your boy/girlfriend could actually be this!!! (Don't look if you just ate!)
You can't say I didn't warn you!
Thanks for reading my post. I hope everyone has a great day and I will catch you all later. Love ya all!

We need a group hug!
Friends are our pillar of strength when we need support.
Without friends we are all just a mess.
I went around to a few sites today and it seems like there are a lot of people who are having a rough time right now. Friends, family...life...it is all just a bit much to take at times. I want you all to know that I am here if you need someone to vent too. Just send me an email. ^_^
Now, moving on. ^_^
From the responses I got yesterday on how easily entertained everyone is....it looks like we are all easy keepers. So I will give you all something silly to look at!
Ok, now time for the question of the day!
Who do you trust the most in the world? Is it a family member or close friend? Do you share everything with this friend? Would you trust this person with your deepest, darkest secret?
For me, the person I trust the most in the world is John. He is my best friend and my hubby! So he is both family and friend. ^_^ I share everything with him. He has seen me at my best....and worst....and still loves me. He has his place in Heaven already reserved! LOL I do trust him with all my secrets. Like I told you guys, my life is an open book and I don't hide anything from him. He knows my credit card numbers and everything!
Well, I hope everyone is doing well and feels better. If there is one thing I want you to remember after finishing this post is.....pigs are cute with sunglasses! No just kidding. I want you to all know that I am here for all of you and I consider you all my friends. To me there is no difference in online/offline friends. A friend is a friend no matter where in the world they are. If you need someone to talk to, I am here for you. ^_^
Take care, thanks for visiting and I love ya all. Oh, I got some great pictures to add to my posts so be sure to check back tomorrow! ^_^

Sometimes you just have to make your own fun!
Pandas are easily entertained!
Today I stayed home from work since I didn't feel so great. No biggie, I took my meds and slept most of the day. It was nice to stay in bed all day. What made it even better was getting on my computer today and having a bunch of fonts back! Woo Hoo! I guess my fonts just went on a little vacation. ::shrugs:: Some of them are still AWOL, but the ones I really like are back.
Don't you just love this picture, it makes me laugh everytime I see it.
Well, I really don't have too much to talk about today since all I really did was sleep and watch a little bit of anime. I am still watching Hinotori which is on a video tape a friend in Japan sent to me. It is pretty good, definately a change from the stuff I normally watch, but nice stories. Ate some miso soup...I was very Japanese today. LOL
Now, the question of the day!
How easily entertained are you? Can you make your own fun...like making up games and activities....or do you need something planed out for you? What do you do to keep yourself busy that others might find boring?
I am, as the panda picture above clearly shows, easily entertained. I can go people watch at the grocery store and be quite happy. I don't need to spend tons of money to have fun. I can spend hours online just looking at things. Ebay for me is a great way to waste a bunch of time looking at things I will never buy. I think for me the activity I do to keep myself busy that others might find boring would be people watching. I can sit at the mall or where ever and just watch the people who are there shopping. People watching to me is very entertaining. I like getting something like a Cinnabon and coffee and just watch people go by. I wonder what they are doing, why they are wearing what they are wearing and stuff like that. Like I said, I am easily entertained.
Well, I better get going. I will go make the rounds to everyones sites. Take care, have a great day and maybe by tomorrow all my fonts will come back...weird huh.

I am having evil thoughts! Fear the Panda!!
It's really hard to be intimidating when you are a cute panda. ::pouts::
Thanks everyone for visiting and all the support you give me. I really do appreciate it. You guys are what keeps me strong and plugging away everyday. I love going to your sites and keeping up on what's going on in your lives. I haven't really had much time today to visit sites and I apologize for that. The reason why is what is making me have the evil thoughts. I don't think you would have wanted me to visit your sites today with the attitude I had. It was less like the panda pic above and more like this....
(Really, my dog is sweet, honest!)
The reason I was so mad was because I lost all the fonts on my computer. When I say all....I mean ALL. I couldn't do anything on my computer with text since there were no fonts. No Photoshop work, no email...nothing. I spent the majority of the day trying to find them and finally giving up and I started to re-download fonts. I had over 500 fonts that I loved to use in buttons, banners and my websites...all gone!! ::cries::
What saved me from going on a wild murderous rampage was visiting some of your sites. Imi has a great comic up right now. Eveyone must check it out. It really helped me today. Imi, you rock! I try not to let things get to me, but this font problem was just a pain in the bum. More irritating than anything else. I know I am not the only one having computer problems. Poor flame060 is having a worse time.
Now, on to the question of the day!
When something or someone upsets you, do you dwell on it? Do you have thoughts of revenge or do you let things go? Have you ever acted on these negative feelings?
I am bad. If something makes me mad, sad, upset....I will dwell on it. I will think about whatever it was over and over...thinking about what I should have done or said. I really wish I could let things go, but for some reason I just think about it over and over. I haven't done anything to get back at whatever hurt me. I just make sure it doesn't happen again.
Thanks again for visiting and sorry for being such a stick in the mud today. I think once I get this font thing figured out I will be back to my chipper self. I think there might be some evil computer gnome that likes to mess with my computer when I go to bed at night. Darn gnomes! It's probably related to the ones that steal socks from the dryer. Grrr!
May everyone have a gnome free day!!

Panda Party!
It's time for a little Panda Party!
But first, I need to tell you why we are going to have a little celebration. Today started out as a very rough day for me. I am really sore, have to start my injections and my cat Harrison got outside and ran off. He is the one who has the deformed front legs and has been strickly and indoor cat. We had some friends from out of town stop by and I think he might have gotten outside when they were bringing things in from their car.
Here's a picture for those who missed it that I posted of Harrison a few months ago. He reminds me of Pikachu!
John and I spent the early hours of the morning (3am) looking for him. He is not use to being outside and we didn't notice he was gone until then. Usually, like with most cats, he hides when guests come over but he ALWAYS crawls up on the bed when we go to sleep. He didn't show up so we knew something was wrong. It was really stormy out, lightning/thunder/rain and he was nowhere to be found. John went around to the neighbors at about 7am and around the neighborhood looking. I stayed at home with all the doors open. John came back home and probably about 9ish Harrison came running into the house! We have no idea where he was hiding, but he is in the house now. Phew!
Now this is one reason I want to have a little celebration. Harrison came home safely. ^_^ Another reason is...
My site today finally went over the 1000 hits mark! Woo Hoo! Thanks you guys for visiting my site! ::throws confetti in air::
Now, the question of the day!
Do you like parties? Would you rather have a small get together with friends, go out to a big party where you might meet new people or stay at home and be by yourself? Durning a party, what do you normally do? Do you mingle? Hang out by the food? Stand in the corner and just people watch? Dance? Run around with a lamp shade on your head? What do you usually do?
I like parties where I know most of the people. I don't mind going someplace with a bunch of people I don't know since, if you couldn't tell, I will visit with everyone! I am not shy when it comes to visiting. At a party I do like to people watch but I am not against mingling. With my group of friends I am usually the one who will entertain everyone. Go figure. All I need is a blonde wig, pink bikini, road side flares and an inflatable kid's pool filled with chocolate pudding and a 3 legged llama....I am a party waiting to happen! @_@
Just kidding, I am not that crazy! :P
I am completely tired from all the stress from the day, but I am feeling very happy right now that all things in the house are back to normal. ^_^ Thanks again for helping my site go over 1000 hits and I will visit all your sites tomorrow when I get some rest. Love you all.

I am not a doctor, but I saw one on television!
Look! It's me in the surgery suite! Note the name tag...it proves it really is me! ~_^
I just got back from out of town visiting my Rheumatologist. I swear, I am just falling apart! Many of you know I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have to take all these nasty drugs. Well, one of them is a chemo drug. I take the chemo pills once a week. On this visit he increased the dosage and changed from pills to injections!! I have to give myself chemo shots! Arrrgh! Oh well, if it makes me better I am all for it. I start tomorrow. I have never given myself shots, only animals. I guess this is karma coming back to get me! LOL
While out of town I did pick up some new manga. John got Naruto vol 2 and I got Alice 19th vol 3. Hooray! After that we went out to dinner and I got a fruity non-alcoholic drink it came in this fancy tall glass with a wedge of pineapple on the rim, maraschino cherry with a yellow umbrella harpooned through it so it stuck into the pineapple wedge. When the server set it down on the table it was taller than me. I look around the side of the fancy foo-foo drink at John who is sitting across from me and all he says to me is "Nice...." It was very tasty but do they really have to make it look so frilly? I should have ordered some food that was on fire to go with my fancy drink! LOL
My drink looked kinda like this one....but bigger. @_@
Ok, enough about my fancy frilly drink, let's move on to the question of the day. I asked this question a while back on the OB and I will now ask it here.
When you were in grade school what did you want to be when you grew up? Do you still want to be that when you grow up or have your plans changed? What are you doing (or going to do) to make this goal a reality?
When I was a little kid I had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up. I always loved animals, but never really thought to much about going into veterinary medicine until I was older. When I did decide that was what I wanted to do I went to college, graduated, got a job at a vet clinic and worked. That is pretty much it. I should start sharing some of the strange animal stories with you guys. Let me tell you, there are some really interesting ones!
On a side note, how many pages of online journal do you guys keep in your myO sites? I am wondering if I should delete some of the older posts I made. I was thinking of cleaning up my server and there are a bunch of images I could toss...but I don't want to toss them if I still have them linked in journal entries. I am just curious. It's not like a major life or death issue, but I wanted to know what you guys did. I kinda like looking at the old posts and reading some of the funny comments left. I am a bit torn by this. Delete or not to delete...that is the question.
Thanks for stopping by! I will catch up on everyone's sites tomorrow. Hope everyone has an excellent weekend and take care! Love ya all! ^_^

Huzzah!!
Wazzzzzup!
Today has been an interesting day. I went to bed last
night feeling pretty sore. I woke up feeling the same
way. Sore enough that even though I go to see my
Rheumatologist tomorrow I needed to go to see a doctor
today. I ended up getting this heavy duty pain med
that has made the pain go away....but has left me
feeling a bit...whispy. So if my post today goes a bit
looney, it is because I am on medication! @_@
Don't worry about me you guys, I am feeling fine,
except for the medicine head feeling I have right now.
I bet that is why the bottle had all those warning
labels on it! :P
Because of my lack of clarity today I am going to keep
this post short..unlike my post yesterday. Which by
the way I must give Mamma Vash the "Most Embarrassing
Outfit" award for wearing the best weird outfit! I
can't say I have ever worn a curtain! Because you
shared with us that lovely outfit you deserve this
award!
Ok, back to the question of the day!
What is the most annoying catch phrase? What phrase do
you use the most? Have you (or your friends) invented
a word or phrase that became popular at your
school/work/where ever?
To me the phrase "Talk to the hand!" is the most
annoying overused, makes me want to bury my head in
the sand sentence used!! Oh yes, and the accompaning
hand jesture that goes with it make me want to break
fingers...theirs, not mine. :P
The phrase I use the most has to be "Huzzah!" Why,
just because. Perhaps I am missing my calling and
should have gone into participating in Ren. Fairs
instead of veterinary medicine! But alas, I am not in
"Ye olde Ren Fair" but still like to say "Huzzah!!"
As for a phrase made up by my friends it would have to
be back in high school and the word was "Lauw". There
was this kid in school and that was the only "word" he
would say. So whenever you were at a loss for words
you would just say "Lauw!" It was a word that everyone
in the school knew and used. Not like it changed the
world as we knew it, but it was a word we made up...or
I should say adopted from that kid. :P
Well, the meds are making me really sleepy so I best
be going. You guys take care and I will see you all
later!
Huzzah!!! |

Time to air out my dirty laundry!
Ok, not really, but I will answer all the questions you guys have asked me! Now, let's get down to business!
JuliasPeach: What made me like Sanzo so much?
I have never been a fan girl until I got into Saiyuki. I love how confident he is, he has had so many trials in his life but he continues on. I admire that trait. I also have a thing for tall guys with blonde hair. ~_^
And for Imi, I think I am going to be adding more Sanzo-ness to my site. I like that idea. Let's get started right now! ^_^
Bishie goodness......
myoshi: How long have John and I been together, how long did we date before hand?
John and I have known each other since 1992. We started dating in 94, got married in 95.
Where was I born and what is my family like.....
I was born here in Washington state. My family is small. My mom, dad and older brother. We are Japanese and have this weirdness to us (as if you couldn't tell by reading my posts!) and my family speaks Japanese at family functions. John is not Japanese but my mom forgets and speaks to him in Japanese. It is kinda funny since he is getting to the point where he understands her! My mom is from Japan, my dad was born here in the states but my grandparents came from Japan. We are relatively new here in the States.
How long did I live there...
Haven't left the state. So I have lived here for 28 years. LOL
Shinigami: What do I think of your art?
I love your art! You are very talented and I wish I could be as gifted. I can't draw people..they end up being really chibi-ish. I really need more pratice. You are great! ^_^
What's with all the pandas?
Waaaay back when John and I were just friends we had this discussion about "If you were a cartoon character, what would you be?" He told me I would be a Panda. He started to call me Panda. Since then, it has stuck. He started buying me panda things and I just kept on collecting them. Pandas are so cute. I am happy he said I would be a panda...it could be worse, I could be a Hippo!!
Monkey Orange: How did I meet my husband?
Ok, I met him at work (movie theater, I was a cashier and he was the projectionist). It was my very first job and when I saw him I knew I was going to be with him forever. I was 16 years old and he was.....21!! He was going to flight school studying to be a flight instructor. I was in high school and he was in college. I had the biggest crush on him. We didn't officially start dating until after I graduated high school. John had this thing about me being "Jail bait". LOL
flame060: Wazzzzzzzzzzzzuuuuup?!?!
Not much really. Working, drawing, answering questions on myO. That's about it. ^_^
poo62: In a past life, what was I.
I really feel like an old soul. I have always felt like I have "been here, done that". Even as a kid I always felt older. I am not sure what I was. I just feel like I have been here before.
Demonsprite: Yes, there is always an open invitation to ask me questions!
Sw33tSamurai90: Why did I choose the name Panda?
John's nickname for me. That is what he calls me and when was the last time you saw a panda and felt sad? Never for me! ^_^
I think I got everyone's questions answered. Feel free to ask me questions anytime. Thanks for Imi I really feel like changing my site layout to something a bit more....Saiyuki. I will have to see if I can find something that will work with both my love of pandas and sanzo. If I find something that will work I will change my site. If not, you guys are stuck with this layout until I figure it out. :P
Now, on to the question of the day!! And yes, I will find a way to tie it into my post title!
What is the strangest outfit you have wore out of the house because you didn't have any clean clothes to wear? Have you ever worn something that should have been washed but because you didn't have anything else to wear, you wore it anyway? Would you wear something with a stain on it or would you get rid of it?
For me. I have left the house wearing a dress I normally only wear at funerals since it was one of the only "nice" things I could find to wear to work. It all black and I looked very goth. Which isn't normally that weird, but when I work with senior citizens the last thing they want to see is someone looking like they are going to a funeral. LOL
I have grabbed my favorite pair of jean out of the laundry to wear. They are my favorite and I didn't want to wear a different pair. They are worn in and comfy!
I don't have many clothes with stains that I keep. I have some "housework" clothes that have stains that I only wear around the house for cleaning. They eventually become oil rags and stuff.
Well, it has been fun kids. I will catch you all later. This has become a very long post, hope you all survived reading it!!

My life is an open book!
Are you ready for my update!?!? I can't hear you!!! Of course I can't hear you, this is an online journal not a telephone!
So, it was back to work for me today and the router for the computers died so that means...NO INTERNET AT WORK!! I just kept trying to reset it to no avail.....I swear, I am such an internet junkie. I think I need to join an internet junkie support group. I wonder if they have one online? :P
I finished a sketch of Ein for my next piece of fan art. I have to get it scanned so I can ink/color it. Do you guys have a suggestion on what I should do next for some fan art? Thanks everyone for checking out my Tama fan art. If you haven't yet...go now!! The turtle waits for your vote!! Thanks also for the compliments on my new banner. I am quite proud of it. Sanzo....yummy.....
Moving on!
I really don't have much to talk about today since not much happened. I am going to do something that I haven't done yet on my site. I am going to open up the floor for questions. Ask me anything and I will give you a truthful answer*. I have been asking you guys questions for quite sometime, I think it is time for you to ask all those questions you have been dying to ask me! I will answer all the questions you leave me in my post tomorrow.
Like the title of my post says, my life is an open book....full of pictures and large print so it is easy to read! I have nothing to hide! Ask me some questions! Don't be shy!
I guess that is about it. I am off to vote on fan art and check the message boards. Hope everyone has a great day and don't forget to ask your favorite Panda a question or 10!
(*within reason...I am not going to give out my credit card numbers or stuff like that. :P)
