   I need some html/web site help!

I need your help. I tried to add this as my intro but the intro box sees the breaks in the html as separate lines, thus showing a non-loading image with the rest of the image addy as text underneath. Do you guys have suggestion on how to fix this? Another thing it is doing is putting my intro text when I type all in one thin column. I will type some stuff in there so you can see what is going on. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am not a graphic designer or web savy gal....now if you need help with your pet, I am your girl...but this...I am lost! Help me!

   Things are changing around here....

The above Genma pic is from Dark Serena and what I use as my avi on the boards. I think I am going to be updating my avi to match my banner. Let's see if I get around to it tonight. I have been having problems with my intro to the site so I think I might work on that before working on a new avi. Oh bother.

   My boss is sooooo cool!

Thanks for all the support with Mr. Creepy Shoe Guy. I swear, I have been so stressed about having to deal with that loon. My boss calls from Maui (I am sooooo jealous) and I tell her what is going on. She said she would take care of him. So she called him from Maui to change his appointment AND her husband is going to come into the office when he's here. Her hubby is a really big guy. Not big like fat, big like he would protect you from anything (ie bears, wild dogs, bigfoot, creepy shoe guys...those sorts of things). I feel so much better now! I was starting to worry that Mr. Creepy Shoe Guy might turn into Mr. Psycho Pants Man....scary!!! This guy wanted me to try on his shoes.....god only knows what he would want me to try on when I am alone in the office!! @_@ I know if anything weird happened I would run next door. There is an office of 8 lawyers (all guys) and their staff. I know I would be ok. Just the thought though.....who asks someone to try on their shoes?!?!? Now that I am not so freaked out by the thought of being alone with Mr. Creepy Shoe Guy I am seeing how funny this must look from the outside. These kind of things are always much funnier when they are not happening to you.

   I am not sure how to feel today.

At work there is this guy, totally creeps me out, and he is going to be coming into the office tomorrow to pick up something. It was suppose to be in yesterday, but won't be here until tomorrow afternoon. He is planing on coming by in the morning. I really don't like dealing with him and now I have to tell him that he has to come back later. He is one of those guys who blames you because the mail is late or whatever. Just thinking about it is giving me stress. I don't even want to show up tomorrow....arrgh. I think I am going to puke. This guy is soooo weird. Last time he was in the office he wanted me to try on his shoes? He actually took them off and tried to give them to me. Mind you, this was the first time I had ever seen this guy! Now I am alone in the office. I am totally creeped out by this. ::shivers:: Other than that I am in a pretty good mood. I am happy with the rest of my life. I am having fun meeting people on myO and on the boards. Jeremy finally called me back last night and said I can use some pictures from Wizards on my website. He thinks it is funny that I am "stalking" him. He said he would send me some sketches that I could post too. Neat-o! I think tonight I am going to do some work on myO, I am going to put a background up. Last night I wanted too but my server was down. That is so annoying! I still need to figure out what is going on with some attachments that aren't showing up. Oh bother. Well, I guess that is it for my morning posting. I am off to look at the boards and catch up with some other blogs.

   Oh bother!

I just realized that if my server is down then I won't be able to get online at home tonight. Bummer. I hope I don't have any important emails waiting for me! One thing I hate about living in the middle of nowhere is the "high tech" stuff like the internet isn't very dependable since it's so "new fangled". Now if you need someone who can dig a ditch, this is the town to call! :P I have been having a pretty good day even though this morning those guys posting on the other message board about "Jap" not being a racial slur kinda ticked me off, but they are just losers and I should let them get to me. I had a nice day at work reading through myO's and I started a thread in the Otaku Lounge about Personal Space. I really have a big personal bubble and when someone invades it I feel really uncomforable. There is this one guy who I use to help at the vet clinic and he always had to stand right next to me, touching my arm while leaning his head towards me like he was hard of hearing or something. But that is just how he was. It was really annoying. Everytime you would back away, he would step forward. Ugh! It was a never ending battle to get away from him! @_@ Well, I am in the last hour of work! Of course now is the time when everyone and their grandpa will be calling and walking in the door. Go figure. It have taken me 17 minutes to write this since I keep getting interupted by phone calls! Darn customers want me to work or something!! :P I guess I should get some stuff closed up. Hopefully my internet is working at home, if not, I might have to so something like spend time with my husband! Heaven forbid! j/k More than likely we will just sit around and watch anime. I know, you are all thinking that we live a very exciting life. LOL Later! ~_^

   My server is down!

I am guessing that my server is down since my banner and some attachments aren't showing up. I am at work right now so it's not like I can really check from here. I should probably have my banner and stuff hosted here since this is the only place I use them. I will see when I get home what is going on. It's not like it's that big of a deal hosting the images myself, except when the server goes down! Heaven forbid I go a few posting without seeing my Sanzo/Panda banner!! :P The thread that was causing me great grief on the other message board seems to be dying down. I say that now but I haven't checked on it since before lunch. I don't know why people think they can say things like that and expect others to not be offended. Oh well, it's all karma, they will just have lots of bad karma. Today has been another really quite, and rainy day here. The rain keeps people away from the office. I know if I didn't have to be out today I would be at home reading some manga right now! I think I am going to have to just put the Kare Kano manga in my purse! I keep forgetting it! Well, I am going back to check on the boards and perhaps check out some more myO sites. Thanks for reading!

   What is it with some people?!

Ok, time to fire up the rant engine. Why is it there always seems to be people on message boards who feel the need to cause trouble? Right now on the message board I help mod there was a thread in which someone used a racial slur, that thread was deleted and a reminder note was put up by one of the other mods to be respectful of others and not use racial slurs.....this brought out all the trouble makers. The word that was used was "Jap". I personally find it offensive since I have heard it used in such a negative way towards my family members. The trouble makers are saying that people are too sensitive and that "Jap" isn't a racial slur, just an abbrivation. That this word was used long before WWII and didn't have a negative meaning behind it so it should be ok. I so disagree with that. I mean, that is like saying that you can use the "N" word since it was ok before the Civil War?! What kind of logic is that?! I know the other mods are taking care of this one but it still puts a fire under my bum. I know the individuals who are doing this are doing it just to cause trouble. I am not going to get involved since it is too personal to me and I know I would just want to "debate" them....which is exactly what they want. Arrrgh! Why can't internet troublemakers just find a constructive hobby...like basket weaving?! Sorry all, I just needed to get that off my chest. For those of you who don't know I am Japanese, my dad and his family (my grandparents, aunt, uncle and dad) were all interned in a camp in Wyoming during WWII. They lost their home, farm and most of their possessions since you could only take what you could carry. My uncle died in the camp. After the war there was a lot of negative feelings towards the Japanese so whenever the word "Jap" was used it was not in a friendly way. I still hear it once in awhile and it makes me mad. I just find it odd that these guys, who are being disrespectful by saying that "Jap" is an acceptable word, are posting this on an anime message board. Apparently the animation is ok, but they have no respect for those making it. "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me..." But you know what, they sure do annoy the heck out of me!!

   I wish I wasn't so tired after work.....

Last post for tonight. I worked on some pages for my website, but I am too lazy to make all the buttons and links to upload them. Lazy, oh so lazy is this Panda. One new section I am adding to my website is my Stalking page. What is the "Stalking Pages" you ask? Well, it is going to be a section of my website dedicated to my friends. Think of it as a bunch of mini fan pages. It will have pictures of my friends and a little update as to what they are doing in their lives. It is my way to keep all my friends informed about what is going on with everyone else. I have finished John's page already and have a picture of his bookcover (E-Wally and the Renegades) which will include a link to the author's website since she has an interview with John on her site. The page I am currently working on is for my friend Jeremy Cranford who works for Wizards. I waiting for JC to call me back tonight since I need permission to use some pictures from Wizards. If not then I will be forced to use pictures of us rock climbing! This makes me think of a funny story. The very first wedding gift my hubby and I opened was from Jeremy. Mind you, we had our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and a few close friends with us when were were doing gifts. We knew it was some original art work. It was big. Customed framed and everything...now the piece he gave us was....interesting. He had done a charcoal piece with John in the foreground putting on a motorcycle helmet (drawn from an actual picture from their college days), a large library in the back and on the ladder going up to the 2nd floor of the library is a naked woman with thigh high boots! So everyone is sitting there looking at it and my aunt says, "well that's John in the front so is that Gail in the back?" I swear, I haven't been that embarrassed in ages! Needless to say, it is one of our most memoriable wedding gifts. On JC's "stalking" page I am going to put a picture of that in there. @_@ When I get those pages uploaded you can read more about them. Sheesh, I am pooped, I better call it a night.

   Ok, comments on!

Ok, just for Shinigami, I am turning the comments on for my journal. I am not sure why I didn't have it on earlier, but now it is. So feel free to add your 2 cents. I finally made it to lunch time. Thank goodness. I think I am going to slip into a coma soon if I don't get out of this office! Perhaps I will go get an espresso...of course that means the rubber snakes and gecko may attack the clerk. Oh, but what fun it will be! Off to lunch!
