I am finally home from Anime Expo!!

It is so good to be home!

After 2340+ miles we are home. We just walked in the door and I had to tell you guys that I made it home safe and sound. I will do a proper update tomorrow. I am so tired. First the trip to the midwest and then California. I will post pictures and sum up my adventure later.

I need to unpack, do laundry, sort through 2 weeks worth of mail and spend sometime with my pets. I have missed you all and promise to make the rounds tomorrow. ^_^

I will leave you with the question of the day!

Do your friends/family share your love of anime? Do you consider yourself "Otaku"? What, in your opinion, is taking your love of anime too far?

In my hometown I am the only one of my friends who loves anime (besides John of course!). My friends I have met online are really the only ones I have that understand how great anime is. I usually only get to visit with them at cons....like Anime Expo! I got to meet Mamma Vash and we had a great time! ^_^ ::huggles Mamma::

I don't consider myself Otaku since I know there are fans who are much more into anime than me. I consider myself a big fan of anime but that is about it. ^_^

I am not sure what I think is too much otaku-ness. I have several friends who have named their kids after anime characters and I don't think that is too weird. I don't have a problem with tattoos. I think cosplayers are amazing since their talent in making the costumes is truly artistic. I guess for me it would be the people who look down at those who don't know everything about anime. I am sure you have run into those people online who act all high and mighty since they know everything about everything dealing with anime. :P

I need to get some stuff done. I have missed you all and will be around more often now that vacation is finally over. It is good to be home. ^_^
