   Just a quick break
Thought I would take a short break from studying . . . I'm pulling a all-night *yawn :O*, I have two exams in the morning. :l Why do professors have to schedual them all on the same day?! I think they are trying to see how sleep deprived I can get before I crash. So far it is 3am and I am still going strong. However, we'll see.

Anyway . . . I got my new photoshop software. Yay! Also, I was suppose to get Photoshop 7.0, but they sent me Photoshop CS2, but I am not complaining. :) Dag nam it! Now I have to figure out how to use it. HELP!!! All I want to do right now is darken my pics, this is turning out to be harder then I thought. Now how do I import . . . Just kidding ^_^ I know how to do that much. But seriously, I could use some tips, help, whatever.

Well, I suppose I sould get back to studying. Ick! I hate studying, can ya tell?

   Oh snap!
Spring break is offically over. :( Well, it was a restful week, sort of. If you call staying up to 2 am and waking up by 9am restful. Might sound crazy, but it's me. It is really bad being a morning person and a night owl. The two don't mix very well. And I'm not an insomniac! ^_^ How I have blend the two together is beyond me. *shrug* Maybe this is why I fall asleep in most of my classes. ;P

Anyway due to classes starting up again . . .I have no idea how often I will be able to post or draw. School work kinda has to come first. I really need to pass my classes. Funny how impotant school becomes when you're the one paying for it.

Oh . . . just remembered I think I have gotten past my artist block. Thank you everybody *hugs* for all the encouragement and tips; they helped alot. I also discovered that I am a very slow artist, it takes me many hours for each piece and it looks horrible for half that time.

   Howl . . .
Studio Ghilbli has just released a bunch of movies to the US. *squeel* I just absolutely love Miyazaki's work and have been looking foreward to this for months. (Yes, I know I have no life!) For those who don't know what has been released, let me fill you in. Three movies were released, Howl's Moving Castle, Whisper of the Heart, and My Neighbor Totoro. I had to get the first two. I had the priviledge of seeing Howl's Moving Castle in the theater. I had to serch for a theater - it was only released to a few theaters!! Howl is so handsome. *giggle* If only he really existed. *sigh* Sophie is soooo funny. And just for the record old people do talk like that. I even know a few with the same personality. LOL

As for the Whisper of the Heart, I became intriuged after seeing The Cats Return and learning that the two were related. And you know what I was not disappointed, it is a winner. I definetly recommend it. ^_^

   Stupid hands
Man oh man, I have the week off and I can't draw a straight line if my life depended on it. I am use to my hands not behaving; I have tendonitis in them. Pain I can handle, but not being able to draw. Ahhhh.... Usually this only happens when I practice musical insturments. Well, I guess this would be a new pebble in my life.

Of course, it could be my head too. Or maybe its both. Oh I know, my brain went on vaction this week. "Hey, brain get back here, I still need you!" Yep that's the reason. Anybody else have days like thais?

Well, after much frustation I did get one picture done today and it looks half decent. I'll have to put it up later. My other attempts . . . fat chance that you'll be seeing them. ;P

I think that some of my frustation steamed from not being to draw what I saw in my head, a very common problem. *hits head* Get out of there! Out, out, out.... That didn't work. :( I guess I will just have to wait until my drawing abilities catches up with my ideas. Might be a while, but I am seeing some improvement already. Thank you sis for the help! :)

   Spring Break!!!
Spring break is here!!!

Okay, so I am not going any where, but to have the morning off and not have to worry about school work. Pure bliss....

I did the whole college spring break thing my freshman year. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt.

Well, I might be on a break from college, but I have to still work. :( I don't mind though. Too much free time and I get bored. So here is to the coming week, may it be restful.

   Evil Technology!!!
Oh man does this suck! My scanner is ruining all my pictures.

Believe me, my art looks much better here then it does on the site. I have to either have the pictures barely show up or they have to be incrediblely grainy. Both which drive me absolutely NUTS!

Well, hold on there with me everybody. I'll overcome this somehow.

Does anybody know of a real good program for touching up pictures? Right now I am using HP Image Zone and Photoshop 2.0. This explains why my pics are so grainy. :(

   My computer is out to get me!!!!
Well, I thought everything was going well, but for the love of Pete I think my computer, or maybe it's all computers, wants to see how far it can push me. It is worse then my baby brother and that is saying something.

To make a long story short, I can only post one picture at a time. If I do more then that, the others disappear. Where they go, I do not know.... So getting my art work posted is going to take a lot longer then I thought. So be patient. :)

   Up and running again!!!!
I have returned!

That's right I am back. It has been forever. And as promised I have started putting up some new pictures. However, it will take some time for me to catch up - I have three months worth - of course for me that is not much, but it is better then nothing. Also I don't have the best scanner and I discovered that I draw so light that I really have to touch up my drawings so you can actually see them.

Alright enough of that, I'm should just be greatful that I have a computer again.

   Arrgg!!!!
Well, I thought my computer was going to be fixed, but it just does not want to behave. My dad rebuilt it three times while I was at home visiting and everytime I would boot it up, it would crash again. Turns out I had a very bad virus that corrupted the hard drive. Not only that it completely fired the drive. So to make a long story short, I need a new hard drive and it will be the end of Febuary before I can post any new art. You know I really think computers have personalities and mine likes to drive me nuts! Oh well, that's life. I will just have alot of art to post when my computer is up and running again.
