OMFG...
Current Mood: Happy/Tired
Current Song: Closer by Nine Inch Nails
OMFG, yesterday was the best effing day of my life. We left the house for the NIN concert at about 4 so we were able to get there early. Basically the entire drive there I just sat beside my brother and stared out the window. I was bored out of my friggin mind and wanted to see my Trent. >_< When we finally got there, we had to wait in line for about half an hour before we were able to get through the gates. Whenever I got there we had to empty our pockets and have someone pat us down... the girls had to get their asses touched. XP We got through the gates and looked at all the people that were there, most of them dressed rather ridicilously, especially in 95 degree weather. There was one guy who would put most J-rockers to shame. XD Anyhow, we wandered around and looked at the merchandise, which wasn't all that good. Nine Inch Nails has better shirts at their website, and, I'm sorry to say, Hot Topic. When my brother was signing up for a free guitar, I went to the Peta2 tent and got a few pamplets on animal cruelty and vegetarianism, since I plan on becoming one soon. Dad, my brother, and I eventually went to our seats and waited for the first band to come on. I was shocked at reading the pamplets... I knew that animals were treated terrible at farms, but never like I expected. I was horrified and so far I've got away with not eating meat for a whole day... I want to tell my parents that I want to be a vegetarian, but they never take me seriously when I do say it! I guess I'll just have to show them if they don't believe me this time by refusing to eat any meat that they give me. Anyways, the first band, TV On The Radio, came up, and played about four songs. I didn't really like them, they were pretty pop-ish, but you can at least say that they have a lot of balls going up in front of thousands of Nine Inch Nails fans and playing. Dad said the lead singer wanted to be the lead singer of the Rolling Stones so bad that he couldn't stand it. XD Anyway, I clapped and cheered for them and I believe that if they believe in themselves they can really take themselves far. We took a break after TV On The Radio and then went back to see Bauhaus, an awesome "emo"-ish Indies band. For some reason they reminded me of a shy boy next door who secretly played with himself, cut himself to see the blood, and eventually commited suicide. o_O And the lead singer looked like a "goth-ed up" Adam Sessler from "X-Play." XDDD They had some good music, it was pretty mellow, but I still liked them. And the gutarist (or bassist, I couldn't tell, I was too far away) had an AWESOME outfit... his hair was slicked back into a ponytail, he had a faux fur white vest, a huge pair of white sunglasses, tight silver pants, and knee-high silver boots. ^-^ Whenever Bauhaus went off stage, I ran to the bathroom and ran back to my seat in fear of missing Nine Inch Nails although I had about 45 minutes to spare. XD I'm such a spaz. Whenever I was waiting for Nine Inch Nails to come on, I felt an adrenaline rush... I had a hard time breathing and I could feel my heart pumping in my chest because I was so excited. >_< And when I finally heard Trent's voice ring out in the stadium, my breath was taken away and I stood up, screaming. Their set was awesome, they had 3 videos screens behind the band that formed different types of pictures and things... ocassionally they also had a lighted gate that would form different pictures as well, not including the smoke machines and flashing lights. Trent was wearing a red wife-beater and a pair of shorts. He still had his hair cut short, but I still love him and think he's one of the hottest men alive. XD Aaron North was freaking AWESOME. He had a total J-rock vibe coming off of him, he would swing the guitar around his head and kick up his legs and stuff while playing, I loved it. ^-^ I also screamed "I LOVE YOU, TRENT!!!" at the top of my lungs when everything was quiet but I don't think he heard me. ;_; But whenever they were playing, a storm began and it started raining and thundering real hard. They had to stop the concert for half an hour because the people on the lawn had to move so they wouldn't get hurt and the band wouldn't get electricuted. Some people got really pissed that it got stopped and started a riot and got thrown out by the police. XD Whenever the concert came back on, Trent was wearing a black shirt because his first one was so soaked with sweat and apologized to everyone for the storm and said that he would play a few more songs for us. Except, he worded it this way- "It was like I was having sex with all of you guys but the police busted in and interrupted us." At hearing that the entire stadium cheered and I think my dad saw me screaming bloody murder at hearing me say that. XD But that wasn't the best part... during the last two songs, the wind started to kick up and whisked the rain into the stadium... I will never forget singing "The Hand That Feeds" and "Head Like a Hole" with a stadium full of 10,000 people and Trent Reznor in the rain. It was so awesome, I will probably never, ever forget it. I'll put up the play list of the concert, but it won't be in the order. (P.S. Unknown are new songs that they didn't tell the name of.)

Trent with his semi-new haircut.
Today my neck hurts from all the headbanging I did... XD It's okay, though. I went to Old Navy to spend a giftcard I've had ever since Christmas and I got three tank tops... they're all really pretty. There's a plain black one with an empire waist, a green shirt with a victorian design, and a blue shirt with a victorian family crest on it. All for $20!!! Hellz yeah for clearance sales. :D
Well, I don't really have anything else to write about. XD I hope you guys semi-enjoyed my concert report!!! Laterz and Loves.
