Nemui da.... ;_;
Current Mood: Tired
Current Song: Sin by Nine Inch Nails
Hello, everyone... nothing really went on yesterday or today. -_- After shopping at Old Navy, we picked up some stuff at Target and I got to drool over the $300 electric drum set that I worship. X3 So far I'm 1/6 of the way there money wise. Curse my financial rut!!! >_< We went home and I got on the computer for a little while, studied some Japanese, and then ate dinner. I was able to skip eating meat again!! ^o^ We had corndogs and tater tots but I couldn't bring myself to eat the corndog... I kept thinking of innocent little baby pigs... I couldn't do it and was able to throw it away without my parents seeing it. I want to tell them but I don't know if I can. They just never seem to take me seriously. Some of you asked what was in the Peta2 pamplets that horrified me so that made me stop eating meat. It saddened me before I even read them because I knew I was eating animals who deserved nothing and were deprived of everything natural to them. But whenever I read the articles I almost started crying. With cows, they transport them in cattle carts with no food, water, or room to move in. Sometimes the temperature is so extreme that the freeze to the side of the cart and the people just thaw them out and drag them to the slaughterhouse. When they finally get to the farm, they separate them from any family they have and are placed in a pen that would fit only about 4 humans and shove 20 cows in there. They brand them, castrate them, and tag them without any painkillers. When they finally bring them to the slaughterhouse, they hang them upside down and slit open their throats WHEN THEY ARE STILL CONSIOUS. I saw a picture of it and it made tears come to my eyes... it was terrible. For chickens, they throw them in crates and transport them to the farms. There they take the chickens and debeak them, or cut off their beaks with a hot blade. Debeaking is a seriously painful process that requires slicing through tissue sensitive enough as the skin under your fingernails. They're often placed in cages so small that they have to lay sideways or on their belly to fit... and their legs become deformed from staying in the position for so long. Whenever chickens are brought to the slaughterhouse, they are placed on a table and their heads are cut off with an axe... once again, without any painkillers. Pigs are pretty similar to chickens. They are transported the same way as chickens and the pens are barely bigger than their own bodies. The have hunks of flesh ripped from their ears, castrated, their teeth ripped out with wire cutters, and their tails chopped off without painkillers. Sometimes whenever the pigs' stalls are stacked, any type of excrement falls onto the animal below them. By the time they reach the slaughterhouse, the pigs are so loaded down with drugs and genetic breeding that they can barely walk. Once the pigs get there, workers jab metal hooks into their eyes, mouths, or rectums to force them to move faster. They too are killed while still fully consious. There you have it... information on how innocent animals are killed every day so someone can enjoy eating their skin for $1 a pop. Nice, huh? It kinda reminds me of the Holocaust... all my information was taken from www.peta.org and if you want to know more about it, please visit Peta.org or Peta2.com I really hope you guys will.

Heartless men standing on a pig.
Have any of you guys seen "Unleashed" with Jet Li in it? I thought it was just gonna be some fight movie, but I love it... it's so adorable and sweet. It's about this man who has been raised as a fighter all his life and wears a leash when he's not in the ring. Whenever he has his leash on, he's a kind soul and speaks very little... but when he has his leash off, he's a killing machine full of hate and anger. But eventually a family takes him in and he becomes a fully compasionate person and learns that fighting should only be used when protecting someone you love. Everytime I watch it I just wanna hug Jet Li because he's so incredibly sweet. ^-^ If you haven't seen it, you really need to, even if you don't enjoy fighting movies.
Well, I'm gonna watch some J-rock and see if I can talk to my Areina-chan. ^^ Love you, bye~!
