Crying alone,
smiling to your face.
Until I could smile no more,
and left without a trace.
But I took you with me,
and cried into your arms.
Why did I take you with me?
No, not your looks or charms.
But it was the way you lied there,
forever by my side.
And how you held me in your arms,
as we both just cried.
You and I just lie here,
sobbing our past away.
