Gunslinger Girl.

The first five episodes of Gunslinger Girl were entertaining and heartbreaking to watch. I'll be playing the DVD one more time before I take it back to the video store. Now, I really have to find my own copy. The series was released not long ago here and I find it very fascinating. A tad on the sad side, considering the girls who work for this "secret" government sponsored assassin agency are all very young and have dealt with tragedy beyond the normal scope of what any little girl should, if ever, go through. "Henrietta", a name given to one of the girls whom this story focuses on, was involved in a very tragic experience. Her entire family was murdered and she herself was left for dead. The "Social Welfare Agency" found her and gave her a second chance at life. Henrietta's Handler, Jose, has taken her under his protective care not because he is responsible for what she does but because he has genuine feelings for this girl. Afterall, he was the one who chose to give her a name. It's not exactly a life you'd want since these girls are genetically enhanced and their minds are "cleansed". Their fates are that of human killing machines. They are genetically modified to be the perfect assassin. If you'd ever watched a movie called Point of No Return or Le Femme Nikita, you'll get a sense of what Gunslinger Girl is all about. Okay, I've rambled on about this and you're probably bored out of your mind. So, I'll stop here and pounce off to sleep. Grrowl. Wierd, yep.

[^_^] I am so happy! I did get the DVD I wanted! InuYasha: "Swords Of An Honorable Ruler" was awesome to watch. Of course, I love Sesshomaru and now that I've finally had the chance to see(and own it), it was worth the wait. InuYasha and Sesshomaru take their sibling rivalry to a new level and...well, something fun happens. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha show different sides and surprise themselves and everybody else. Yay! I got to see what Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's father looks like in his more human form. I'm Sesshy obsessed(Bet you couldn't tell). Hehe. Grr! I'd love to say more but I'm so sleepy. I so NEED to get the entire series. But, my sleep comes first. I'm wierd...eep! That's all for now.

I am going to try and find the Inuyasha movies. I'm not exactly close to a city that sells videos that aren't dubbed. But, I will settle for English only versions if I have too. The translation of Japanese to English is funny. Some phrases don't even match up to what the character is actually saying. Oh, the voices too. Japanese men speak in a tone that sounds rather sharp and loud while English versions are loud and the words are more drawn out. Screechy. That's a word I like to describe female Japanese voice actors. They all seem so highpitched, Sailor Moon's voice...[>_<] makes me want to throw the video case at the television or laugh my pants off. Annoying but amusing. I know, I'm rambling on about nothing. Any-who, back to what I was rambling on about in the first place. If I can't find any Inuyasha movies I'm going to settle for something else. CardCaptors or City Hunter. I'm a geek. Skewer me. Hmm...I bought a few volumes of Sakura Wars and Neo Ranga earlier. Hunting for the rest is a pain! I'm sure I'll end up crazy trying to collect all the series I love to watch. Eep! It's late. Time for sleep.

My dog Ty is so not Inuyasha! He's more like Sesshomaru. Hehe. He sure is a strong dog and I'm not exactly easy to knock down. I stand just a little over 5'8". I'm a tomboyish kinda gal. So, yeah, when I plant my feet on the ground I make sure I stay(most of the time). Well Ty dragged me to the ground pretty hard yesterday and I'm sore! [à_à]. Eh, I had fun though. He sure is a brat. I've been working on another design for my website. It's a design that shows that I love anime! Hmm...I'll be gathering information over the next few months on various series I like and will maybe post it up here one of these days. Slacker!!! I'll get it done before I'm ashes. ::Rips hair out:: I broke my brother's car! [@_@] Well, not really. It's going to be towed in the morning and sent back to be fixed, those stupid mechanics are milking him for money. I swear they are! It was "fixed" today but then it stalled and gave up a few hours ago. Hopefully they do it right this time. Not a cent more is going to be spent on repairs, he'll make sure of it. He certainly didn't get his money's worth. Oh well, at least he isn't mad at me. [^_^] I'm going to watch a movie I rented. Several of them but they're at my brother's place. I just bought one home.
