I'm going bonkers trying to find the next issue of ShojoBeat! I'm tempted to get Bree to send me the issue from home. Haha. I'm such a nerd. None of the stores in the city near here has my favorite mangazine. The only one I can get my hands on is ShonenJump. I'm hoping my aunt will take me for a trip out of town so I can look for new manga. I'm still waiting on the second volume of Backstage Prince. Cha! It's getting warmer here. I'm starting to fry when the sun comes up. It's a little too soon to turn on the A/C though. Yeah, I'm so not interesting. Heh. Done my rambling.

I'm a little addicted to Dance Dance Revolution. Hah. The music isn't that bad and the moves aren't too challenging. Yeah right! I'm on the easy/light setting. I'll get used to the harder setting one of these days. I'm not the most physically coorindated person in the world. I trip over my own feet sometimes. T_T I'm also addicted to another anime show...Beck:Mongolian Chop Squad. It's an interesting story. A decent show to watch for music luvers too. Anyways, done my rambling for now.

Meh, I haven't been the least bit motivated to update this thing, sorry. Hm, I suppose I mentioned that I bought a few more DVDs? Anyways, if I haven't I'll ramble on about them now. Shinobi: Heart Under Blade is a rather entertaining movie to watch. The special effects of the shinobi was pretty neat...sort of had the feel of anime. I finally found another Ghost in the Shell movie. Yay for me. I'm starting to collect Samurai Champloo and I had to get Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa. Yeah, I spend way too much on videos. I'd rather buy myself a video but I won't budge and get something I really need like a new pair of shoes. Heh. That's a nerd for ya.

Yay! I'll be going out of town again at the end of next month which means I'll be able to get more manga! ^_^ Yeah...I'm very sad. I finally had a decent night of sleep. I'm back home and it felt so good to be in my own bed! I was so tired from traveling the last couple of days. Bought some manga and anime while I was in the City. I saw an ad for an anime called tactics and thought the characters looked cute and I was surprised to find some DVDs at the video store. I only bought the first volume, so stupid! I love the anime! Now, I'll have to wait until next month to buy more. Another thing that put a dent in my wallet was the third season box set of InuYasha. I'm going to buy another season box set next time too. Grah! I'm such a nerd. ^_^ Well, that's about all I have to say. Darn bratz gave me a cold and I'm going to the doctor's office now.

I must be tired. I shouldn't be! I slept the normal eight hours an adult should get and then I had a little nap. I suppose the weather is driving me insane. I was trying to find the rest of the Nazca anime...no such luck. Darn my bad luck! :[ Yes, rambling nonsense as usual...I'll be heading back home again next weekend(I hope) and maybe I'll be able to stick around there for at least three weeks. Then...then...I'm back here once more for another three or six weeks, possibly longer if I can get a job for the summer. Hm, typing papers isn't all that bad for making some money, just doesn't happen very often. Beep! I need to get back to my paper typing thing. Grr...

I hope ShojoBeat doesn't let go of Backstage Prince. I really enjoy this manga series a lot. Meh, I guess I won't know until I get the next issue. I'm thinking I might con the old guy to buy me the Feb issue over the weekend. I'll keep reminding him until be begs me to stop pestering him! Heh heh. I've been trying to catch the last few episodes of FMA. I swear that I'm going to finish watching the series before I buy the movie. I usually spoil 'endings' for myself by watching the movies that tie up the story in a series. Anyways, started watching another anime -- Tenjho Tenge, it's almost as good as the manga. Well, I'm done my rambling for the night.

Dubbed anime isn't always fun to listen to. Some of the original content is always lost in translation. That really can't be helped. But, I can't complain about the quality of the voices used for North American releases either. Hm, a voice can definitely make or break a character. Before DVDs I watched nothing but english versions of my favorite anime. I didn't have the option of viewing a show in Japanese. It was rare to find subtitled VHS episodes of Silent Mobius or Sailormoon (Gah! Sailormoon!) Heh. It sort of "annoys" me to find that people complain about a dubbed show before they've even had a chance to view it. I know some lines sound a lot less dramatic/romantic/funny/whatever in english, but the same goes for the other way around. Grah! Here's a little secret: I never used to like watching subtitled anime. I thought the voices sounded a little too high-pitched for the girls and too old for the guys. Now, I enjoy listening to the contrast between english speaking actors and Japanese seiyu. Well, I'm done my silly rant/rambling of the day.

Seriously, the only one I have doesn't work too well. I have to angle the tip of the pencil to get it to sharpen to a finer point. Well, I managed to do a few sketches. I drew a picture of Sai from Hikaru no Go. Hm, also starting on a sketch of Kaname Kuran from the Vampire Knight manga. Hopefully I can buy a few supplies this week. I hope! Blah, the image of Sai should be up tonight or tomorrow. Sometimes I have to make the submission twice. Any-who, I'm done my rambling for tonight.
