.Mini-Bio.

Ehm! Eh, heh-heh... I'm never sure how to describe myself but I'll give it a shot. I can be silly and very serious at the same. I rarely act my age. I have a ton of interests but find it a bit difficult to focus on one thing for very long. So..."multi-tasker" aught to be stamped on my forehead, eh? I make a lot of noise with my piano and sometimes with the guitar. I definitely make a huge mess when I'm sketching. Pencil shavings and eraser bits everywhere!

Dubbed anime isn't always fun to listen to. Some of the original content is always lost in translation. That really can't be helped.
But, I can't complain about the quality of the voices used for North American releases either. Hm, a voice can definitely make or break a character.

Before DVDs I watched nothing but english versions of my favorite anime. I didn't have the option of viewing a show in Japanese. It was rare to find subtitled VHS episodes of Silent Mobius or Sailormoon (Gah! Sailormoon!) Heh.

It sort of "annoys" me to find that people complain about a dubbed show before they've even had a chance to view it. I know some lines sound a lot less dramatic/romantic/funny/whatever in english, but the same goes for the other way around.

Grah! Here's a little secret: I never used to like watching subtitled anime. I thought the voices sounded a little too high-pitched for the girls and too old for the guys. Now, I enjoy listening to the contrast between english speaking actors and Japanese seiyu.

Well, I'm done my silly rant/rambling of the day.
