Thatīs the name of the hurricane who hits germany last night. I canīt remember such a strong wind in my life (fastest rating: nearly 200 km/h).
It all starts on thursday morning. I read an articel about the storm and that the meteorological service warns you to go out. First i just laughed about it. Who can afford to stay at home from work? We also talked during our practical about it. During the lunch hour we heard more warnings.
Directly as we wanted to drive to our school to regensburg Andreas received a call from Melli that the school is closed because of the hurricane. We canīt believe it at first! But it was true!
Afternoons the weather becomes more and more worse. At 17.15 p.m. all trains in germany stopped. My dad released our home at 18 p.m. (heīs member of the auxiliary fire brigade) and came back 1.30 a.m. Fortunatly we had luck. Only one tree toppeled down behind our house. But elsewhere a lot of tree toppeled down and many houses get damaged and sadly also 10 people died.

Today all schools in bavaria cancelled there instructions. And the trains still donīt drive the normal way. I tried to find some pictures online. There you can see how the hurricane raged.
