....Long day, and a small world
I'm sorry I have not been able to update lately. I've been extremely busy with work and family matters, so I have not had much time. I would be getting home around 11 or 12 midnight almost every night. As I was busy these past few days, i will be also for the next few, until friday. Work has gotten me caught up with stress and being tired, and I need some rest once in a while. I'm sorry, once again for not updating, for those who actually read this journal.
Father's day was relaxing. My sister, and mother went to kinko's to print out a picture of my sister and i from my debut dance. It is a really cute picture, and i would post it on this journal. But I refuse to post any pictures of me without certain security. It took us about an hour to figure out the machine and print the darn thing. I had it right the second time, but they insisted on my strategies being unworthy. Oh well, it's their time wasted, not mine. I didn't have much to do anyway, as long as I was away from work.
I get two days off of work next week. Friday and Saturday I think. I'm alos getting closer to transferring to the vendors. I figure I might as well have fun at work right? Being a caricature artist is better than dealing with customers and their food. At first, they said I would need to take one year off of working for Six Flags, but I found out today, that it can be waivered. So mom and I took my resume and my skethpad over to teh employment office. They said to keep it until i get to see this lady named Eve (the way the guy pronounced it was like Eevee, from Pokemon). So yes, I'm one step closer.
After that, we ventured over to HEB to pick out some of dad's favorite foods for today. There, I saw my friend Melissa, the girl the sat behind me in Geometry class. I missed her, but she was going on break, so I was not able to talk to her much. I suppose I shall talk to her on AIM later.
A few days ago, I took my mother to go see a movie (Madagascar) in order to relieve some stress and to have a fun night out. We haven't gone to see a movie in a long while, so I thought it would be good for the both of us to visit the Cielo Vista. Dad and little sister went to see a different movie (Star Wars, Eps.3). I would have gone to see that one, being me, but I felt like laughing that night. Their movie wa sa lot longer than ours, so mom and I wound up sitting in the lobby area, watchig the big screen tv over the video games. I grew bored of seeing the same Fandango commercial three times and took a look around the crowd. Usually, when you just see a crowd, there is no one recognizable as someone you know, but out in the middle, right after the ticket taker, I recognized a familiar face. He wasn't from here, where I lived, but from the previous state where I resided. Luke Simpson, one of the baggers from the Air Force Academy Commissary, and his older brother, Josh. I froze. Mom noticed my tension and looked around. After much debate, I rose from my seat to greet them. Luke didnt' look too excited to see me after so long, and in an incredibly different place, but Josh was suprised and welcomed me with warm smiles. Luke and I have never been tense before, but I still kept an optomistic face. I knew that they moved here, but I was not sure exactly where they would be stationed. Mom actually works in the same base as they live and work at. I'm also able to visit Josh at the Chic-Fil-A right outside one of our malls.
Their movie was about to start, so I let them be on their way. Mother said she was suprised that I didn't give them our new number, and dared me to sneak into their theatre and give it to them. I can't resist a dare from Mom, so I grabbed a napkin, and a pen from her purse. After writing it with nervous hands, I made sure i had my ticket stub (Just in case I was stopped), and proceeded to find their theatre. For some reason, there was only one showing of S.W. in that wing of the Cinema building. That was strange because I think it was only the 3rd day it was out. I found the room that it was showing in and peeked inside. There was a small barrier in between the stairs to the higher seats, and the entry way. My head popped only a little bit above, just enough to find the two about 7 rows up. Filling my lungs with air and exhaling, I walked around and up the stairs.
To make a long story short (I'm tired and have to go to bed), I gave them the number and slept well last night. They haven't called, I'm not suprised. But oh well.
I'll update more as soon as possible, until then, goodnight and all that. I miss all my friends, I love you all.
