Hey everyone. Sorry I'm a little late again tonight. I was with Paul over at his aunt's apartment messing around with a mod for Half Life 2 and we lost track of time. It was fun though ^_^
So, today was good. I woke up and started my day as usual. I came online, checked some sites, and played a little World of Warcraft. Nothing new here. During the World of Warcraft playing though, Paul stopped by.
So, we went over to GameStop for a while because he was thinking of buying a new computer game. He didn't end up getting anything but a trip to GameStop is always fun. There's just something about the store that I like - probably the fact that everything is video game related ^_^
From there, we came back to my house and just hung out for a while. I showed him Oblivion in high-definition, which he was pretty amazed by. I wish I could show you just how good it looks but taking a screen shot from my TV may prove slightly difficult ;)
At around 7, he had to leave to go to a dinner at which he didn't eat because we went to Burger King earlier (he didn't know about this dinner until later). Apparently, it was horrifically boring which is why he left early and I ended up going over to his place (it's actually where he used to live before he moved - his aunt owns it now).
While we were there, we ended up messing around with a Half Life 2 mod for quite some time. You could do pretty much anything with this mod which included spawning objects and people and then interacting with them. We ended up setting up a bowling game where we set up a bunch of enemies on a small island, moved to the other side of the level, and used the car launcher (an gun that shot cars) to try to hit them from far away. This was much more amusing than it sounds ^^
And that's pretty much my day. So, thanks for reading and have a great day!
P.S. I'm now including the actual date that the post is intended for, just to make things less confusing. If the post is meant for the day that shows on the page, there will just be a time in the subject.

Hey everyone. The reason I didn't post until late yesterday is because I spent the night at Andrew's house. Paul and I stayed there and the three of us played a bunch of old school games including Mortal Kombat I-III, Rampart, Rampage (N64 version), and Super Sprint. How I love classic arcade games ^_^
As for today, we woke up around 1 PM after going to bed at around 5 AM. We hung out for a little while and then went to Taco Bell for lunch. After that, we came back to Andrew's house to play a few more games before heading home. From then on out, the rest of the day was pretty uneventful.
Oh, as an interesting side note (because I have nothing else to say anyway), there is a movie being shot right down the block from my house. I have no idea who's in it or what it's called but it was pretty cool just to see all of the equipment. When I find out more information, I'll let you know.
And the pictures, for those of you who don't know (Enin ~_^) will be posted when I finalize a website I'm making for showing them.
One more thing I just feel I need to mention. For those of you I haven't commented on recently, it's because I don't always know what to say in response to these ego-boost posts and/or don't want to repeat what 15 other people have already said. So yeah, sorry about that - I am visiting, just not always commenting.
Well, that's about it for tonight. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Happy Birthday!
Hey everyone. Sorry I didn't post last night - full story later.
I did find that it was necessary to do at least one thing before the day is over though. Happy birthday James! I know it's a little late in the day but I hope it is/was great for you!

Hey everyone. Sorry I didn't make it to any sites today. When I tried to comment last night, I kept getting errors and the comments wouldn't go through. And then today, I was out for most of the day.
Today was good though. I woke up, got dressed, and soon after went downstairs to continue my review for SAT math with my pre-calc teacher who I've known since kindergarten. Math is not my idea of fun for the summer but it will eventually be worth it if it brings my math score up (I got a 660 math the last time I took it).
From there, I went to Andrew's house for a while where we ended up going swimming. After that, we came back to my house, hooked up my Sega Genesis, and played some old school games like Dashin' Desperados and Sonic 3 and Knuckles (Sonic and Knuckles with Sonic 3 attached). This ended up being a lot of fun, as classic games usually are.
During the game playing, Paul showed up. The three of us (Andrew, Paul, and I) were friends in kindergarten and the three of us playing Genesis games was just like old time ^_^ The three of us just hung out for the rest of the night, going between houses and to get something to eat. Twas a fun night.
And that's just about it. As usual, I feel like I'm once again forgetting something but oh well. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Hey everyone. Today was pretty good. It started off like a pretty standard summer day. I woke up around noon and went downstairs for lunch. Then, I just sort of watched TV for a little while.
I later ended up upstairs and on myO/OB for a while while waiting for my brother and his friends to leave. After they left, I went downstairs and played Oblivion for a while. I finished the quest related to the house I bought (which lifted a curse on it and made it live-able again) and then started moving all of my stuff to it, which took a while. It was fun though and now I have my very own house in the game (and a huge one at that) ^_^
Then, later on, Paul stopped by again and stayed for a while. We played Budokai 3 because he's never played it before. He caught on pretty quick too which was good.
Oh, and about the pictures, I'd put them up but I'm currently working on a site to put up not only the beach pictures, but others as well (like my pictures from Italy). So, if you don't mind, I'd rather just wait until I get that finished so I can put everything up at once. If anyone really wants to see them that bad though, I'll find a temporary spot for them and get them up tomorrow.
And that's about it for tonight. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Hey everyone. It feels great to finally be back in my own house, sitting at my own desk, and using a fast internet connection again ^_^ We narrowly dodged rush hour and actually made pretty good time on the way back.
My last day there was fairly uneventful. My mom and brother went to the beach but I really didn't feel like going this morning. For the second night in a row, I didn't end up falling asleep until around 5:30 AM. I'm not sure why but during the summer, I'm never tired at a reasonable hour (though I usually don't go to bed that late - not sure why I wasn't tired these past two days). So yeah, I was a bit too tired to go at the time. Plus, I had to start packing up my stuff.
When we got back, we unpacked the car, came inside, and quickly set the central air back to a comfortable temperature. This last step was very much necessary since it will be 110+°F (around 43+°C) over the next couple of days. And then from there, I gave Erik a call and we went to a little block party that his aunt in another town was throwing. From there, we came back to my house and decided to play Sonic Adventure, which ended up being a lot of fun. Jessica (his girl friend) came along too and while Erik was playing Sonic, we played some multiplayer Tetris DS.
Oh, and I took some pictures of the house to show you a small glimpse of what I was talking about when I said it needed work. If anyone is interested, I'll put them up tomorrow.
And that's about it for tonight. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Rabbit rabbit! <-- There are probably five or six people who will know what I'm talking about there. For the rest, feel free to ignore it.
Hey everyone. Today turned out pretty good. Not as good as yesterday but not bad. I didn't end up falling asleep until 5:30 last night though. I'm not sure why. I guess I just wasn't tired, though I felt like I was. But yeah, that caused me to wake up at around 3 this afternoon and miss brunch entirely. This wasn't really a problem though because I'm not generally hungry around that time.
At around 4:30, my mom and I went down to the beach. No flies again today since the water was still nice but it wasn't as fun as yesterday. It was really rough yesterday which made for some fun wave-jumping stuff but it got a lot more calm today so it was a bit more boring. Still kept me out of the heat though so I can't complain.
After that, I came home and played Oblivion some more. I bought myself a haunted house ^_^ It's this mansion which you aren't told is haunted and is pretty badly run down. The guy is selling it for 5,000 gold though so you know something is up. Anyway, I've got a little quest to do to lift the curse that's on it and then it fixes itself and I get a nice house to put my stuff in.
From there, we went to dinner. This was apparently the same place the rest of my family went for lunch. It was actually pretty nice and the food was good.
A little while after we got back, my mom, brother, and I went to the boardwalk for some ice cream. We ended up walking the entire length of the boardwalk only to get the ice cream at the first place we passed. It was fun though so no harm done there.
So tonight is our last night here. I'll be back on normal internet tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to get back to your sites again. I'll try to get to whoever updates tonight though since I can see the comment windows again. Hopefully, it will stay that way.
Well, that's all for tonight. Thanks for reading, happy August, and have a great day!

Hey everyone. Today was a lot better. No, the house has not magically chanced into a mansion but the beach was a lot more fun ^_^
As usual for this trip, the day started out by waking up and going to a late breakfast. I'm really not too hungry at that time though so I don't end up getting much. It's really good though. The place we go only serves breakfast.
From there, we came back to the house for a little while and then my mom and I headed off to the beach while my brother and my dad stayed here. And while I'm thinking about magic, it's the best way to describe the beach. Magically, the water got a lot warmer so I spent the entire time in it today. This was great for two reasons - the water is more fun than sitting on the beach and the flies couldn't get me there.
After the beach, we came back and stayed here for a little while. Then, my parents and brother went to the little water park up the street. I really had no interest in the water park so I stayed back and played Oblivion and went online for a while.
Later in the night, we went back to the boardwalk for dinner. I had some pizza which was actually pretty good. It was really hot in all of the places to eat so we took it outside and sat on a bench facing the ocean which ended up being pretty nice.
By the way, I've been trying to get to sites but for some reason, my connection is being very temperamental. It will not let me open any pages from theotaku.com (which includes the comment pages) at all and only sometimes lets me get on myOtaku and OtakuBoards, if it feels like it. Right now is the first chance I've had since this afternoon to get on myOtaku which is why this post is so late.
Oh, and honestly, I didn't know this until a little while ago, but today is myOtaku's three year anniversary. So, happy anniversary myO! It's been a great almost three years here!
Anyway, that's about all for tonight, though I feel like I'm forgetting something. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Hey everyone. Today, being the first full day here, was actually a lot of fun. The house is extremely disappointing though. Oh, and for anyone wondering, we rented it - we don't own it. But yeah, the house needs a lot of work and really isn't in a rent-able condition. We have to go back home on Tuesday night for my brother's school concert thing and we were going to come back on Wednesday but we decided to just stay home from there.
The beach, however, is pretty nice. The water was freezing and rough today but it was still fun to be there. It took quite a while to get used to the water but once I did, it wasn't too bad. Though another deciding factor to stay home on Tuesday are the flies that are at the beach. They bite and it hurts and they're annoying to the point where it's not worth being there unless you're in the water the entire time.
Besides the beach though, we did do some other stuff. We walked up and down the board-walk that's here and played some mini-golf. It was actually pretty nice - a 24 hole course which I didn't expect for $6. After that, we came back to the house for a little while and then set out for dinner. This ended up being much more difficult than expected.
We decided to head out onto some main roads. Makes sense, right? Well a lot of the restaurants were closed so we kept going. To make a long story short, we went in a huge circle and after quite a while, found a restaurant that ended up being pretty nice.
So yeah, today was fun but unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives about this place. The house is really small, has one small air conditioner so it's hot/humid, and like I said, needs a lot of work. I'm just glad we're not in it for most of the day.
And that's really about it. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Hey everyone. Not too much to report tonight. We're at the beach house which is pretty nice because we're only four houses from the beach. Internet-wise, I am on the wireless card so the connection is a little slow. I will try to get to sites when I can though. It's fast enough where I can still visit with not too much of a problem. When I can make it though, just remember that my comments will probably come fairly late because it won't be until the end of the day that I can get online.
So yeah, that's all I really have to say for now. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
