Today (well yesterday actually - it's 12:08 AM now) was a great day. I woke up at around 1 PM which is uncommon for me. I usually don't sleep that late. My friend was allready here though I sort of knew he was because I heard my brother talking to him on the phone. I went downstairs and we played cards for a little while and then we went and beat Dungeons and Dragons which only actually took 4 days so I thought it was very short. Later on, we went to that food tasting thing in town but I didn't actually eat anything. Here's how it workd. You bought a ticket for $10 and then went and stood in endless lines to get a free sample from the places that actually participated in this. They were just samples from the restaurants though, not full meals. Either way, my friend and I didn't want to stand in those lines so we just went down to the dollar store to get something to drink. We spent a while there and ended up at the karate place here. We spent a long time there just looking around. After it was over, we went to talk to one of the instructors (who I allready sort of knew) about the classes there. I'm planning on taking a sword class there starting in about 2 weeks. Anyway, I asked him to see one of the swords we would be using and he said he would show us if we helped bring stuff inside. We did and then he did one better - he actually did more of a sword demonstration for us which was really cool. I can't really describe what he did but it was amazing to watch. He said it is something they have been doing in Japan for over 900 years. Anyway, after that, we went back to my house and played cards a little more. Then, another one of my friends called and asked if we wanted to go to the movies. We went to see
Dodgeball and I must say, I liked it. It was really funny. I got back around midnight and now I'm typing this. It seems to be getting pretty long so I"m going to let you all go now. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this (if you did) and have a great day!
