Hey everyone. I'm sorry I haven't been posting much. I don't have a good excuse. To be honest, I got really obsessed with World of Warcraft during the end of my summer.
So, my senior year of high school is under way. So far, it seems like it should be pretty good. The classes I was afraid to go to don't seem too bad and there are a couple I think will actually be a lot of fun. Hopefully, school will also give me something, boring as it may be, to post about too.
Not much else is going on at the moment though so without further adieu, this one's for you Alexa. I told you I'd get it in before you left ^_^
Alexa:
I realize this has taken me forever to write but not without good reason. I consider you one of my closest friends even though we've yet to meet in person. I've enjoyed our conversations ever since that first night (I remember the fly as well!) and I don't see that changing any time soon. Since you covered how we met, I guess I'll skip that part.
So, July 13th marked the two year anniversary of the night we met and it's been two great years if I do say so myself. I can't imagine what my experience with myOtaku would have been without you being a part of it. I know you mentioned my helping you with your site but you give yourself too little credit. My theme would probably still be blue had you not pushed me to change it ^_^ You've helped me more in that area than you know. From finding images and being blunt, using terms like "puke orange," to inadvertently helping me learn more about web design by giving me problems I've never seen before, you've helped me quite a bit.
You've been a great friend off the site as well. You know by now that during the summer, I don't fall asleep at normal hours. Having someone to talk to during those weird hours kept me sane during the long summer nights. Hehe, I remember nights ending our conversation with something along the lines of "The sun's coming up... I should probably go." I also remember while you were at your friend's house, I even
showed you the sun coming up when we had the web cams working ^^ And while they didn't come up much, I really appreciate you letting me go on with endless stories about whatever problem I was having when they did. I've always been one to say that talking about things helps but I never realized just how much until I talked things through with you.
I have no doubt that you'll read this - you've been waiting long enough ;) I just hope I was able to convey even a small amount how I feel about you with this post. I love you Alexa, and I always will. I know we'll keep in touch. I'll find a way to come see you eventually, even if it does mean a 3,000 mile (4,828.032 km for those of you on the metric system) drive.
So, that's it for tonight. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
