One of the many great games of the Zelda legacy!
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. A great game but this post is mainly for those wack-jobs who don't like this Gamecube Zelda Game. OK, a major reason peopel didn't like this, in my opinion, fantastic Zelda game is the cell-shaped graphics. LOOK PAST THE GRAPHICS!!!! Graphics were never the reason I didn't by and good lookin game, sheeesh. People Geez. It was just something new, and plus, they bring backj the anime-themed Zelda and Link in the Twilight Princess (that reminds me, Vote below in the Poll).
Another reason people didn't like this game (or enough to try it out) was because the Link you play as isn't the same person. SO WHAT!!! Yeah, I'd prefer to be the same person, but then again, I wouldn't want to control a centry old Grandpa! The Wind Waker takes place 100 years after Orcarina of Time. That was a major point that many folks overlooked. Hyrule is under the ocean your sailing on!!!
Er...Umm...well another so-called downside to Wind Waker was that you sail all over the place and its not the same in that way. To let you biast idiots know, GET UR FACTS RIGHT!!!! (cool down Atsuko... ... ... Thats better). Sailing is not a major part and especially after you get power over the cyclones. Then you can teleport almost anywhere.
A cool addition to this game was it s 2 player compatibility (with the Tingle Tuner). Normally, my little bro, Swift, would just sit back and watch me duke it out with Ganondorf and company. Well not anymore. This handy Tingle Tuner fixes that watching problem. Tingle doesn't effect the game so much as it may be the reason you live through an army of moblins, yes...moblins. Tingle can give you health postions for a small fee. What a relief! Tingle also helps you gather special only Tingle stuffs.
Wind Waker ruled (ocording to me, Swift, Katana Pig, and my cousin Clay) and by all means should be accepted by people and part of the great Zelda collection. It also has one of the most interesting story lines. Very ironic.
You see. At first I was an anti-Wind Waker stupid guy. Well, Katana Pig changed that. I got the game because of his convincing chatter over time. As I hope I can convince all of you people against Wind Waker. Try it for like a half an hour or so and if you like it keep goim' and if not, I still did my job here. Once I beat the game I passed it too my cousin (author of the Samurai Champloo Short, click link in my welcome message) and he beat it too. Once I got my game back he was telling me how awesome it was and as I said Swift and katana Pig agree with me. This game was a worth while part of the Legend of Zelda.
Warm Regards,
Atsuko Loneidokai
