I'll miss you guys ^.^
The movers get here in less than ten hours. Scary! There's still so much to do! Today I gave almost all of the food in my kitchen to my friend Beth, along with a BUNCH of other things I had around the house that she needed, like a cappuccino machine (Couldn't take it cause the plugs are different).
Last day of work and it feels nice to be free. I got to talk to my boyfriend today, though only for a few minutes >.<
Anyway, this is probably my last entry for a while. I may be able to leather express it to the library, but if not, I'll see you from Italy!

Photo Shoot
Terribly sorry to bother you with even more pictures of my cats. I'm slowly becoming a crazy cat lady.

Hey, what?

You're taking a picture?!?!

But I don't have any makeup on!

Oh, just calm down. *streeeetch*

You always worry too much about what people think of you.

Bros Before Hoes
Whew. Tomorrow is my last day of work, and Monday the movers come. I have been running ragged this whole week trying to get all the last minute stuff done. I still have loads of paperwork to take care of. Ugh.
Today, though, I had the best lunch I've had in a while. I browned some ground beef, cooked some rice with onions and garlic, and mixed it all together with shredded mozzarella. OH MAN. It.. it goes beyond words. And I followed it up with a nap on the couch with my kitty ^.^
Which reminds me, new icon! It's my two boys, my redheads. I love them to death. "Bros before hoes" is a phrase my sister came up with for them when she came to visit a while back.
I've been on a huge rice kick ever since I bought my ricemaker. I love this thing, it's small, it's portable, it's just so incredibly handy and versatile. It steams veggies, it does all kinds of stuff. One of my favorite things to do with it is cook the rice about halfway, then add a cup of coconut, and 1/2 cup of almonds to it, and let it finish cooking. Then, about three or four minutes before it's done, add some honey. When it's done, scoop into bowls (or in my case, a bowl and some tupperware, and toss the tupperware in the freezer for an easy breakfast) and enjoy! I think I'll make some of that for dessert tonight. Yum.. *drools thnking about it*
I'm out like a fat kid in dodgeball.

A few nights ago I finished a book I was reading called "The Girl Who Played Go," which is really very interesting, but the ending left somewhat to be desired. Really, it's the only way she COULD have ended it without it becoming a cheesy love story, so I guess it's alright. But the part of me that loves trashy romance novels is still unsatisfied.
Anyway, so I started a new book last night called "God.com" which is gradually becoming more interesting, but I'm not so sure I like the format. Hopefully it's something that starts to grow on you.
I think my cat loves MyOtaku too. Whenever I'm on the site, he jumps in my lap and sits there and purrs until I'm done. *gets up and grabs some junior mints from the freezer and some kitty treats*
I'm moving in eleven days. What kind of crazy is that? It's kind of hard to believe.
For some reason, I have the song I Touch Myself stuck in my head. Okay, time to go listen to music and dance around the house.

Sonnnnnng
A couple of weeks ago, I was browsing people's websites and I found one with a Ryuichi fan song... and I got the original song stuck in my head for about a week, so I eventually adapted it to Fruits Basket.
This is even funnier, because the song is the Oscar Mayer bologna song (Y'know, the My bologna has a first name, it's O-S-C-A-R...).

My obsession has a first name, it's H-A-T-O-R-I
My obsession has a second name, it's S-O-H-M-A
Ohhhh, I love to watch him every day and if you ask me why I'll sayyyy
Because Hatori has a way with my F-U-R-U-B-A!

Don't worry, I won't stay this nerdy for long *laugh* Right now I'm just way too bored because I'm getting ready to move and I don't really have much in the way of friends here anymore. Once I get to Italy and make some new friends and start classes, my brain will have other things to do... instead of making up nerdy anime songs to the tune of commercials.
Ugh, there goes my dinner. My cat just chowed down on my mac & cheese when I wasn't looking. Gonna go chase him down.

Slovenia
Well, to put it simply, it rocked. It rocked hardcore. It didn't just rock my socks; it rocked my whole sock DRAWER.
So, I snowboarded, and it was a lot of fun . And even though I am incredibly sore now, it was completely worth it.
Me with my spontaneous Slovenian snowboarding instructor. After I tumbled and rolled down a hill, he and four of his friends offered to help Chelsea and me.

That's right, throwing the peace sign.
I love how everyone on this trip thought I was utterly hilarious. I don't know what it was, but for some reason, every sentence out of my mouth was a cause for riotous laughter. I think maybe these people just don't get out much. I'm going to become a volunteer for the church group in Italy, so that will be a lot of fun, since I've already met people from there.
In other news... when I find a place to live, I'm going to get a job, and an aquarium so that I can put seahorses in it.
I also found out that if I buy a laptop, my parents will go halvsies on it with me, since it will be for college stuff. Yes!

Hey Lucy, I'm hoome!
So, I'm finally home from Slovenia. I had so much fun. I learned how to snowboard, which was incredibly cool. Anyway, just a quick update. I'll add to this later. My muscles are in dire need of an epsom salt bath.

Idaho is their holy land.
I leave tomorrow at 7:30 for Slovenia (With a name like Slovenia, I get an image of thirty people waiting in line for a potato). I'm excited, because while I'm there I'm meeting the church people I'll be working with in Italy, to make plans for my service project in April. I'll be going to Slovakia (another potato line...) for a week to help build playgrounds and schools for poor children there. Aww, aren't I charitable?
Anyway, skiing should be a lot of fun. I've never gone skiing before. It also means I won't be back until Tuesday.
It's time for some eats, and then I need to get to bed.

Now I'm all nervous...
Wow, is my face red? I couldn't find my canvases, so I did a pastel/ink fanart. (First one ever, I might add; not even pre doodling. Which, thinking back, wasn't very smart... At all.) But then I scanned it, and, well, it doesn't look very good. At all. I'm proud of my beautiful color mixing (which isn't even visible in the scanned version), and that's about it. But I figured, I may as well put it up online. *whew* *bashful face*
So, anyway, you're welcome to a cringe. The way I see it, I just need some practice :D

Teehee! ^.^
I just saw a British comedian on tv, talking about how to make sure no significant other EVER leaves you. What you do, is only date nonsmokers. When you're in bed with him/her, stick nicorette patches on his/her arms, three or four patches. Take 'em off by morning. Over a period of time, they gradually get addicted and don't even know it! Then, if they leave you, they'll start getting these cravings, and funny feelings, and they'll think they're in love and come runnnnning back to you!
