Rune, Part 2
Now that I look over my remade version, most of the wrk I did was near the end. I didn't change anything already here, but I added in some new stuff that those who have already read the story might enjoy.

Meanwhile, Rune and Nuphotak had finally reached their destination, the Dragon Clan. Compared to the small Phoenix Clan, the Clan of the Dragons was immense. Easily the size of a large city, this clan’s members were all the brightest and strongest dragon-wielding warriors in the realm. Hybrids, dragoons, and demi-wyverns walked the streets.
“Now, follow me to meet the elder,” Nuphotak began,” and hopefully you shall be smitten before you appear before him.”
“You aren’t a very social person, are you?” Rune chuckled.
Nuphotak lead Rune through a mass of hallways, seemingly in a never-ending maze. After a while of walking, they arrived at the elder’s chambers.
“Be polite, as best as you can, in the elder’s presence.” Nuphotak commanded as he pushed the doors opened and ushered Rune in.
“Ah! You must be the Phoenix Knight. Come closer, come closer...” The elder ordered.
Rune hesitantly approached the Dragon Clan elder, soon stopping mere feet away from him.
“Phoenix Knight, I have sent my loyal Nuphotak Megami to bring you here. I have a request of you. A vile beast has stolen a sacred treasure of the Dragon Clan. I would like you to retrieve it for me. You will be handsomely rewarded.”
“Why don’t you send your own men to do it?”
“The beast has seemed to be immune to the powers of my Dragon Clan.”
“And you have chosen me because…?”
“Because you are the strongest warrior we could reach in a short amount of time.”
“That makes me feel so “honored”… Oh, well… It sounds fun to me. Do you know where this “beast” is hiding?”
“There are mountains to the east of here. There is an area where there are many caves by one another. The beat lurks in those caves.”
“Are you sending me any allies? A guide wouldn’t hurt, just in case.”
“If it would be permissible with you, I was planning on sending Nuphotak to guide you.”
“Great... It’s alright with me, I guess.”
“Fine then. Be off.”
Rune exited the room with a smirk on his face. After much yelling and growling from Nuphotak, they left for the lair of the beast, leaving a trail of debris behind them.

“I told you! I don’t know where Infini is!” A man pleaded.
“I know you know. I’ll let you go if you tell me, but if you don’t…” Sairga threatened.
“I… He is supposed to be attacking the Dragon Clan as we speak.”
“Thank you for your cooperation.”
Sairga turned and began to walk away, but soon stopped. He turned around and walked back to the man. He outstretched his hand; it was now just before the man’s face. The fear in the man’s face was clear as Sairga fired a beam of energy.
“That was my Zomon Mizrinobu. How do you like it?” Sairga snickered, but obviously, there was no answer. “Just remember, fool, I never said how I’d let you go.”
Sairga chuckled as he walked into the sunlight from the dark house. In a blinding flash of light, Sairga extended his wings. His sleek, black wings were perfectly shaped for speed, like the wings of all Nightmares. He jumped, and soon took to the air. He flew towards the Dragon Clan, toward Infini. This time he would catch him, and get revenge for his fallen brethren… at any cost.
