w00t im back =P (Slight Picture Overkill)
Okay so camping was fun. We first went to Pyramid Lake, but that didnt end well. It was really dark when we got there, drving in sand, no trees, hardly any open spots, map sucked, people sucked, the whole thing sucked. So we came back home, slept, then went out again early Saturday morning and drove over to Davis Creek. An actual camping area. We found our spot, setup, paid for our stay, and took a few walks. It was really nice there. In the evening they had a Washoe County Employee Talent Show. It had only a handfull of people performing, but it was pretty good. We werent alowed to have open campfires that night, we could only use charcoal which of course we didnt have, so we didnt make any s'mores. We just went into our tent-trailor and played Scrabble. xP we had to put our food away at dark because bears have been in the park pretty frequently lately, and I'm glad we did. We stayed up watching out the windows so if one comes by we can see it, but we didnt see any. However, this morning we checked out the back of our car, and on the rear windshield are small claw marks of a baby bear cub scratching down and onto the car body itself, leaving pretty deep scratches, and a few smaller claw scratches all along the back of the car. They didnt get anything, but they knew there was food in there still, and the car was about 6-8 feet away from where I was sleeping in the tent-trailor. I'm sooo glad we didnt have food in with us! The dog barked late at night a couple times, we thought she was just barking at the roudy, drunk, redneck campers outside messing around, but she could have been seeing the bear and scared it away! Good dog! And speaking of rednecks and bears, I guess a group of drunkards saw a bear and scared it up a tree. Well its no wonder bears eat people, because people are jackasses!
Oh and then this morning we went back out for another walk to the small lake that is out there, and I cought 2 little froggies! ^-^ Go me! Then my dad got his feet wet and cought another so we brought 3 froggies with us home for our backyard pond. We set them in there on the lillypads and they were pretty umm sluggish, not really moving, but I went to check on them and they were gone so they are moving again. I hope they grow into the giant bullfrogs that were croaking at that lake. But anyways, so yeah our camping trip was pretty good. =3
Hope everything is okay with all of you!
