Now with sleep-deprived action!
Well, before about 7:00 PM this night I had not slept since the previous day, which makes school just that more interesting, lol. This was not really a bad case of sleep deprivation though. There are times where I seriously make sounds that probably should be words but come out as jarbled garbage, and/or I begin talking about irrelelvant things like the sounds whales and dolphins make accompanied by my horrible impression of them. ^__^
Today's case was merely a case of utterly random thought and jittery action. This, however, did not really interfere with my school work...
I have Psychology first period, and I am beginning to like that class now that we are actually getting into it. Especially since pretty much everyone in their is a complete moron, so it makes me feel all the smarter. I would say I am in the top two or three smartest people in that class in terms of psychology (not including the teacher). I tend to answer the questions (correctly) which he says that normally people do not get. -- Piro, a future psychologist? Maybe...
Next up is English. I believe that I am rather lucky to get an enjoyable teacher a second year in a row. They actually make that class seem interesting, and make me actually want to read at times. Currently I am still working on Walden by Henry David Thoreau. I have just recently picked it up again. I have been going on and off for a while now. I think next I want to try some Existentialism, like Sartre. I shall probably check out Nausea. "Three o'clock is always too late or too early for anything you want to do."
After English I have Multimedia, which is becoming pretty exciting. We have a different teacher than what a lot of the class expected (being that it is pretty much the same people from my computer graphics class clast year). While he does not let us listen to music (school policy, not his) or anything like that, he seems really into getting us to do a lot of things like make commercials and make webpages and such. I have a feeling that web page design is not going to be anything new; we start that tomorrow. I asked him if he knew PHP, and he said that he has never really gotten into dynamic scripting, because most students are not even knowledgable of basic scripting. That is understandable, but I wish I could find someone here who knows PHP so I can actually see them do things and such and learn it that way.
Next I have Physics... which is just phsyics. So far nothing really new or exciting here.
Fifth period I have Applied Design, which is kind of like an arts n' crafts kind of art class. Right now we are doing something really stupid and boring. Though, I heard the teacher say today that we will be making some kind of stationary after we finish what we are doing. So maybe that will be more interesting.
Study hall. Bleh, it is so boring. I cannot eat or drink in there. It is nearly impossible to do any work because the desks are messed up and are aligned dominantly at the right, and I am left handed. The desks are kind of low and close into the person. I should really see about getting that switched to a lunch hour.
After this I have Newspaper Production for my seventh and eighth hour class. I was able to hand in my columns and such, and originally I had a feature due tomorrow on some kid who went to Equador a year ago or so to protest the war in Iraq, and while he was doing that, mustard gas was shot into that crowd and he got caught in it -- that is the main hook to the story anyway. I had just learned of writing this story today, so I immediatly got myself around to figuring out how I could get ahold of this guy. So I looked around to see if anyone on staff knew him, and some did so I got a visual description of him and such and then had to go down to the office and look up his schedule. Lucky for me, we both have early release after eighth period. So close to the end of eighth and went down to his class and waited. When the bell rang I did not see anyone matching his description walk out of the classroom. So I went in there did not see him still in the classroom and then asked the teacher if he was in class today. Apparently he is away until Friday. Some other people told me that he is in Washington D.C. talking to Congress about something. o_O This kid gets around. So I was able to get an extension on that, which is good. ^_^
After school I had practice for the musical. It was simply a read-through and such. I do not have many lines or appearances or anything... >.> Though, the director said she is going to write some in in some places and such so I have more time and moments "in the spotlight".
Then I came home, started to eat dinner and just as I was about finished I got a "mysterious" call from someone of whom I simply adore...
