   Yep....
So I'm actually posting on here again before another year passes. I'm actually not sure if I'll be posting here again after this. It's a nice site and all, but I don't really spend that much time online in general. I've also kind of replaced this site for my anime blogging purposes. Yeah, I keep my list obsessively up to date so I'm on there often already so I'll just be using the blog on there. Sorry myOtaku! Anyway, so far I have two entries. One is a list of my top 20 favorite anime series and the other is a little rant about me being confused about the popularity of Death Note. I was also actually able to redo my top 25 girl list. Yeah, boredom at work can be productive for weird things. That will most likely be the next thing I post on MAL.... *bye-bye*

   I'm alive....
Hello! It's been a year and a half since I posted on here. It's been about that long since I've posted any journal type entries online. About the only things that have shown my digital existence have been a few random forum posts on various sites and a few halfassed art posts on Deviant Art. I've been thinking about making a new post on here a few times. Like maybe updating my Top 25 Favorite Anime/Manga Girls list that I did 3 years ago. But that would just be soooo hard now. I've seen and read so much new stuff since then that it would be torture to rank all of my beloved fictional girls. I could easily expand the list to 50, but ranking them all would just be painful. I've also thought of doing a list of my favorite guys or favorite couples. But all these things would just take so much time. And I don't really have that much time these days. Quick life update: Work is insane. I've also been running an anime club/screening on base for over a year now. I've been trying to watch as much anime and read as much manga as I can, but I still have quite the insane backlog. I've moved out of the dorms and into an apartment off base. I've been getting pretty deep into tabletop RPG. Etc. Etc. So yeah, busy me. Well, just because I did the thinking for this to post on a forum, here is a quick list of my top 10 favorite anime series of all time at the moment:

1. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
2. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
3. Black Lagoon
4. Gurren Lagann
5. Haibane Renmei
6. Azumanga Daioh
7. Shakugan no Shana
8. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
9. Kaleido Star
10. Genshiken

Another series I've been loving lately is Toradora. The novels and the anime that is currently airing in Japan are just awesome. It will definitely be in my top 10 somewhere after I finish watching it. I only ranked series that I've watched at least one full anime season of. Yeah, with Suzumiya Haruhi, Higurashi, Toradora, Shana, Zetsubou Sensei, Zero no Tsukaima, and many of the other things I've gotten into in the past 3 years, that girls list would be extremely difficult to update....

Anyway, I'm still alive and as otaku as ever (actually much more so). Yay for me. Maybe I'll post again before another year passes?? Well, if I don't, I guess I'll be out of the Air Force by then. Ahhh, December 6, 2009.... What a wondrous day that will be.... Laters!

   Ohhhh, Shiny....
Man, I haven't posted here for a while, huh? Well, today I saw something that really struck my otaku heart. Now I'm not a big Gundam fan at all, but this is just oh so pretty!! Seriously, when I saw it this morning at work it was so beautiful that it almost brought a tear to my eye. As ANN said, it's a 30 million yen Gundam model made of platinum.... Yes, there are some people who's level I may never, ever reach. ^_^"

   Drake: Scanlation Proofreader!!
So, the other day, Kotonoha asked for proofreaders for some of their new scanlation projects. One of them was Hourou Musuko. It's about a boy and a girl who become friends in the fifth grade. The boy is more like a girl and the girl is more like a boy. It really got my interest so I downloaded the proofreader test for it and did my edit. And today I found out I got the job!! Woo-hoo!

Yeah, I really love these guys and the manga they put out so I'm glad that I get to help them out. Hopefully I do a really good job and it is a really successful release. I got to get to work on the second chapter now. Please read it when it comes out. ^_^

Myran-san's Manga died....
Yeah, this is a little catch up, I guess, or something like that.... Okay. First off, from my last post, some bad news: Myran-san stopped hosting scanlation manga. :( Yeah, if you click on the link in the last post, it will take you to nothing but a blog page thingy. Kind of sucks since I wasn't able to download everything that she was hosting. Also kind of concerning the last post, I've bought the Japanese versions of Girlfriend, GOTH, and Milk Closet! Yeah, I'm a hardcore geek or something retarded like that....

My manga collection is actually nearing the 300 volume mark! Yeah, check out the link at the top of my page to see my progress. I'm at 277 at the moment so it won't be much longer. ^_^ I'm really getting into Aishiteruze Baby right now. It's some of the cutest manga I've read in a while. I actually have 19 volumes of manga I need to read right now in my collection with some more coming on it's way. Yeah, that's bad. ^_^" Work sucks sometime. But it's the weekend so maybe I'll be able to catch up a bit. Yeah....

Anyways, that's all for now. I should be getting a computer next month so I may actually be on here more often soon. Laters!

ps- By the way, in case you don't know me and this is the only way you've heard of me, I'm in New Mexico now as an Air Force finance troop and it's not too bad; although if you only know me from here then I really doubt that you really care all that much about how I'm doing. Anyway.... That is all.
