Thrice upon my shame
You have laid blame
And thrice I have yet to justify

I have counted these days
Filled with so many ways
Too say goodbye to you
I had no clue

You beat me to the punch
Broke my heart with a sickening crunch
As you stole off
Turned my whole world off

My Dark Desires

My desire is to be alone
Will you let me?
Can I really be left alone?
No one will just leave me alone!

My desire is to be unhappy forever
Everyone won't let me have misery
Let me stay in my dark room
I wish people would let me be

My desire is to stay in my mind
It keeps me from you
Will you ever let me stay
You try taking me away
Why?
Can't you leave me alone

My desire is to hide away
Would you let me?
I want to hide in a dark corner
Let me bask on the darkness

My desire is to bask on memories of pain
Can't you let me?
Let the darkness take me
I feel safe there

No one will care if I'm
Gone
Will you?
Try changing my mind!

Everything about you

I miss your hair
blowing in the wind
while you talk to me there
in that same place beneath
that big dogwood tree

I miss your smile that you have
when I laugh at your words
when I'm scared you save me
with your mystical grin

I miss your laugh that makes me join you
the best one I've ever heard
so cheerful when you've gone through
so much stuff and now I can't hear you at all

But what I miss the most is just you
everything about your features
your eyes, your voice, your embrace
all of it
I wouldn't change one thing

If I could I'd run 1000 miles just to race to you again,
my friend

You're an angel
your wings hold me
others may not see them
but they are there
you're my friend and
if they hate you I will still be there

Alright, I will now announce the winner of the poetry contest!

We got 4 poems in the contest and all of them were great, and I'd like to thank all those who took part in this competition!

First Time at the Beach

Quiet day, warm sunny shore,
who could possible ask for more?

First time in the shifting sand,
mamma holds me close and takes my hand.

I watch the ocean tide come out and in, then watch it do the same again.

As I walk and roam, I notice the ocean foam, it is as white as a cloud of day, when shone upon by a sun ray.

The sun begins to set with the colors of red and yellow, then sunny colorful thoughts fill my head.

As I journey home, I have thoughts of sand and foam, and as I think over the day I have one last thing to say,

Hooray!

You see the hurt..the pain.
That is through one persons eyes.
What does the others see?
Do they see what you have done?

The suffering you have caused.
The way you turned my head the other way.
The way you made me not trust.
The way you hurt me..the most.

Look through your eyes and tell me if you see what most others see.

Blue Rose

Will you walk around with me
With my arm right around your waist?

I can just walk with you endlessly,
So there isn’t any need for haste.

It doesn’t really matter where we might be
Just as long as you’re right beside me.

As long as you’re here, I don’t mind where we might have lied.
Even if it’s under the dirt, I’ll still be by your side.

I’d like to walk with you for much longer, if I may.
I’d like to still walk with you, even when we’re both gray.

No, I never, ever want to leave your side.
But when I almost let your hand go, you cried.

I don’t care what time it is. I don’t want to go home now
Because I couldn’t be alive, and then, you showed me how.

If something might happen to you,
I wouldn’t mind going along, too.
