Disappear

Your beaming smile
and your shining eyes
the closest thing to perfect

You're close but not mine
my words have replies
yet have no effect on your opinion of me
and I ask you this:

Do you feel we are
as close as I believe?
Time goes so quick
I take a blink
and you already disappeared
to be gone forever
traveling slowly,
fading in the distance
