-Barefoot-

On quiet nights

I often go walking

Barefeet hitting the cold sidewalk

Without a sound.

The city lights are bright

And I can't see the stars

over the glow of the streetlamps

overhead.

But when my walk turns

to a run

I leave the lights behind me.

I'll run all night if I have to

just to feel the grass

beneath my feet.

-Vampire-

Walk the long

Corridors

Take in that

Sweet aroma

Of death that

Lies behind this

Long hall of

Locked Doors

He appears behind

Taking the neck

Between his

Sharp dagger teeth

Feel the blood

Seep out and

The unbearable pain

Seep in

Slowly becoming

Just like him

Going to last

For all eternity

The last thing

They all wanted
