December...and and the 00's ended on a high note....then again I got to spend the last two days with two...three of my favorite bands...finally getting to see Descender...I really am kicking myself for not seeing them on Halloween. They are AMAZING~! I gave prints to some very awesome people...Lions, Wes, Erica and Duane. At the New Year's Eve show I ran into James O'Barr (creator of The Crow) talked to him for a while about music. Also got signed by him and Clark (distortion guitarist for Toadies) :heart:

Spent the first three days of this year...decade, driving. First day driving back home from Dallas and then on the second and thrid driving to and from Austin since I went up there for another Lions show ^^; Which that was REALLY fun. Outside the venue there was a guy in a bear costume....FUN! The set up of the outside stage area was really cool since it was in like three different levels all of which had excellent views of the stage. After their set Saffron and I ended up having drinks with the Lions =)

The rest of this month have been spent mostly in my house. Sure there have been a couple of nights at the bar, with friends and many a night on facebook and working on photos. A couple of routine doctors visits....I get to go to the dentist again in ten days and have my wisdom teeth removed...BOO!

OH yesterday....well now Thursday afternoon I ended up getting a package from Lions because I won their street team mission on reverbnation and they sent me signed copies of their CDs and a shirt I didn't have yet (also signed) plus a little lion marble puzzle with a letter....I would've been content with the letter and the puzzle....seriously these guys are awesome and so very sweet. Also that night I went to a RealmsCon meeting, it was also an anime club (kind of) meeting but the bulk of the meeting was talking about RealmsCon. The more prominent point of the night was picking the band we wanted to come. Our choices were Peelander-Z, Lemon Drop Kick and UShin (?). After the CEO showed video for all three bands we ended up deciding that based on sound...and price Lemon Drop Kick was the best fit. While I would've liked to see Peelander-Z again the video he showed only showed off the audience participation side of their set rather than their musical styling.
